So I've been thinking about Metal: Hellsinger again. It's... an okay shooter? It's got some balance issues, some design issues (imo) here and there like those god-awful shield enemies, but what makes it a BLAST to play is the fucking awesome music lineup they have? I have no idea how the studio got the vocal talent and musical talent they did, they did an awesome job.
And, unfortunately, that studio no longer exists because the game industry is a nightmare where people make games that are liked and get shut down a few years later for it. I'm sad I'm probably not gonna see anymore Hellsinger content.

Burial at Night and Dream of the Beast are the two tracks stuck in my head at the moment. This is the End, This Devastation, and Acheron are all fantastic tracks.
Actually pretty much the entire OST is great, so I could just name the whole thing.

(The chorus for Dream of the Beast is so fucking good, aaaaaaaa)

I just felt like bitching about this god-awful age verification law. Like, look, it's probably a good thing to stop people under the age from getting access to certain things online. In fact, I'd wager there's even a RIGHT way to do it that isn't a huge violation of safety and privacy. This, though, isn't it.

Oh, you're an adult who mostly hangs around other adults on Discord, and there's a lot of pretty casual 18+ Interactions? Fuck you, give me your passport.
Oh, you wanna buy games on steam? Lmao, go get a credit card loser. Debit cards don't count. GO GET A CREDIT CARD.
It goes deeper than this, obviously. But these are my biggest frustrations at this current moment.

Hey! Nothing serious here, just a bit of a tangent and some frustrations is all.

To start: Man, the creative process sure is something isn't it? I'm not sure how people DO this stuff - I keep hitting the 'ol roadblock of "Nothing is coming to me." after having a cool idea. Happens a lot with my writing, I find. Kinda makes it hard to create new characters and their stories and worlds xD

Secondly: I think I might be somewhat obsessed with Frostpunk 1 and 2. For a good time now, I've actually wanted to make a sort of... Automaton OC styled after the Frostpunk 1 automatons (I love the big steppy boys, they truly are a beacon of hope in that frozen hell, endlessly toiling 'midst the storm that would cleave tissue from bone.), and with my recent completion of Frostpunk 2's story, and several Utopia Builder playthroughs...
Oh no, I'm hit with the need to make a Frostpunk 2 character - handily helped by 11 bit studios releasing official cosplay guides. I don't have the skills to make a cosplay, but the document does serve as a pretty good reference for making a character...

Hello, if you're reading this. One of my characters is coming along nicely, that one being Alihx, and I'm once again finding myself at the point where I ask "Huh, I'd like to get some art."
Now, this isn't. A set in stone thing? I might, I might not. I kinda suck at getting at with people I don't know well - but if you do have any ideas, or would like something, shoot me a message! Lets brainstorm something.

(Note: this is not me *asking* for an artist to come to me with a proposition, I'm just brainstorming potential things with people/characters that catch my eye.)

Just what the title says, really! Kinda missed having a 'stream of consciousness' place to say shit. Plus it feels less, formal? I hate interactions of FA, the noting system and everything involved makes me a little stressed when I just want to casually talk to people or say "Hey, nice character!" (which is a thing I've been wanting to say to someone lately.)

Though, I might not. Twitter made me feel pretty shitty after awhile, took longer than I'd like to realise that!

I don't think I really ever got much attention on any of art I own or any of my characters, so it's a little flattering xD I'll delete this specific journal soon enough, don't want it clogging up things I actually want up here.
