If you like surreal moments...
Posted 18 years agook I gotta type this up before I forget it like a dream...
I am driving back from my second day at Midwest Fur Fest and I am taking a highway home (I live 20 mins away from convention so I just drive there) and about 10 mins south on the highway I go under a bridge...
...there were at least 3 large stuffed animals hanging from the bridge over the highway...
Its during a fur con so I think some one is being a douche and I drive on. But then I keep thinking about how odd that is. (its so far from the con anyway) By the time I have the opportunity to turn around my curiosity is piqued to the point where I just gotta go make sure I really saw that and pull over and take a pic on my phone (maybe even rescue the animals and leave em at the con for a good home (my mind is racing+wandering)) so I drive 20 minutes round trip to retrace my roads and scan every bridge for the stuffed animals again. They were not there. I saw a cop car pull over near the brudge the first time I drove past so I am sure the cop must have taken them down. If they were ever there. I have NO evidence now! Imagine seeing something so surreal and then not having any proof that you did. I can't even be sure I saw it now. I can only be pretty damned sure I saw it (which is not the 1:0 odds I gamble with) DAMN! I am going nuts,

MFF first day

First day I wandered the Hyatt glancing at EVERY name tag I could to see if I knew anybody. By 2 pm I realized this is NOT going to work! the sheer volume of the masses!!!! I got into a few brief conversations with strangers about stuff.
I went to "so it your first con, eh" panel. The ranting gryphon was there and uncle Kage and the Con head whats-his-tits. DAMN. and we learned how to be at a con. Oh yeah and they had the help of their lovely assistant, Sinatra the bunny!
Then I went to figure drawing session! Hosted by on the the guest of honors , Chilly". OMG she is so talented! A few lines on the paper and she already captured the pose. Just amazing! I did a few people and a few fur suiters. One of the suiters was Sinatra again! I think the actually think the last two fursuit pics turned out alright- If I still think so at the end of the con I'll post em here. Tonight there is going to be a nude drawing session. If I am real clever I hope I can punch out a few good drawings here too.
I ventured into the artists alley. I toured it without looking a anything too closely yet. (saving that for today) I ran into an old school associate who attempted to teach me about photoshop paintings when we went to college. Now don't be angry folks but this guy has more talent than anyone else in the room. It is just not to be believed. AND hes not even a furry artist XP. I went through his latest work which is ASSBLASTINGLY AMAZING. I guess he is depending on the cross genra (sic) nerds who are also into whitewolf role-playing. I offered condolences on his breaking up with his old GF (they broke up two years ago) he is now engaged to his ex's ex best friend.
I finished off the night with what turned out to be a several hour long variety show starring uncle kage, the ranting gryphon, and the audience. XD Kage is fun to listen to. great stories. If you go to a con definatly see him! As for the ranting gryphon. lol its like this. My brother (who I charge with getting me into the fandom XP) loves the RG's comedy- my brother doesn't do the fur stuff anymore but he still listens to the ranting gryphon. To me the ranting gryphon always sounded like a gay dennis leary (who I can't stand (so sue me XP)) That was before tonight. My god he is HILARIOUS in person! oh my god is that shit funny. The only issue I had was for all the hours I sat there I couldn't help but be distracted by this pervading PEE smell emenating from some one close by.
After that I drove my car home (20 mins away)
Well I didn't run into anybody I knew (which I now know is statistcally unlikely) but I had alot of fun! Lets see what the next two days bring!

Posted 18 years agoI am in the middle of a new pic and reworking a couple of old pics at the same time I am trying to finish up an industry standard 3d portfolio. All of these tasks require annoyingly long render times and all of those tasks are sharing one computer. Phooey.
I have another computer for older stuff and intershit surfing. But thanks to my downloading what I THOUGHT was a video codec I now have some motherfucking ASS-ware on my computer interupting whatever program I am in and trying to get me to download some anti-viral software which will probably put even more junk on my comp. (it interupted me twice while typing this!) DAMN. Don't download stuff when you are horny is the lesson we are taking away from this...
I am not envisioning anyone giving two shits about this but I am cooped up in my room working all the time so I thought I would record my last thoughts before I died of Gahdamet Syndrome.
I am looknig forward to churning out some more quality porn/art or....."part"....."arn"? whatever-in a couple weeks. At least there are so many other talented artists here! ^.^ b

Posted 18 years agoI am always interested in other peoples ideas. If anyone has an idea for a pic they'd like me to take a stab at I am all ears! I can't promise the worlds best pic or even that I'll be able to pull it off :P but I always like to try!
I am not really in the business of commissions because I am not comfortable with the business (money) end of the deal. yes I just said I am afraid of getting money. I don't really need the cash anyway. Plus not being paid means I don't have to worry about it if circumstances prevent me from finishing something.
This being said I have a few pics I am working on right now (plus I should be working on my portfolio but thats coming along pretty well anyway) but I am always interested in new concepts- send me a note or post the idea on this journal if you are intrigued.

Posted 18 years agoStarting shit and never finishing it- I decided to go through my old sketchbooks and I've discovered at least 5 old sketchbooks full of porn! not anything good mind you most of it is shit- first off theres alot of people in there for those of you with a human fetish. alot of headless fucking and characters with wonky limbs. terrible copies of photgraphic porn. some of it is seriously wierd shit that I won't even show to other wierdos (you know who you are) you know this is exactly why I don't have a real job yet. I love starting these great big projects and when I hit a wall I drop them like an ugly baby. if anyone is really interested I might post some of these sketches in scraps just to show you what you are missing (believe me you'll see why they never made it onto the interbutt :P) does anyone else have a problem with unfinished stuff?
