update 22/01/24 refined the entire journal since i'm opening commissions again. yippee!
ON BACKGROUNDS [22/07/21]
Commissions can either have a flat grey or gradient background or even a fancy abstract pattern effect. please make an inquiry on which one you would like with your commission! Transparent images are also made available.
[NEW] [2024] I'm also able to do simplistic background props/scenes. this will be an additional on your commission quote.
ON QUOTE COMMISSIONS [NEW] [2024]
[ What defines having a complex character? ]
NOTE: complex character = Additional price increase on commission
- Species with more limbs than four limbs - Or "Hexapodal" creatures: Namely dragons, but is also reserved for centipede-athropod-like creatures which have heavy detail on the plates/exoskeleton and how many tens of legs they have
- Complex markings such as "Outlined stripes" being a defined feature on the design
- Character armor and biomechanical parts
- Extra attention given to the osteoderms and scale detail or armored plates of said creature - For a visual reference for this, think of The Isles' hyperendocrine dinosaur designs.

ON CUSTOM DESIGNS [22/01/24] [NEW] [2024]
- Custom commissions are a huge collaborative effort between me and (You - the commissioner) and it makes it a lot easier for me if you have a strong initial concept for what you want already in mind before even commissioning me. So! Please come with character inspo/aesthetic boards/palette inspiration/themes/ect. the more you have prepared the better, do not be afraid to spam my dms with what you have in mind. The more stronger your concept is the easier (and quicker) it is for me to work with!
- Early on in the custom design process I will present you with at least 3 different design concepts in early sketch form, the design concepts you do not go with are Up to be reused by me, the artist. you do not hold rights over the early sketch concepts you discarded. If you desire to perhaps commission me again in the future to reuse one of the sketch concepts I presented you with, make sure you ask me directly!
TIMES
[NEW] [2024] Personally I've always set my goal to finish every commission within four weeks of accepting it, sometimes this goal may not be met. (depending on commission complexity, ect) but the commissioner will always be made aware of this.
Commissioner will be updated throughout the process, from the first initial concept sketch phases to the final render.
DISCORD
For custom design commissions and ref sheet commissions, I have a discord messaging requirement. This is so we can discuss the back-and-forth in a clean and easy fashion without the clunkyness of a sites' DM function.
EMAIL
[NEW] [2024] Commissioner will receive the full .png of the commissioned artwork through the email that they sent me for the invoice.
MY RIGHTS
- I hold the rights of my art, meaning that I'm allowed to upload the artwork that I have drawn, commissioned by you, to various galleries and use them for further commission examples in the future. Commissioning me means that you agree to this.
- This also counts if you decide to commission me as "Anonymous."
FINAL RENDER
[NEW] [2024] - After the Official final render has been given and has been officially received by you, no more changes can be made without making a small additional fee.
it is up to You. to notice any small error that I may have made before having the final render be given.
CRITIQUE
[NEW] [2024] Critiquing my artwork really helps during the concept and sketch phases of the commission, redlining helps most of all.
REVISIONS
-Feel free to ask for minor revisions/alterations at any time during the commission process.
Major revisions such as character posing must be issued during the sketch / early lineart phase.
ARTWORK
- When giving me visible examples of your characters for art please make sure the following applies:
- no big watermark that distorts the image; makes it hard to colourpick (*cough* *cough* like the toyhouse logo *cough* *cough*)
- avoid sending low quality images that make it hard for me to colourpick
- avoid sending images that have distortion, visible noise or textured grainyness over them for colouring reference. (again, this makes it hard to use the eyedropper.)
- unshaded examples of artwork are most ideal for an accurate colour palette
CILENT RIGHTS
- Cilent has free range to do as they please with the art after it has been completed (reupload it / use it as an icon, banner, ect)
Reuploading to furaffnity; character archiving sites requires that you keep the signature on the image and source me as the artist. this also counts on toyhouse with crediting me as the creator/character designer
REFUSAL
- I have the rights to refuse any commission.
COMMISSION SLOTS
I have 3 slots for commissions. commissions are done in order of number.
So if you are commissioner number 2 or 3 please expect your commission to take at least a little longer, your patience really helps!
AI
- You cannot use my art for any type of ai system.
- I do not accept commissions from people who work with AI
- I am against AI in general. do not associate with me if you like that kind of thing.
