So about yesterday...
Posted 4 years agoAs most of you might have figured out already, yesterday's announcements were simply April Fool's pranks. There's no way I'm vaulting any of my characters XD
That being said, while the Heksile dating simulator is unfortunately fake, the prospect of me making visual novel content is very real and very exciting for me! Granted I have a lot to learn regarding the coding aspect of it, but working along the lines of something like that sounds really fun!
Now this isn't me promising anything, it may be a while before something even pops up, just want to show you guys my interest. That being said, you guys have anything to tell me? Could be ideas for a VN or just tips on how to make them, lemme know! Any feedback is appreciated :)

Commissions Opening Tomorrow + New TOS!
Posted 5 years agoSo I've been thinking about this for a while, and I think it's time to officially open up comms again! Slots go live tomorrow, but I figured you guys would appreciate a heads up.
Plus I have an updated TOS, nothing drastically changed, but still worth a look, especially if you're looking to save a few bucks!
It’s pretty easy! All you have to do is come up with an idea for a story, then fill out the form below, once you do I’ll get in contact with you! For now I’ll be working on a first come first served basis, meaning I will work on stories as they’re sent in.
Starting now I’m going to be offering different variations of commissions! Nothing too drastic between the choices,
Standard: The normal type of commission I offer when slots open. Word count, themes, and pricing are discussed beforehand.
Wing-It: For those who want a story but are unsure of how long they want it to be. This commission allows me to write as long or as short I think is necessary. A max word limit can be discussed, as I tend to get carried away XD Due to the conditions of this type of commission, I will only be accepting one wing-it per commission batch.
Impromptu: You want a story from me even if I’m not open at the moment? Send me a note or a DM! We can talk about your idea and if I like it I’ll open the form for you. I may not accept every offer however. The same rules from the standard commission apply here.
I’ll be working at a rate of $0.01 a word, meaning every 1000 words will equate to $10. For example, a 2100-word commission would cost $21.
If you are looking to stretch your word count just a bit, you can round out your word count by 500 words at a discounted price. For example, a 2500-word story would only cost $23 instead of $25.
With each commission batch I’ll be offering a theme, and if your story matches the theme you’ll get a 10% discount.
Payment can be made whenever, including immediately after the commission is ordered or after I’ve pinged you when the story is complete. However, until payment is received you will not receive any work.
I only use PayPal for payment.

Should you wish for minor edits I would be more than happy to do so. Just let me know what needs to be done and I’ll get on it.

Posted 5 years agoSo I know I'm not the best at updating with journals, but that being said I'm blown away at the fact that there's three hundred peeps following me here! I'm glad that you guys like my stories and what I post here. While I don't have any giveaways planned, I am very appreciative for each and every one of you. <3

Discussion on Story Length
Posted 5 years agoI've gone about this subject on Twitter but I feel like I should talk about this here as well.
The stories I write tend to be quite long in length. I know that may discourage peeps from giving it a read. So here's my thought: Would you guys prefer for me to upload in shorter style vignettes that tie together to make a whole story, or just upload the whole thing?
If I were to go through with vignettes there would be some exceptions: any commissioned pieces and parts from the fantasy story I'm writing will be shown in their full length. however when it comes to other stories that I write, they would be split up into chapters, that when read altogether, flow as one story. I can see some benefits from this: for one I can work on multiple projects at a time, though I'm getting ahead of myself.

One year on FA
Posted 6 years agoWhoops, I meant to keep a date where I would keep track of my first post, but I seem to have lost it XD
So it's been a year since I officially decided to join the community, and I have to say, its been an amazing ride! With all the art, characters, and friends that I've made, I really feel that I am happier now than I was last year, and it's all thanks to you guys :D
Here's to another year and beyond!
P.S I know that I've been slacking on the story department, but I got something in the works that will hopefully pave the way for the future of this channel :)

Is Weasyl/Alt accounts a good idea?
Posted 6 years agoI recently had a chat with someone who wanted me to set up a Weasyl account. Though to be honest I'm kinda on the fence about it. My biggest concern is that by uploading to two accounts I'll just tire myself out faster. If any if you guys have a weasyl account I'm genuinely curious. Do you guys like it, and is it worth it? Here's how it's going to work:
I'll post when the raffle goes live, the prize being a pic of your OC and one of my girls doing something together. All you need to do is leave a reference and an idea for what you'd want your pic to be. Whoever the lucky winner is will not only get the picture done (not by me, I'll commission someone XD) but I'll also write a story based on the idea!
Until then think of some ideas for what you want, I can't.wait to hear what you guys got. All the rules will be on the raffle post. Good luck to everyone and thank you for the watches!!
