Why you may ask? Well it depends on the health of my father really. Right now we don't know how things will turn with him. I'm hoping things will improve, but I have this nagging feeling....
Also hubbies grandmother, no idea how things stand with her right now.

FWA is the usual con that we try to attend. If things go well, I'd like to attend at the hotel like we (hubby and me) did last year. If we're tight on money like we are now, we live close enough to attend the weekend and just drive home every night. Instead of staying at the hotel.

I mean, I'm trying to stay positive that we can attend. It's the only trip we can afford and it means the world to me to attend.

What about you furs? What cons mean a lot to you that you just have to go every year?

The following news is depressing:

Dads chemo drug isn't working. I'm not sure on the next step since they aren't sure yet either until they talk to the doctor again.

Brandon's grandmother has kidney issues. She should be in the hospital, yet she doesn't want to do anything about it. Said if it's her time, it's her time, so she's just gonna' let things go.

I just, can't deal with two people possibly leaving my life at the same time.

My birthday is Sat. and I must say, I'm loving the idea of having a girls party like this for my birthday party. I'll be 35 and still having fun!

To quote my hubby:
"Just received the horrible news that our dear friend Steven Cape passed away yesterday. Steve was a great guy, a giving soul, and a fellow lover of life. Suzanne Reed and I are absolutely heart broken by this news, and we send our condolences and love to his family and to all of his friends at this terrible time. But, Steve would not want all of us to be sad and crying. He would want us all to remember the happiness and joy we all shared together. He would want us all to remember the smiles, the laughs, the music, and the great times. And that's just what we'll do. We love you, Steve. We miss you. Tell Frank, John, George, Mooney and the Ox we said "hi"."

I literally went to Steve's Facebook page and found out 10 minutes ago that he passed away. Not the best way to find out, but at least we found out.
He moved to West Virginia and we don't know anyone up there but him, hence FB.

Gonna' miss you terribly man. (goes back to crying)

I officially have RA! (Rheumatoid Arthritis)

I've been taking RA meds for five weeks, had to get blood work to see if it's been working. The doc called this morning to tell me my test results came back normal, so the plan is for me to just keep taking the meds.

Other than that, my plan is to ask Santa for lots of fuzzy pajama pants! They are helping my legs a lot. Seeing as I wear them year round they are also pretty worn out.

I'm just trying to be positive about things. I know there are others with worse things going on. Not much else I can do.
