On a quest, looking for an image FREE SKETCH if you can help
Posted 10 years agoSo! I'm looking for an image from waaay waaay back. I'll describe it as best I can, and if you can find it I'll reward ya with a free sketch!
This image probably predates FA. I've checked through the VCL, hundreds and hundreds of artists. I searched until my brain and arm went numb. I think that's where I saw it.
The image if I remember correctly is black and white or a sketch. (Edit: Ive been doubting my memory as to whether it was just lineart or colored now. So there may be a colored version?? Dunno.) I dont remember the artist.
Its of a bat girl, cute and pretty busty. She is sitting on her knees looking at the viewer. Her hands were in front of her on the ground with a wooden stake in her hands. She had a tube top I believe that was tied together in the front. Her wings might have been on her arms as opposed to her back (if she had them)
Thats about all I can remember, hopefully enough. If you can find it, or provide the lead for me to find it go ahead and link it here I'll draw ya a sketch as thanks!

Mission Accomplished - Unexpected Return
Posted 10 years agoSo just an update, Deployment ended a bit early for me. Received an AMCROSS message while in Korea that my brother had been in a car wreck and was in surgery and the Doctor requested me to his bedside. He was hit by a semi-truck, however in an act of bravery he span the car at the last moment, taking most of the impact, thus protecting and saving his wife and unborn child. Mother and baby are fine, brother will require several surgeries to include facial reconstruction but he's going to be fine. Just a long road ahead.
I'm home for a few weeks in the states spending time with family, then I'll head back to Japan and our regularly scheduled art uploads will return close to the end of the month. Thanks everyone who's been patient and thanks for sticking with me. Y'all are awesome!
I have some traditional artwork to upload buuuut... I left it in Japan to be scanned. So that'll be happening when I get back too.

Posted 11 years agoThat's right! I've managed to survive another deployment and it was an honor. Fighting the Good Fight. Many thanks to those who followed me on twitter tabykatart and got a little taste of what I do out there (as well as sneak peeks to uploads that will be coming over the next few days!) My thanks to those who talked with me on skype and sent care packages, little things like that make life out there so much more manageable and keep me going.
On to what you guys really care about; Porn. I didn't stop drawing while out there. I had my sketch book and have 20+ sketches to upload. Each sketch was done in one sitting and have different levels of completion as well as testing new techniques etc. Be on the lookout for those.
I plan to attend Midwest Furfest this December, however I'm still battling the evil bureaucracy this is required to leave the country and go back to the United States on leave. It's all dependent on how that paperwork comes back. I'm planning like I'm going!
In regards to commissions and trades, I'm planning on finishing the current queue before MFF and it all depends on how that goes as to whether or not I open back up before or after MFF.
Also! I plan to hold a vote on the sketches that I'll be uploading and ask you guys which one(s) you'd like to see completed! But that'll be after they're all uploaded! Another Journal, another time!

Posted 11 years agoMy Roomate and I finally jumped through all the hoops, got authorization and finally, we each found a place out in town to live, on the same day! We can finally move out of the barracks and each get our own place. This is us pretty much rubbing it in :D

It all started with a wise artist telling me to "Shut up and Draw." And so I did!
Another wise artist told me to find one thing I like in each drawing I do and one thing I would like to improve on and apply it to the next.
A third wise artist told me to "Reference, reference, reference"
These have been in my opinion, some of the most helpful advice along the way.
One year ago today I stepped out of the shadows and started drawing and made this FA page. 55,000 page views, 334 or so submissions 2439 watchers, about 38,600 favorites and four conventions later you guys have made my time here absolutely wonderful! I appreciate all the support, the warm welcome and the countless people who have helped and guided me along the way!
This has been quite the adventure, balancing time with my wife and two daughters, the rigorous demands of the military, moving to the opposite side of the planet and getting time to sit down and do what I love! Just goes to show you if a person like me can do it, anyone can!
I'm here to have fun and enjoy the furry community, that's all. Anyone is more than welcome to come along with me and enjoy it too!
Always be open to continue learning and improving guys!
Love you all! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the kindness and support. You guys are all wonderful people!

I've got very limited supplies until I get all my household goods.
No time frame yet of when that'll be! I'll be living in Sasebo for the next couple years.

Things on the Horizon [Ongoing Updates]

My time on shore is drawing to a close and it's time I head back to Sea aboard a ship. Don't worry though, while the ship is in-port I'll be online.
I'm preparing to move as we speak. This Friday I will be moving from New Jersey to Virginia. I'll be there for a few weeks and afterwards I'm off to my new home for the next few years; JAPAN.
Obviously there will be times where I drop off the face of the planet and can't say when I'll be back. It could be a few days or several months, or anything in between.
This is by no means a farewell or anything, just a fair warning that my schedule may be sporadic and I don't honestly know what events are on the horizon for me after I get to Japan. I'll update what/when I can along the way!
[Update 18MAY14] I've arrived in Norfolk Virginia and I'll be here for three weeks attending school. I'm currently in a hotel and huzzah! They have internet and I have my drawing tablet ^_~
[Update 06JUN14] Graduated school now it's off to a visit a few friends for the weekend. I'll be home in Ohio next week up through most of the rest of June. Towards the end of the month I fly out to Japan.
[Update 11JUN14] Arrived home in Ohio at the apartment and got internet hooked up. However the same evening I received word of a death in the family and will be taking care of things along that route.
[Update 18JUN14] Flight to Japan has been moved up a few days. Leaving Next week.
[Update 22JUN14] Spending tomorrow packing and getting ready. Going to try to stay up most of the night and sleep on the plane. Fly out Tuesday.

