Mixed feelings.
Posted 5 years agoSo... hope all of you are doing well. At least those of you that read this. Those of you that don't, wish the same to you.
Either way... time for my irregularity scheduled good news/bad news.
Good news is, I have a partner finally, :ovithedragon: They mean everything to me and the feelings are mutual! Not the old "I might love you after you transition" trash I am used to.
The bad news is, I can't seem to keep myself from getting blocked by other trans women. At least once from a misunderstanding, and another time possibly for having an otherkin spin on wanting to give birth as a transwoman.
Being honest, the positive outweighs the negative by a large margin. Just really wish I could work out the conflicts.
Anyway... off again for now.

Coming Out
Posted 7 years agoSo after the events of last week, I realized that I need to start being myself. The false masculine persona I put on in public does more harm than good. So I finally started wearing women's clothing in public. My mom (who is extremely awesome btw) took me out shopping, and I have something of a starter wardrobe. :3 Only going to need some more jeans and panties. It feels so great to finally be *myself* all the time.
Of course... with all of that said, the feelings of loneliness and a need for companionship remain. I have gone and made several new friends the last week, and they are wonderful. Most of then are taken, but I knew that already. (Decided to finally make contact with several people I've wanted to be friends with, but was too shy to talk to.) Also trying to re-establish contact with friends I lost touch with.
Anyway, point is, I'm officially out. I am only going by female pronouns IRL, and will be starting on my legal name change as soon as I figure out these forms. I also will have an updated ref sheet from
halcy0n soon, too.

Posted 7 years agoWell, in regards to that last journal, finally shook the negative feelings I was dragging around. However, I do think I need to consider trying to socialize a bit again. I just need to take it slow.

Weird Dreams
Posted 7 years agoI rarely post anything here, but I do look around a lot.
The last several years have been tough, but there are small things of improvement. I have started hormones finally (been about... 5 months, I think?) Unfortunately a number of things have happened that haven't been so great. To anyone that knows me, I was in a "relationship" for a long time with someone. Who it was does not matter, and I care little to rehash it. But the point is, my belief in love has largely been destroyed. I haven't had any need for romantic love in several years. It's been a blank area, and something I cared little to "fix".
Then comes today. I fell asleep on the couch this afternoon, and was out pretty deep. Was cuddled up with my dogs, and they slept pretty well, too. Regardless... I went into a deep enough sleep to have a dream, which admittedly are rare these days, even more rare that they are "good".
I'll try to avoid getting too specific about it, but the dream actually seemed to take place over several months or years. I found myself in a three-way relationship with two others, and we were all happy together. Thing is, my mind established who these people were, and where the events took place. My mind made a detailed map of our house, where it was, and such. The people in question are real, and they are great so far as I've seen... but I also barely know them. I mean, would like to know them better, but it's not like my mind should be seeing them in this way. Anyway... not sure how it ended, but I do know I woke up to realize none of it happened, and I was crying because I felt so damn lonely for a romantic relationship. I... very realistically remember everything, and it feels like I've had my heart torn out all over again, much as I did in real life several years back.
I'm glad I had my dogs with me, because they knew I was upset and cuddled tightly with me and licked my face all up. But I was bawling like a baby and I keep crying at random with feelings of loneliness, realizing that the two people in my dream are not there, and never were. I'm angry at myself for putting myself in this awkward mental state, where I practically want to reach out to the people in question, but also know it's creepy as fuck that I even had this dream. I honestly want to wipe my mind of this, but frankly the memories are not fading, but are becoming more solidified. Almost like recovering a legitimate memory. It's not, though. No way at all.
I realize making a journal about this will only serve to remind me of this... and partially that is the point. I want to remember that I never want to feel this way again. I don't know what the hell is wrong with me, but I do know I've been hurt too many times, been used too much, and have had my heart broken badly enough that I just... can't allow myself to let this guard down. Not now, not ever.
Also, if you are the ones from my dream, and you figured out it was you... I am legitimately sorry for it. I wish it had been real, but know it was not, and I don't want to put you through this, either.

