New Region and Projects
Posted 5 years agoJust for my own record-keeping and for watchers that are interested:
Goals and current projects:
-Reorganizing my collection of hand-drawn concepts and completed work. (I have a ton of custom work and fanart I want to eventually cleanup for posting)
-Building content for a pokemon region, one I've played with in local role-playing games off and on but have decided to share with a larger audience for fun and ideas~! (Mostly to encourage myself to practice more and build my confidence back up.)
-Finish my next Base! (I had way too much fun with the Kobold one and now I'm addicted. QwQ I hope people like it, they're hard to make user friendly!)
-Try to post/interact with my watchers and artists I follow more. My social anxiety shouldn't stop me from reaching out. (Hardest one here.)
-Finish commission pricing and post.
Full disclosure: my husband lost his job right before the fires started where we live. Smoke drove us out of our house for a bit, but we've still been job searching. My back injuries make it impossible to work outside the home at this time and difficult even now. We'll be okay on rent and probably food until the end of October, but if we can't find a job before then....I don't know if we can keep the house, which is already cheaper than apartment rent where we live. We're kind of screwed. So...if I disappear it was fun. I'll be back if I can.

I lost all confidence the second I opened this journal, but I need to finish it so here we go.
I've got a few commissions to finish, then I'm going to start just....uploading. I've got a backlog of art that I want on here. I've been terrified to start because so many things have been stolen from me in the past, but I've got mounting debt, a back that's half-functional now, and an itch to draw.
I hope I can make you all proud/happy. Special thanks for

Draikar for being both patient and persistent with me the last few years of my recovery.
I've got a lot to learn and a lot to fight. Let's get started.
