A give away (raffle)?
Posted 8 years agoQuick question, would anyone be interested if I would do a raffle? To be specific for this hat: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22411066/
I already have it done (just the one), so it won't involve waiting time or work. To be honest, I don't think I am planning to make more of these hats. So it doesn't really matter weather I sold just the one hat, keep it or do a raffle. But I thought it would be more fun to celebrate the splatoon 2 release (in 3 weeks) with a give away.
It can involve sharing my pages (fa, fb, insta etc), but I am afraid it would aslo give people the wrong idea because I wont be offering these hats anymore (or at least at this moment I don't think I will) I closed my shop for these a while ago because of my job >_< And ever since, multiple people are contacting me about the hats and I don't want to keep disappointing people. At least I can give away the last hat I have in my possession :P + its a fun celebration.
Please let me know your opinion and maybe some advice on how to handle such raffle without any confusion and such. Just fun yaknow!

Posted 8 years agoCan I just share, how much I all appreciate you guys! I have been going through some rough times and everybody been so patience with me and my work! Thank you so much, it means allot to me! I am so sorry if I haven't been able to hold on my promises to you guys, I am trying really hard not to fail. I am having a really hard time showing this side of myself, so I hope this won't sound weird or something. I have kept to myself for way too long and for that I am really sorry. Lets just hope everything will be better in the future and I can share lots of awesome stuff with you guys again! I just can't wait to make more cute stuff and make everyone happy with my creations ♥ Lets do this!

Meanwhile I am pretty busy with my new job and finishing my last orders on Etsy!
Hopefully will be done with Etsy soon so I can focus again on my hoodies/onesies ♥

Some of you prob already knew, heck I even got a lots of feedback on a poll I created a while ago (which I will share results for very soon!)
My goal is to blog every week...I wish I could blog every day tough, because to be honest I have plenty to talk about that I can easily make a blog on a daily base. Problem is just, that I don't have the time to do so :P So maybe if there is demand for it, I can try to do them more often. For now, I will keep doing them on a weekly base ^_^
I am sure not everyone is likely to read them, but I like to do them for updates, my own development and also just to empty my mind ;3 In the future I like to do tutorials too and maybe even videos. If there is anything you like to see, just let me know :3
Anyway last Saturday I was away for a fun event and wrote a little something about it and just wanted to let you know. Be sure to check my other posts too, my last ones where about my recent art commissions ♥

Closing my shop!

Sooo since I found a part-time job, I've decided to close my Etsy Shop. I am not planning to close it forever tough, just for now until I get used to the job and have cleaned most of my plate!

New floor!
Posted 8 years agoThis week will be chaos here! O_O on top of that I am not feeling so well (female body whyyy!?) :P
So in December we had water damage in our kitchen, our floor had been taken out soon after and tomorrow they will finally remove the complete floor (living room, hall). They only had to remove the kitchen earlier, so the floor could dry. Today I will need to clean/ remove objects/ move furniture/ pack stuff from the complete living room so they can do their work tomorrow. Then on Friday they will place the new floor and will prob be busy with putting everything back + cleaning until Saturday O_O
It's a bit stressful, but at least it will be done and we can enjoy a new floor, yay! Can't wait to have it all behind me tough O_O This will also mean we have to remove the computers (so can't use them), since they are in our living room. I prob wont be working on anything during this week. Anyway, not in the mood for this all at all! With my current health situation, I just want to lay down, be comfy in soft blankets, eat chocolate and drinking hot tea :3 hehe :P ahwelll!

I always wanted to make them, but I never want to rush things either and I want to do it good. And now that I see people are still and even more (votes keep coming in) excited for these I am getting rlly hyped for these too :3

As for the vote status at this moment, I am quite surprised ^_^

Now to get to the real big survey! While I am working here to making progress with projects (hoodies, eevees, splatooooon, art queue etc), I am preparing myself mentallly for the next round. Lots of ideas and things been popping my mind what I want to do next, but most importantly what do you guys want!? So that's where the surveys comes in! You guys can vote...

What's your favorite pet animal?
Posted 9 years agoHey guys, I've posted another blog post on my website www.sweetsushi.nl and I am currently debating with myself what I want to do next time I open commissions.
I have been getting tons of requests for onesies and opening dates for these, but I like to know what more can I offer? Don't worry I will not disappoint you guys, I will definitely open onesies again! I just don't want to end up making only onesies and disappoint the ones that want other stuff from me (e.g. art or smaller sewing projects) since not everyone can afford an onesie or want one in the first place. For example my hoodies can be a bit more practical to wear and still gives the effect of wearing an animal (furry/fursona) form :3
I will discuss this more in my next blog and add a poll for specifically this! But for now I want to ask you guys if you want to answer my poll here http://sweetsushi.nl/2017/01/17/reg.....-new-projects/ so I can test how this survey thing works (for my next blog update about commission types) and just because I like to know what your favorite pet animal is ♥
My answer would be, a dog! I really want to get a dog eventually, a podenco ♥ I have a green cheek conure, he's really nice company too (but not the same as dogs imo) I also used to have a water turtle, but I ended up bringing her to a turtle paradise home since she gotten to big for us to take care of (sadness). I grew up with dogs and cats, but ever since I live on my own (well with my mate) we never got the chance to get a dog :( SOMEDAY!

