I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still alive. I unfortunately had one of the hardest years of my life. I've been dealing with divorce and I let depression take over and nearly ended everything. But I'm doing a lot better now.

I'm happy to say things are finally looking up. This last month I've been working hard drawing nearly every day. I just uploaded my latest pic and I've managed to draft out a 12 page comic that I'm very excited to share with you all! I'll be inking each page individually and releasing them as soon as they're ready. Once the entire comic is inked and uploaded I'll work on the colored version. It's a pretty massive project, I just hope you all enjoy it as much as I've been enjoying making it <3

Right now my primary goal is to get back to uploading regularly, and with the comic finally fully drafted I feel confident that I'll be able to ^-^

That's pretty much all I have to say, I hope you're all having a wonderful year <3

My current goal as an artist in my career is to make enough each month to pay for food and rent so I can stop leeching off friends and family. Once I reach that goal I'm going to focus mainly on creating comics, personal art projects, and free art, rather than commissions. I've been working on and off this passion project of mine for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. It's a gameplay overhaul mod that puts a huge emphasis on each fighter's original game's style.

I'm alive! Just wanted to let you guys know that I'm drawing once again finally! yay! I'm gonna try and get a bunch of art uploaded, I have a bunch of projects I'm excited to get started on!


If anyone's curious why I've been away and not drawing; I was going through a pretty extensive depression, but I changed my diet and started working out more and it seems like it's finally going away. Also I now have my own private office room to draw in, which is super amazing! I can now finally get back to drawing comics and working on everyone's commissions, I deeply thank everyone who's been so patient and understanding with me, I'm going to try hard to make the wait worth it!

I've started up my Patreon again! I'll be using it as a way to continue drawing gift arts while being able to afford vital things like coffee/rent and also use it as a way to start refunding commissions till I get a proper job. However if Patreon ends up being successful I'll be able to continue drawing loads of gift arts and comics full time.

I'd like to point out that there are multiple Patreon tiers, but they all have the same rewards (being able to see completed art a day early). I've been thinking about what art means to me and why I do it and I've come to the conclusion that I absolutely don't want to do it for money. I hate it when art feels like a job. It makes me hate drawing and that's why I always end up taking these huge breaks. The reason I draw is to see what I can come up with and to put smiles on people's faces, to make them feel great, and hopefully share a laugh here and there. So from now on I won't be taking commissions and I won't be drawing as a career. Any art from me is going to be free gift art or personal projects. (just please don't spam my inbox for art requests, however, commenting about cool ideas you'd like to see are definitely welcome!)

I hope to start releasing a lot more art again soon and to rebuild my passion for drawing again!
