5 whole years.

hi guys. i don't know if there's anyone still out there, but i'm here. i probably should've just made a new account, but there was some nostalgia here that i couldn't pass up on. oh man. i don't know how many of you have been around since i disappeared off the face of the earth, but a lot has happened since then.

5 years ago (the reason for my sudden departure) my girlfriend/at-the-time master died. i won't get into the how, as this isn't the place, but it happened, and it was an event that traumatized me greatly to go through. i basically left the internet and withdrew from the world as a whole after that, and even now there's still a void in my life where she used to be. so much has happened in the interim that i can't even list it all, but i'll give the highlights a try.

i've been through four jobs, three computers, developed a minor addiction to painkillers, kicked that addiction, started job hunting again, met some amazing, amazing people, and now i just... am. it's nice to see some of my old work, though. brings back memories.

i doubt i'll be submitting anything new to the gallery. but hey, i might surprise you.

No, I haven't died...

But someone else did.

...I haven't forgotten. In fact, I'm trying to work in the couple of spare hours I do get. xP Family stuff has come up this week as well, but rest assured there will be progress updates sometime early next week if I can stay on schedule.

-ahem- I'll get to uploading stuff soon! I want to start doing at least one piece a week for a bit because I'm new to digital art and need to get better with my tablet... If anyone wants to be kind and give me an idea of how things are here, I would be verrry grateful<3 -doesn't even know how to reply to comments- o.o;
