Usually, I'd do a comic to bring more attention to this, but considering my lack of productivity the last couple months that would be very unfair to the folks in my queue. As such I'll just make a statement here.

I was kind of miffed to see furries in the comments worried more about the admittance of there being a sexual side to the fandom than the fact at least one kid and possibly more got raped. Really, dudes?

Anyway, there are local furs who actually slept over at this guys house who are horrified beyond belief at this development. It really hits home that this can happen anywhere. It makes me wonder how many people saw this little kid get whisked away upstairs at a party and said nothing.

Do not let some kind of silly fandom loyalty get in the way of doing the right thing. Like any large group, there are unfortunately going to be bad people among us. To borrow a phrase from the department of homeland security: "If you see something, say something." Better to be mistaken than to have something like this pop up later and realizing you could have prevented it.

It's all I seem to be able to do to get myself to draw lately. :/

What the title says! Sorry I've been busy.

Background for most of you who have no idea what this is about: It's been proposed that an online artist with a skechy past, Shmorky, was moonlighting around FA for years as peachesthepuppy/sandypants. I was mentioned by name as someone both were watching in a forum post offsite.

If Sandy/Peaches was Shmorky, I didn't know about it. My interactions with both of them were limited to LJ, the occasional stream she came to, and here. She made me gift art, and commissioned me on a few occasions. If we're 100% and without getting into personal dumb details, I've never been fond of Shmorky and would not have interacted with them of my own volition otherwise.

So, yeah. Just setting that record straight. I have no new info for you.

ETA: I thought it would be obvious I was being purposefully vague to keep things simple. If you don't know who Shmorky is or what the issue is, Google it. That way you can draw your own conclusions.

Took a week off, let's do dis.

Unfortunately my schedule is changing at work. My new days off will be Sunday/Monday and I will be working at night.

This means streams would move to those days off. I hope at least some of you can still join me in spite of that, as I've enjoyed the regulars who come to watch.
