Activity
Posted 6 years agoI've actually been really active lately, just not on FA. Most of it is on Discord and Twitter, so if you think I'm a corpse right now that's incorrect.
Future
Posted 11 years agoWhere do I go from here?
What do I do?
How do I get back to normal with people?
What are birds?

Posted 11 years agoMy roof burned down...and the insurance agent said it looks like I'm trying to commit insurance fraud.
Realization.
Posted 11 years agoOn looking over my half-asleep journal a few times I realized that I called myself Sylveon.
I'm fine with this.

Posted 11 years agoI am literally a lump of gay meat covered in ribbons and shades of pink.
I'm still a thing.
Posted 11 years agoI have completed my rehabilitation entirely and am once again a contributing member to society.
Time to be a pervert.

Eat your peas.

Posted 11 years agoA good amount of the people I watch or who watch me have icons that look adorable and terrified. What is scaring you, little avians and dragons and sergals and nevreans and murderous-sheep-person?
State of things
Posted 12 years agoMy leg is all mended up and in no danger of sudden horrid infection any more, the shrinks say I'm not gonna get psycho any time soon, and work has stopped. So I'm back to do what I do best, which is stare at people and do Galeacoma things.

Posted 12 years agoRemember that you are never truly alone. The air is a flowing one-way mirror, and the creatures with no eyes and yet see clearly are on the other side in their perpetually dark world, waving at you right now.
Wave back, that way they know you are not hostile.

Engage Activity
Posted 12 years agoI'm trying to become more active, in many places, because I've become idle and that's not good because I like friendship and talking and doing shit.
If anyone could recommend ways and places I could resume activity, that would be nice.

Posted 12 years agoI wondered for a second how Tarann would look as a criminal from Payday 2. Then I realized: He's already got a mask on, and it can't be taken off to hide an identity.
Restless
Posted 12 years agoI've been having nightmares lately of the bomb strike that made me lose my leg. I haven't slept in days...
I am bad about staying active.
Posted 12 years agoThough this time it was because of a blown PSU and opting for an entire build.
Confusion
Posted 12 years agoSo I just read fully and entirely into the Vilous universe, every location and race and bit of canon to read and I'm just...bwuh.
There's a LOT HERE, tons and tons and tons and TONS AND TONS AND TONS of room to grow and stuff to work with and things that can be done, but I only ever really see focus on Sergals and Nevreans.
Where are the Agudner, or the Enoca, the Judda or the Rowna, the Talyxians or even the Zess? Where is mentions of Astana or Ribenk or the Sailzane, or Korsran? What about the Nevrean home mountain of Tonruz? And The West, that's literally a blank canvas to work with! So much can happen with the Kishir Matadia mountains, even Gold Ring. What of Jakk's dead brother Black Lance, or even Jakk? Even Tatola, the Northern Sergal homelands.
Clan Shigu and Clan Reono, don't see much of that war. Don't see much of Freel and Niox Chiral (even though not canon)...
It's fantastic that parts of it took off to popularity like that, but the Old Age has so much potential...
New Age isn't even A THING ANYMORE.

Birthday!
Posted 12 years agoSo yesterday was my birthday and I celebrated with sleep and pizza-sized apple pie and a little RP and a stupid little dance, so all in all it was a good day.
Onward!
Posted 12 years agoWith everything the way it is right now (which is good) I can get back to things.
First, get back in contact with everyone I lost contact with so I can poke them at least once.
Then get back active in everything else everywhere.
Then get my beautiful metal face back out there.

Tarann Character Info
Posted 14 years agoName -- Tarann (tah-rahn [pronounced like 'con'])
Species -- Galeacoma
Age -- 26
Sex -- Male
Personality -- Diplomatic, upbeat, clever, thoughtful, patient
Likes -- Baked foods, elegant designs, a good debate, sparring, the occasional flirt, hunting down treasures
Dislikes -- Broken weaponry, very salty food, persistently-noisy individuals, getting fur singed-off
Tarann is somewhat of a silver-tongued Galeacoma (not literally, of course), having learned the art of elegance alongside combat, in both combat and speech. His battle style is fluid and swift, yet direct and fierce, each strike leading the next in. His face/mask is of a soft gold color, a result of both nature and application of metal dyes, with the exception of the natural ash-steel colored sides, and patterned with a design adhering to the ever-elegant theme of himself. Many were surprised when the spike-fanged Galeacoma child was male, suggesting a genetic lapse or uneven hormone levels during development, though as he grew it became more and more obvious he was just as much a male as the other youth he grew up and trained with. He wields the traditional bastard sword for most combat, though when the battle is even, he also carries a rapier for swift and precise combat, simply to add a little beauty to the battle. Much like his face/mask, his wings are elegantly touched-up, but not to such an exact degree, finding taking care of wings a bit rougher than all else.
Tarann doesn't fight to kill, he just fights to win. If the opponent's life need NOT be taken, there will be no death blow, but they will be wounded enough that nature will claim them in his stead soon afterwards without medical attention. For seeming like a high-held Galeacoma, his personality is approachable and kind, if a little heavy-edged towards a drive to compete and succeed. It is all in good humor though, as he is rather friendly until brought into a tense situation, then kind words are replaced by diplomacy first, and shortly afterwards, combat, should diplomacy fail. In combat, with the exception of his fluid combat style, he is completely in the mindset expected of a male Galeacoma, showing no amount of society-nurtured civility can hide pure nature. All around he could be described with the analogy of the blade: One side is safe, not dangerous, but is not entirely harmless. The other is sharp, and with but a little effort can be dangerous, even fatal.
