I'm testing the waters on taking commissions, currently for "regular" commissions, I've just got those pixel portraits available. More details here: https://www.furaffinity.net/commissions/teax/

And there's another small sequence of very NSFW artwork by a different artist that I don't think I'll be uploading myself, as it's, uh, quite harsh and niche. Will be 64x64 by default, but if you want to use these for something that's not an integer multiple of 64, let me know and I might try to accommodate.

Art piece idea
Posted 2 years agoI'm sure most around here have seen the seasonal gift-wrapped characters. The twist (which has probably been done before) is to replace the ribbons with a noodley character, like a snake or eastern-style dragon.
Has the potential pretty horny picture, but I'm thinking it might be more interesting to have it non-lewd, or at least mostly innocent. There're many pictures where a noodley character uses their body to restrain another, so I'm thinking this case would be better to emphasize the whole gift idea. Or possibly play it as some actual ribbony gift wrapping gone horriblywrong right.
Unfortunately, I haven't a suitable noodle, so I don't think I'll be getting something like this anytime soon, but feel free to steal the idea.

Nyria Dakimakura/Body Pillow?

So, I've been asked about a Nyria body pillow and, while I don't think I'll be getting myself such an actual, physical, real-world object any time soon, I'm not opposed to having a pattern available for other people who might want to snuggle a DeiTea. But! I don't know much about how these things work, as far as the ordering goes. I mean, commissioning the digital image itself should be straightforward, it's the turning it into an actual pillow(case), that I'm not sure about. I don't want to deal with ordering a bunch, having to store them at my home, and ship them out myself as orders slowly, maybe trickle in. I'm guessing that at least some artists either have storefronts where you can order dakis directly through them? Maybe other artists will just allow you hand out the full-res image file to interested parties so they can take it to their preferred pillow printer and have it made themselves?
I guess I've got three main questions:
1. Do you have any recommendations for dakimakura artists? For context, the original inquiry came up with this image. Personally, I think a daki by Smile would look amazing, but unfortunately, she's unavailable to me for the foreseeable future. Also, not actually sure if she even does dakis. I am thinking someone with a similar ultra-soft style would be preferable, though.
2. Do any of you have experience with commissioning a body pillow design and making available to the public? How did it go? What's important that I should know? There's a few artists watching me, any of you have experience with this from the artist's side?
3. How many of you would be interested in this and what would you like to see on a Nyria body pillow? The "how many" is just curiosity, since you'll have to order the physical items yourselves, but the content is important. Currently just have an idea for the front: Nyria lying back with a cup of tea. That seems like a fine idea, though I'm interested in hearing other ideas for the front. Also need ideas for the back. And in general: Clothed? Lingerie? Nude with (in)convenient censors? Hyper-lewd?

Posted 2 years agoBeing a bit less mysterious than my previous journal, I'm thinking of doing a raffle type thingy for Nyria's "birthday" on June 30th (Is it actually her canonical birthday? I haven't decided, but it is the day I got the first finalized artwork from Fortuna.)
The raffle would be for some art of your character with Nyria, fully paid by me. The winner would be selected on June 30th, and the actual art would be made afterwards.
But what would interest people most?
1. I come up with an idea and an artist and raffle off a mostly pre-designed YCH-style piece.
2. Come up with several ideas, maybe some or all from the audience, and vote on what's most liked, then raffle off the winning idea.
3. Just hold the raffle and the winner brings their own idea (subject to some limitations). In this case, there would be some back and forth discussion with the winner to make sure we're both happy with the idea.
4. Something else?
