Hello! (An Update)

I know I have been horribly quiet on here and I deeply apologise.
I want to create. I want to post. I *genuinely* am hoping to post soon.
I have been struggling with depression (both my own and the kind that comes from being unemployed for so long), and it's been a killer to my inspiration and motivation.
Been doing my best to try and at least sketch every day, as I would really like to get back into creating full pieces and maybe even getting good enough to freelance or do commissions and things.
The job market is a mess and I feel like I have the same level of chance for getting ANY kind of rando job (since applications and even getting interviewed is a logistical nightmare) as I do just trying to make it as a freelance artist. I've been trying to make a portfolio, but the guilt myself and others give me for 'wasting my time drawing' gets to me constantly.
I've always wanted to create a story and characters and share with others. I have so many ideas I've held onto. And...maybe...at this point where I don't seem to have much left to lose...maybe I'm going to give it a try.
My work might be varied for a while--probably a mix of emotional and existential pieces, along with just fun fanart and OCS (both SFW and NSFW). I hope to get into a rhythm and share my joys and my ideas with you all.
