It is late, about 12 am on a cold still night in Metro Detroit when the police had pulled my Cheyenne over. I waited calmly as the officer returned after running my plates and ID.

"Everything checks out, now why, Mr. Ghost, are you out here in the middle of the night?"

"Oh you didn't hear? Adrian Jamaal White got out of jail."

After reaching for his sidearm the officer squealed, "sir get out of the car, NOW."

...later that night at the Westland Police department...

"Now after searching your vehicle, we found a few items..."

"What, did you find my utility knife?..You know i have been searching for that."

"HEY, stop playing around! we know what was in your trunk. Now why in the hell were you driving around this part of town with a Light .50 in your trunk? That's some pretty high tech hardware, son."

"I bought it legally, whats the issue here, officer?"

After a brief silence, the piggy raised his voice rapidly..."The ISSUE is that I have two mangled bodies in over 69 Evidence bags! NOW YOU...TELL ME...WHY?"

"What do you possibly think that i had anything to do with it?!"

After a short silence...I sat silently...

As the officer stood up and walked towards the only door leading out of this interrogation room, "wait."

He turned, and gazed over me..."What.Happened.Tonight?"

Giving off a sigh "Alright...It was self defense..."

As he sits back down in his chair across the silver metal table. "Self Defense?"

"Then you tell me what they did to make you defend your self."

"He had a Knife, the other had a gun."

"Thats when you shot them?"

"No."

"When they faced me."

"So wait, how did you feel threatened if they werent even looking at you?

"Excuse me, Mr. Ghost." As he pulled back his chair and took two steps towards the door to open it...Him and another man whispered through the crack of the door...it closed...as he arrived he asked, "Are you missing any information your keeping from me?"

"No. Ive told you all you've asked."

"Really? 'cause you seemed to have missed out the part where you were 2.4 kilometers away from the victims!" He threw a Zippo lighter at the metal table top. "we found this in an abandoned building...the angle matches the trajectory from the building where that was found to the point of impact on the cement...not to mention the black and red rain splatter to the next city over...Your guilty! Now WHAT HAPPENED?"

"It was Self defense. They had weapons."

"From 2.4 Kilometers away?"

"Yup...."

For about the past year now I've been in really deep thought about joining the army...After finally waking up to a conclusion. i know now what is my calling.

About 15 minutes ago i woke up from a nightmare. Im going to keep the contents of that nightmare to myself, but I will say that it has made my decision final now...After thinking hard and doing research all this time, ive come to realize; Id be joining for all the wrong reasons. The reason why i would've joined is because of the pay and how it would be a good start on life. truth is, from what ive seen and heard, it just wouldn't be worth it for that reason alone. However, that isn't what stopped me.

As many of you know i have a boyfriend, but even fewer of you know how we met, or how drastically he really changed the course of my life. Its safe to say id be dead right now if we hadn't met...by the most amazing chain reaction of events that occurred 2 years prior that led up to one single point of us crossing paths on night...Without him Id be nothing once again, which leads to the most prominent reason why ive decided to leave any thoughts of enlistment behind.

If i was to die, if something was to happen to me, what would happen to him?
If something happened to him while i was away, if he was to die, what do i have to live for?
A lot of questions like that popped up...After that nightmare it made me realize what is right. I will not go to some foreign land to risk my life and potentially his just so i can make minimum wage...I understand that people join for there own reasons; whether it be for patriotism, or whatever else...but i personally would not join for my country, i wouldn't join for the president, i wont join for the people in foreign lands, I would just join for the money, and the very little i would make just wouldnt be worth it.

There is plenty more to this and why ive come to this conclusion but it would take a long ass time to type all that out. In short, my reasons to join wouldnt be the right ones. I know my responsibilities now, what my calling is. Its right here with my boyfriend, getting a house together and always being there for eachother. If there ever comes a time that i need to pick up a weapon when shit hits the fan. I want to be here with him, not there. I could still go on forever about why i feel this is the choice im making but in truth, I would just start to not make sense...im tired, and my thoughts are still a bit jumbled.

Dont get me wrong, I respect all branches of the armed forces of all nations, but this just isnt my calling. Not anymore.

I think i make these too often...but anyways...

So a lot of you know i do security here and there and i am working to be a Private Military Contractor and kinda in a struggle with it. I am still planning on joining the army for a good start, and would look good on a resume if i wish to continue the contracting...I guess im talking about after though.

I have a lot of plans in my life right now, all of them involving my "Oneandonlylover" (<3 loves youuuuuu)...but in terms of a career, here and there I slip into thinking of another career I really do think about here and there, besides the Contracting and i really would love all of your opinions on it.

So besides the Contracting...I was thinking on...get this...being a model.

I really wanted your opinions on this, and none of that BS "i know you can/good luck" crap X3. i want your real opinions and why please? It would mean a lot to me.

