Character: Sylia Brickcaster

Sylia Brickcaster was born as a farm girl. She worked in the fields as a child and a teen, quite content to be with her parents. She didn't get to see a whole lot of the world as she lived in a rural area, but after having to wrestle a hog and know what it's like to turn an animal into food, she wasn't all too timid and didn't mind charging headfirst into things, even in unfamiliar territory.

One day while out enjoying a warm sunny day at the ripe age of 16, away from the many tasks and chores that her father demanded of her to keep up the farm she was spotted by a nobleman traveling through. Their gazes locked and held firm for a long moment, the wind blowing through Sylia's hair and rippling her dress and the soft jostling of the man's carriage in motion only faint reminders of time still passing. It was love at first sight. At least, for one side of the coin. Soon after Sylia's parents received a courier message that Sylia was invited to an elaborate event where she would be the star of the show. He was bold and forthright and offered his courtship out fully. Sylia's parents were overjoyed by the news and that Sylia would not have to work a farm for her life and could marry into wealth. From their perspective it was the best thing that could happen. Sylia protested heavily but her parents were far too insistent.

On the eve of her departure to the man's estate for the event, Sylia fled. She grabbed a few of her clothes and a bit of food to take with her and fled into the night, running for the nearest city so she could get away from the fate her parents tried to force on her. For her own good, they said. Sylia wanted no part of it.

The city was a new experience, but Sylia took to it quickly, working jobs as a cook to get by. But it didn't last long. After taking in all of the experiences of the hustle and bustle compared to her normal life, she heard of bigger cities. Metropolises. And she traveled again, this time with more ease as she wasn't running away so much as exploring the world laid open to her.

From there on she discovered a great many new interests like her love of women and made many friends. One friend she met knew a peculiar kind of magic to alter a person's body and she gave Sylia her second tail as well as taught her the techniques to work this magic.

Sylia behaved more like a feline than the vulpine she was in her many endeavors, and when one person commented on this she insisted that she was a feline already, much to that person's confusion and Sylia's amusement. And ever since she's insisted it with such firmness that she might even believe it herself.

Since she left it has been 8 years of exploring both herself and the world she never knew, like her encounters with herms and other inbetweens. She's made many friends but has yet to grow too attached to any one person. She has refined her magic and learned to do amazing changes to people with it, however much this might weird out other people.

My main character, Sylia, is my idea of a perfect mate. Nothing too fantastic body wise, but confident, sassy, independent. Strong willed, light hearted, and fiercely intelligent.

She's such a strong contrast to a good many people I know that are soft spoken, always questioning what's different and walking the straight and narrow, staying dull and boring. Humor is nothing hard to find, but it's usually of the crude sort that gets tiring.

So character I play most is the very same kind of person I'd like to meet. I like myself too much.
