SO, it's been a hot minute, or a hot hour rather, and seems I fell off in general and off the face of the earth there for a bit. I'm back now though, and in the process of trying to get myself accustomed to returning to these parts.

... I know it shouldn't, because it's been two years already, but DAMMIT it feels like ever since 2023 brought on medical issues and left me financially struggling on and off since, things have been rough especially with how last year ramped up survival mode on my end to the point it just left me so uninspired and borderline lacking hope with motivations and morale low to the point I just felt massive burnout for a lot of 2024 up until the last few months.

It's like, HEY my body ain't dealing with bullshit pains anymore, THAT'S GREAT, but then ADHD kicked up SO MANY NOTCHES as a result from consistently needing to barely make what I need to at the end of each month, that my mind was so intent on just SURVIVING that it stopped paying attention to art, and then started bringing anxiety out all over again that my attention spun toward alleviating THAT next when need be that I was left mentally spread thin.

Somewhere along the way, a lot just fell flat with art, and it sucks that it happened to the thing I love doing. At the end of 2024 however, I was starting to chip away bit by bit with some slightly renewed vigor, and am resolute to make do with what I need to, and same goes to what I owe. SO, throughout the bs it seems like I'm FINALLY, but slowly, getting shit together.

I'm tired of messing up, mentally and with what I want to do. I keep holding myself back just because of having to survive ends meet, just because of tiny distractions, just because it feels like one little thing is too much, but screw it. I'm DONE, but not in a bad way.

I've just gotten so accustomed to being silent, that I'm sick of being quiet. Time to start having a presence here again, time to start growing, changing, and stop living in anxiety, fear, burnout, and all those other worthless shitty feelings that weighed me down ever since 2023

I said I was going to post backlog sometime back, and that's one of the first things I'll be working toward now that I want to be around here once more.

For those that I owe, as I said already, I am resolved to do what needs be.

Speaking of owing, I owe a lot to my partner who kept me sane for most of the last two years and kept my head on as best as they can.

Was using most of the month to do spooky stuff in between other things, and put the Tiela train on hold for that. However, now that Halloween has passed I'll be resuming Tiela posting since there's still a handful of stuff, including some old stuff y'all haven't seen of her, and some new stuff, and some spooky stuff with her having to do with Creep-ify

Not much to say with this update here, other than the spooky stuff is coming but it's taking a bit. Meantime, I've been posting backlog of stuff that was done way earlier this year and some stuff last year and such. I'll even dig into 2021 if I have to, I'm just done leaving so much unposted. It's been a while since I not only wrote a journal, but dusted this page off for I don't even remember how long. So, if it matters to anyone still alive around here or anyone STILL watching or following, I've got to explain what has happened over the last few months and why my return was more or less delayed, as was my morale delayed of wanting to post backlog again.

SO, a lot of folks in my circle on Discord already know my situation but fuck it, what's one more place? Y'all deserve to know too, especially for being so patient on this dead af page xD;

Sometime back in February, which I'm now pretty much just deeming a cursed month for me, I had to deal with some pains. At the start of this month, the pain increased to the point where one particular day after work, I just had it so consistently and so severely that I had to go to the hospital. It was there I got diagnosed with a kidney stone, which I took a week or so off work to get to pass, and also gallbladder calculus, or gallstones. So since the first half of the month, I had to take it easier than normal, and though I can't do much heavy lifting with how my gallbladder is, I've been alive again more or less. Just been making sure that I don't end up with pain that was just like that one after that shift. Just, no. DO NOT WANT AGAIN.

On top of that, I've made a decision to resign from the job I work at quite soon. I've had enough patience with it and I've already mentioned to folks close in my circle about why. :U mind is made up
Guess in turn that means I WILL definitely be around more, so hey, guess that's a silver lining for y'all? I also wanted to make sure I finished enough stuff now to start posting again so there's that.

Not much else left other than, three days from now it will be my birthday xD no reason to say that. Just felt like putting in some good news

All in all, Halloween themed art this year in general was plentiful, and I enjoyed it a lot. It feels like I was heavily unchained since there was no Inktober or anything like that to try obligating myself too. On the other hand, work got busy as hell so that decided to hinder me more than I care to let it @_@ I always struggle with work balance but you all know this already. With that said, expect more Halloween late spooky stuff being posted gradually as the days go.

I still also have my own Creep-ify themes of my characters to post, so look forward to that too! Along with more backlog because I'm a horrible dragon who needs to post ALL THE THINGS.

And now here I am mulling over a side thought to go with next month's theme. I kind of want to bring back winter themed color sketches like this lot here, though maybe with a sketch-page spin on things, making it basically Pay-What-You-Want

Another thought was making the sketches catered to also characters or sonas that had the ice element, and on the other spectrum, fire element themed for folks who don't enjoy winter or the cold as much. Again, I'm still thinking. I may just throw all of these at once knowing me but who knows?

I think I'm finally starting to get my own rhythm. I feel like it's not as erratic as it seemed before, and frankly, if I can keep this up, it would be awesome. I'll be updating some more stuff and submitting more stuff as time goes, but for the most part, I've been mostly active in my Facebook art page. I'll post links mostly in the profile so any passing by can check it out for themselves.

I'll also be making a twitter to branch out more, and telegram for sticker sets, and as it seems those are a hot ticket, I'll try my hand in that. I've made a Ko-Fi and Patreon, but need to stay consistent, so i'll be offering those links as well.

I've stopped using Skype for the time being, and moved to Discord, so if you know me then message me or see my social contact for my Discord. Or if you want to just know me in general, then go for it. I message as often as I can between art and whatnot xP

I didn't die, but it does seem to be a thing where I end up getting a pause in between posting stuff here, and keeping it up mind you. I have a dA page, and I have an art page on FB too, which is sorta sfw as far as most content goes.

When you think about it though, I mainly post commissions here, which are also few and far in between, hence the inactivity. I've been doing some stuff for here too, that's not commissioned, buuuuut it's not much. STILL.

I'm open for emergency commissions right now though, especially since my job decided to cut my hours. That's no fun, and in pursuit of a hot lead of a job, I'm "in between" occupations.