Though for all of you who know me as that bad-ass...don't you think for a second im not considering the contracting...cause i am.

Good or Bad, tell me what you think of me becoming a model? like...underwear or something...not really sure, tell me if you have any experience please?

As many of you know, and maybe some of you I have ended up using my kit on, but i have a medical kit the size of a medium dog that I carry around with me whether it be at home, on road trips, and most certainly at conventions... Well i often get the bitter-sweet luxury of using this medical kit when it is needed, and as much as i do enjoy helping people out and sparring them from the shitty con staff typical first aid kits, it does get rather expensive to keep up.

Ive used my kit for anything from someone with a head or stomach ache, to dehydration, to a rolled ankle, to a raved out knee, to victims in a 3 car pile-up along m-53 north here in Michigan...there have been many more but that's whats its ranged from...With as much as i do all this, it becomes rather hard to upkeep with all of the expenses of medical supplies. Cause let me tell you, quick-clot along with everything medical isn't cheap...

So i guess what im asking is, if you'd like to donate even a dollar or two to this fund it would be much appreciated. I'm not doing this to make money for myself or my own means, this medical kit is for those who have or will need it in the future.

I may not work every con officially, but my job never ends.

For those of you who know Cheyenne, Her and i have been through hell and back. took a vacation there even. we have awesome times. driving endlessly at night and making roadtrips even for no real reason other than we could. Sometimes even 500 miles through the night. During the day as much as 800!...but tonight you see, we only traveled 15 or so. why? cause she treated me to getting some wendy's. she knew i craved it tonight...the night was chill...until we ended a police chase! SUCK IT BMW DRIVER >:3

Yeah we really have been through a lot...but on a side note. cats are dumb in the real world. no street smarts...Decided to cross the road, at NIGHT, When Cheyenne was Stampeding at 70mph, at still decided, "OH! there aren't enough mice to eat on this side of the field! ill just go on that side while i see that big loud thing is moving right at my little body!...NOW!" And it darts across the road, i try to avoid it by swerving into the empty oncoming traffic lane...BUT NO, F**king cat had a death wish and ran straight back into the path of Cheyennes BulletProof, Titanium-reinforced, tires...Dont get me wrong, i feel bad. but not really. Survival of the fittest and Cheyenne>Cat...OH! and later that night I also flattened a balled up raccoon.

So last two nights have been a little more adventure for Cheyenne and I. God i love that car. to death do we part.

Like most people money is becoming tight between cons and everything else...I have three cons lined up for the coming months.
First and closest is Furfright in middle October. My issue with this con is the travel and travel expenses; everything else can be taken care of...if anyone know some one who is going in the Michigan tri state area let me know. i do plan to drive cause the train and bus is giving me hassle plus i have intentions to rock my bass hard for 12 hours...yes it is a 12 hour drive, and approximate cost will be around 300-400 there and back. that includes toll booths, gas, and maybe parking (depending if hotel charges). i will be most likely staying in the con hotel. honestly though, i am just looking for a travel buddy to split costs, and driving, if needed.

Second con in question, really is not, which is Youmacon 2011 here in Detroit. I do security for a few cons and this being one of em...it honestly shouldn't cost me a dime for this one so this stays no matter what...will most likely be staying with my unit.

third is Midwest Furfest in later November. Driving there with at least 2 friends maybe a third if he can make it. taking 2 separate cars most likely. So gas for my car will only cost around $60-$100 tops for there and back gas, tolls, and parking.
room i am not sure how much yet but i believe we are splitting it.

Then there is the cost of the con badges for the whole weekend...so around lets just say another $70 encase...so if i go to all three, that is a lot of money. however the alternative is me skipping a con or 2 unfortunately.
Reason why i would skip is to save money, for rifles, ammunition and general Gear, is one very good reason. Then there is normal daily expenses...hmmm... but i guess general expenses has no matter either way. So either save money from cons for equipment and all my furry ideas..or...save money from equipment and furry ideas and frequent the cons...very tough call...though i would like to get my fursona badges. damn. choices.

I guess the reason why i am making this is to evaluate my options and if anyone cared to give some advice/personal input...at this point i am hoping i find diamonds and sell my...wait...

SO! If anyone here is a musician of any sorts, I have been trying to sell a 16inch Viola that is in prime condition. comes with case, bow, rosin i believe (my moms rat may have ran off with it years ago) and obviously a viola. it hasn't been touched it ages but i assure you it is in like new condition. ill even let you play it if you want...we got it for around 1400-1600, somewhere around there. ut i would love to get rid of it even for $600-$700. definitely negotiable, i guess itd be better anyway if it was played again by someone!

In any case, i guess i am in a Pickled Cucumber...any input?