I just wanted to share with you guys my new website that I've made a while ago. I am not completely done with uploading my projects yet, but I will get there eventually!
I also want to point out I will try to blog there every week, so if you like to keep updated or just want to read my rambling then be sure to check my blog ^_^ (for just quick pics, check my Insta!)
This also means, I am not going to post all that same info here, so I will (i think) post a weekly update here with a link to my website with the blog. What do you guys think?
It's just too hard for me and too distracting to keep posting everywhere and the reason I added a blog on my website is so that I can avoid that distraction and post everything in one place but still being able to express myself and update my followers.
The blog will include weekly updates, either schedule/project updates, positive things, rants, wips, tutorials or just sharing my opinion! I like to push myself to blog at least once a week ♥
OHH and I will also make a commission page on my website later, so everyone can see examples of my work, prices and a form to request a commission and stuff like that. Everything in one place, love it!
Of course I will keep uploading my finished work here! Just going to link you guys to my website whenever I have a new blog, commissions that's going to open once again and other information ♥

2016 Wrap Up & a Happy New Year!

Its been hell of a ride, but looking back I think I did good at least ♥ I don't have any art goals for 2017, I just want to work on my projects, doing my best and see where life gets me in 2017!
I love my projects and making awesome things for you guys and I keep getting inspired with tons of ideas I want to create, but 2016 been way too stressful for me O_O I have to stop raising that bar...
So from now on I am going to focus on the good things, I really want 2017 to be positive and progressive. Just enjoy, moving forward, making progress and living mindful!
Wish you all a good one too, thank you so much everyone that's been rooting here for mel! ^_^ Puuuuuuuuuuuuuh ♥ ♥ ♥

Happy Halloween!

First of all O___O Sorry guys for not being able to reply on my last journal yet. I will later! ♥
Like wow I didn't expected so many respond and I barely had any time for myself (aka for you >_<)
Back to Halloween ♥ What ya all doing today! Or had any parties last weekend?
I am making pumpkin pie and soup myself! My mate is making sweets too ♥
Just listening to spooky music today and enjoying the day (read: cleaning & cooking :P).
Sadly no Halloween themed art or whatsoever this year :(
I've been way too busy lately, its a shame cause Halloween and Fall is my favorite season ♥
Lots of appointments and also some job opportunities! O_O Yup looking for a job on the side again! Nothing full-time tough.
I want to keep creating for you guys and also lots of things in my queue, but I really need a more stable income on the side.
So yeah been pretty occupied with that too and very busy making a new website :O Portfolio update and all that stuff.
Anyways enough said about work and jobs! Lets enjoy this day ^_^
Gonna watch horror movies tonight (although been watching them all month and pretty much always :P)
You guys have any favorite horror movies you like to watch?

What is your (favorite) art fetish?

Personally I like inflation allot, its a shame I don't draw it that often.
I got into it because of the artist adamios who introduced me to inflation.
Once I get the chance I like to draw more personal/fan inflation (helium) and balloon art.
I also like to try out macro (giantess) art, I love the innocent and clumsy side of macro and inflation art.
Its just so cute and silly and really makes me smile. Just all fun yaknow ^_^

New Watchers ♥ Ooops!

Where about 350+ new watchers I've gotten in the past few months.
When I get the chance I always like to see who my new watchers are and maybe give a watch back.
But I didn't pay any attention and nuked them...again...sigh :P
Anyways I just wanted to say, a big thank you to all my new watchers and those who are still here to continue following my work!

Halloween orders done / Rat-Kigu ♥ Squeek / Hoodies Soon!

Soooo just here to update you guys!
After I've gotten sick I slowly gotten back to work.
It delayed me way more then I wanted tough, so I had to give up some things I wanted to do.
Like I wanted to make all these cute items for Halloween, but I ended up with just one Goomy Bag.
I even got all the materials in for a Pikachu version, but it's no priority atm since I wont make it for Halloween.
Good things too tough! I was able to finish all my Etsy orders, including Halloween deadlines.
It's good to have a clean list there, so now I will be able to focus more on my commission work here.
I will start with finishing some art pieces (You Can Do It!) and also with sewing an onesie again! Huray!
Katie it's finally your turn! and after that I will be able to pick up the hoodies ♥ really excited about that too.
I also emailed allot of my (art) commissioners, cause in that way I can discuss more details.
For those that already got back to me, I will contact you asap! It's really hard to keep up with everyone.
And for my commissioners that didn't got an email from me yet, I will contact you soon too!
I've divided it in 2 mail groups and just didn't want to handle it all at the same time.
So much more I want to tell, but I will keep it short since it already kinda didn't :P

Bad news / Good news!

Will start with the bad news O_O After the trip with my family I've caught a virus.
So until I've recovered from this cold I won't be able to do much work really.
Just need to rest, lots of it! Hot tea, lots of water and soup :3
Atm I am not sure when I will feel well enough, but I surely feel stressed about Halloween coming up.
There is still lots that needs to be done, so I hope I will feel better soon!
Once I do I will start contacting my commissioners, like said in my previous journal :3
Good new is that I've filled all my eeveelution slots! Which means all commissions (beside Etsy items) are now closed until further notice!
I am super excited to work on all these projects, but before I will start on the eevees I am going to finish some other work first.
I will focus a bit on Halloween items for my shop, a few more splatoon hats and I will also start the hoodies since I have all the materials in!
