HELLO EVERYONE

Just had the weirdest conversation that ended up with someone blocking me, but... now I'm in a bit of a weird spot with my thoughts, so I figured I would write them down to get them out of my head LOL

Just to posit this as both a set of questions and as a summary of the conversation, is it wrong to think that artists, when commissioned, should be compensated appropriately for their time and effort? And, by that same token, is it wrong to think that those who commission art from artists are also permitted their discretion, to shop around and find what they like best based on both their tastes and budget? I dunno, the person I was talking to certainly didn't seem to think so, which left me feeling a bit... frustrated? I'm obviously not going to name names, but it gave me a bit to think about... I figured that I'd just throw this question out into the ether, see what comes back ^^;