You will need to draw a large summoning circle. In the middle, you must place either two Double Baconators without mayo (the no mayo is important) OR the Red Robin classic burger, Monster-sized, with an onion bun and the dill relish, but again, no mayo. Then you must chant the magic words "Arise, Darceus, Arise!!!" until I appear.
If this doesn't work, you probably screwed up. Or there was mayo on the burger.
Anyway, hope y'all survive the next few days, I'm gonna be too busy to really be concerned with it. If you need to contact me, you probably already have my info. :P Good luck, folks. :P

Pokemon X and Pokemon Y
Posted 13 years agoSo the big announcement this time was Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, the first main series Pokemon games on 3DS, and the first games of Generation VI. :3
I had been speculating it was the case, since the anime was so close, even had some arguments with friends about it. (Pokemon is srs bsns, after all.)
Anyway, definitely excited, and really excited about the new Fire-type starter, Fennekin. <3
And... was hoping for, but surprised to hear they announced it as a simultaneous worldwide release! I don't have to import this time, not that I could with the 3DS region lock. Still, this is fantastic news, and I'm looking forward to what these games will bring to the table this time. :3

This is certainly an odd surprise, but it seems like this is our "Gray Version", I suppose this actually would even explain why there was general denying of a "third version" and a "Gray Version" straight from Masuda himself.

Supposedly it will be out in Japan in June. I guess at this point my questions become, "Are these in place of a third version?", "Does this ruin our chances of a Ruby/Sapphire remake this generation?" and "What could they possibly add to Unova to make this a proper sequel?"
Of course there are other questions, and I'm definitely excited, but I do wonder what to expect here. This announcement was little more than that, an announcement. Though I do dig the Reshiram/Kyurem and Zekrom/Kyurem fusions.

This is certainly an odd surprise, but it seems like this is our "Gray Version", I suppose this actually would even explain why there was general denying of a "third version" and a "Gray Version" straight from Masuda himself.

... you're even more worse than I thought. :/ Seriously, you cancel Mega Man Legends 3, you skip Ace Attorney Investigations 2... and then you release this... "Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3" game... you add a new Legends themed stage (Kattelox Island) but no Mega Man incarnation? You add Phoenix as a playable character? Does this make up for what you did, somehow? Ugh.
Quite honestly, this whole new game itself is a ripoff. People spent $60 not even 4 months ago for MvC3. Not even 4 months later, you release a 'better' version of it, with a ton of new content for $40. Now, of course if it's not $60, that sounds like a great deal, right? No, not really. The people who are going to buy this already bought the first version. So really, this is a $100 game, with bundled in DLC. DLC you could have added to the original game and not made the whole dealy cost $100. What is the extra money for? To fund Super Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 + International Tournament Edition?
Seriously, this is not the same Capcom I grew up with. You guys suck now. :/

Mega Man Legends 3... cancelled?
Posted 14 years agoOkay, so... I never post journals. But... I have to say this. What the hell, Capcom?
You get our hopes up, to finally have closure to one of the last open ends of the Mega Man games. Yes, it was pretty obvious you were 'done' with the series when Keiji Inafune left, but seriously, this was said already to be green lit, and that we were going to see it. One last great sendoff for Mega Man. What do you do? Quietly dismiss the fans, and abandon the project. Hell, you guys had my support through a lot of games, you had your hits and misses, but this is simply wrong. Certainly I don't feel 'entitled' to Mega Man Legends 3, but I certainly was looking forward to it.
Capcom, you are dead to me. Seriously. You used to be so cool, you were one of those companies that would do stuff because people asked you to. You brought us Tatsunoko vs Capcom FFS! That was pure fanservice right there, and you know it!
I mean, first you decide Breath of Fire is done with. Okay, no big, It's not like that was left open in some giant cliffhanger. The games we have are good, they're classics and the like. That whole Clover thing really pissed me off, Okami was, and is still one of the best games of all time (in my opinion) and you close them down. Okay, that sorta worked out for the group that went on to form Platinum Games. But I start noticing a trend in the last year. "What is with all of these Street Fighter remakes?" Well, that's about ALL you're good for anymore. Well guess what? I'm not into fighting games. :/ What else do you have? Dead Rising and Resident Evil? I'm sorry, RE never really did it for me, and Dead Rising 2 kinda put me off on any more Dead Rising. So... effectively, you guys suck. Seriously, I haven't got anything witty or even mildly smart sounding to say. Plain and simple, you guys suck.