Im going to be without any way of internet communication for about 4-6 weeks where im going...catch you all on the flip side! dont worry, Ghost doesn't die.

Issues with travel...if anyone lives around me, even a state over; maybe we can arrange some type of carpool to save?

I have a very luxerious car for travel, my only problem is the funds to get there and back. my car will be able to get there from MI in 12 hours...in terms of gas, it would only be about 3-4 tanks. 3 definitely if it wasnt for driving around the city at furfright.

Thank you EVERYONE for the best con out of all of my cons that i have experienced so far! Anthrocon 2011 is truly the best; And thank you all the city of Pittsburgh with its kind, open-minded people and the city's furry themed restaurants and bars...everything was just great.

As for my con experiences!...

I did my usual thing at cons, walked around everywhere at met people. I met so many people at this con that i set out for a goal...Know all those i meet and there names by heart! though i may not have remembered all of those that i met, i have remembered a great deal of you. however there was a bit of you i wish i remembered! A purple hyena with the ending name of sable being one of em if any of you know her.

Amongst all of you awesome people i met, some special shout outs go to a few of you...

Keeatah, Hoofen, Devdaul, Drakonicknight, Onai...if it wasnt for you my stay here at the con may have been miserable cause of my lack of food, drink, and...FREBREEZE. (comesback to re-edit 5 minutes later) OMG i almost for got the three person massage that was probably better than sex! omg that was ridiculous!


Two lads i met at the con that we grew real tight with each other was my fellow h[awt]yena Bazeel and He who knows all best, Tweak! If you guys are reading this, you two know i don't smoke, but we should sure as hell meet up for another smoke-break sometime! Bane, Perry, Aurum, and that group of friends you know who you are <3 i hope i meet you all at other cons because i wont forget any of you (though i seem to have forgotten some of your names X3 i do so regret it).

San & Shoop! If it wasnt for you two there is no way i couldve made AC 2011! Your house was so homy it quickly became as if it was my own. I loved your cooking and i did enjoy the time that i actually was there!...which makes me think. how many times did i actually sleep there? i think it was just one? orrrrr, one and one half? plus, not gonna lie, i miss the cool cat. Speaking of cool, i love your mom San! and shoop, your setup of everything baffles me still, its awesome!

Now i know i have already mentioned these two but i think i need to mention them again for something else...Bane and Tweak. You two being my unofficial handlers was too awesome, pretty much never leaving side and helping me at every turn! hell you guys wouldve carried me to the headless lounge if needed and one of you actually did like a wounded soldier! man, you two i could never forget!. NEV-VER.

Though if it wasnt for these next people i wouldnt of gotten home simply by either not having enough money, or by helping me not fall asleep by getting me energy. Shade, Val, Hoofen, i owe you all so much for helping me get home safe. if any of you care to know...i got home with $1.35 left in my coin stash in my car and nothing left in my wallet.

As far as experience in events go, there was a tanked 30 year old or so lady from Pittsburgh that was all over my friend Bazeel X3. After talking with an elderly lady about furries and the whole fandom and her finding out her daughter is a furry and she loved it, A squad car rolls around the corner with its lights on and my first thought is "yeah...this one's for me..."...the two officers came up and as soon as they saw me you could see the look on there face, "what are we doing here, this is ridiculous, he has ears >_>". we talked for a bit and then they were off, no hassle or anything. apparently someone had called about a person in military aperatous was walking around 6th and liberty. they knew i was from the con and everything and they just didnt care, plus not to mention it seemed like half the block was already there saying to the officers they would give a witness statement saying i didnt do anything. i love you guys Pittsburgh <3 but in all honesty, the tanked 30 year old story is the best!

In ending i just want to add one more thing. I mustve gotten at least a dozen people from Pittsburgh streets who knew nothing of the fandom, to go to the con with me and they ended up being furry ^^ bless the people of Pittsburgh. Anthrocon 2011 is my favorite con thus far! im thinking my next con will be at FurFright this october! see you there!

found some good people to stay with at there house for cheap. staying there 6 days. Definitely happy, and i was supposed to leave 5 minutes ago....CYA!

Okay, I am really considering going but i however don't have a room. I don't mind splitting rooms with people, i mean i take up very little space and may not even be in the room for sleep most days. Of course id chip in, i have a ride there and 3 extra very roomy spaces in my warhorse named Cheyenne (My car). Plenty of trunk room, even after all my tactical gear, clothing, and i lot of other stuff that makes you ask "WTF?!"...but regardless, i can fit tons.

I guess all im looking for is a nice warm corner to sleep and put my stuff in, and yes please a shower.

Also...what is Anthrocon's rules for props; more specifically weapons?...After all, id like to have my Akasa with me.
Also Also...Is Pre-Reg worth it?
Also Also Also...I live in Lower Peninsula of Michigan.