In the universe of EVE Online, players from every timezone around the globe have been waging wars on a massive scale for nearly 11 years. Some conflicts have been relatively small grudge matches between rivals from adjoining solar systems with maybe a dozen or so frigates and cruisers facing off in fast-paced combat. Others, like the Great War, are fueled by tens of thousands of players and blossom with all the same propaganda, diplomacy (and espionage), supply-chain logistics and military tactics that might fuel a real-world conflict, taking months to resolve and changing entire industrial patterns across the star map.
Totals destroyed:
· Titans – 75 (74 in system, one on its way to the fight) N3/PL lost 59 titans and CFC/DTF lost 16 titans
· Titan losses by type: Gallente Erebus – 37, Amarr Avatar – 25, Minmatar Ragnarok – 13, Caldari Leviathan - 0
· Supercarriers – 13 (12 in system, one as it tried to escape the system)
· Dreadnaughts – 370 (356 in system, 14 in connected skirmishes as both sides attempted to stop the other from bringing reinforcements)
· Carriers – 123 (109 in system, 14 in connected skirmishes as both sides attempted to stop the other from bringing reinforcements)
· And lots more smaller ships and probably a bajilion drones and fighters
In comparison, the previous record for largest single battle Titan losses was a tie between battles in “O2O” and “Uemon”, with 12 total Titans destroyed in each.

In comparison, the previous record for largest single battle Titan losses was a tie between battles in “O2O” and “Uemon”, with 12 total Titans destroyed in each.
Approximately 775 doomsdays were fired, which is about 24% of all the doomsdays fired in the last two years inclusive. The Battle for HED-GP, which preceeded this one in the Halloween War, had about 200 doomsdays.
The Economic Impact
11 TRILLION ISK.
According to some PLEX conversions that could equate to approximately $300,000-$330,000 USD.

Posted 12 years agoOne week after this monstrous galactic throwdown in EVE Online, the sci-fi MMO is the scene of another humongous space battle—and it's all because of a missed bill payment.
Because this is EVE, the intrigue leading up to one of these rumbles is often more entertaining than the fight itself—especially when it gets so large that time itself has to slow down to account for all the ships in the area of operation. According to an email EVE Online sent out today, more than eight Titans—these are the real bad mofos of the EVE fleet, capable of equipping a superlaser—have already been destroyed in the Battle of System B-R5RB. The belligerents are, once again, the N3 Coalition and the Clusterfuck Coalition (CFC), with other alliances assisting both sides.
What touched off this battle? A missed bill payment, basically.
"Earlier today an alliance in the N3 coalition missed a bill payment for the system where Pandemic Legion is staging and storing their fleets," writes EVE. "This missed bill caused sovereignty to drop across the system leaving the station vulnerable to capture. Seizing the opportunity, the CFC (Goonswarm Federation, Razor Alliance, Black Legion and the Initiative) and Russian Coalition (Solar Fleet, Darkness of Despair and Against ALL Authorities) captured the station."
You might remember that CFC got its collective ass handed to it back on Jan. 18, when it decided to tangle with Pandemic Legion's "Wrecking Ball" fleet down yonder in System HED-GP. N3/Pandemic sent aforesaid Wrecking Ball into B-R5RB to retake the station, although at a smaller strength. CFC brought in "a large contingent of Dominixes, Dreadnaughts and Titans," and decided it was time to play the Feud!
Here is my favorite part of the email: "The fight is ongoing with both sides banking on their European, and soon North American, players returning from work to bolster their forces."1
You can follow it all in this Twitch livestream but I warn you, those who say EVE is like playing a spreadsheet won't be proven wrong here. With time dilation in high gear, this is not so visually arresting—except for the hilarious news crawl. (Noting, as of press time, more than 2 trillion ISK in materiel loss).
It'll be left to the victors to write history and when they do, we hope they do it with style.

It's been really hectic lately at work (Military) getting ready for upcoming inspections and at home with preparing to move the family to our next Duty Station (Sasebo, JAPAN) and the holidays etc.
I know some artists cant afford things like that to happen again and are moving to other sites. Understandable. I'll be remaining here. I might post a few things on other accounts but the majority of my work will remain here.

Honestly though, I started this page back in July just for fun and after getting a few pictures of Tabytha drawn by other artists. Shortly after I received some encouragement to start drawing for myself. So I did! I got a tablet and learned how to use SAI. I'm just having fun out here honestly and I'm glad it's bringing some happiness to others!
