Yyyyep. It brings me great pain as I am writing this journal, but i have three major problems affecting me right now...

Wisdom Teeth

I am currently awaiting an appointment for a dentist to remove three wisdom teeth that have caused damage to eachother with irregular growth and caused a lot of swelling. It's so painful, it almost makes me reconsider being a fan of the inflation tab on FA. (not really, blimp everything XD). The main issue is I will be paying a heavy price for the procedure, upwards of AU$900 (which means i wont be able to commission art anymore until this is sorted... BLAST)

hopefully i will have a sturdy procedure, the teeth are removed without much hassle and I am holding out on hope my condition does not get any worse. (otherwise i may have to go to the ER to get them removed earlier).

So... after being distracted by... many things in life (Studying, work, looking for work, a new nephew, moving house again, Dodging major sicknesses by the skin of my fangs) I've finally went about to setting up my drawing tablet.

So far, i cannot confirm any such details on where this may go, whether this means i'll be taking commissions, livestreaming art, requesting art or hobby projects is still up in the air. If people are interested in art from me in any reguard, I appreciate the thought at least, but once i have stuff set up, i'll have more details on what's happening. (i also will be browsing art programs that will work with my wacom so there's that too)

So... i have thoughts, about the up and coming furry convention happening in my area.

WAFF2023

I have attended conventions of different kinds before (Comicon, work conventions, eccetra) but all the time I have called myself a 'furry' I have yet to attend a furry convention. So i was thinking about going to the one that is stated to be happing this year.

there are... complications with this...

I don't think I will be overtly comfortable if I was going alone. Granted I have been to comicons solo but I would not be so ignorant to say that furry cons have a different vibe to them. Personally I think the idea sounds fun as heck, but I sort of feel like if I could find a group to go with it, they might be able to help me get the most out of it. I am not too concerned about not having a fursuit/partial to wear for it... I am still clueless as to whom I can ask to make one, But I am hoping it isn't a requirement to be covered in fur or scales to get in the door. If I couldn't find people to go with, I wouldn't mind if there was some form of guide as to what to expect from a Fur Con and what to do to get the most out of it (i know i am repeating myself)

But yeah, that 'bout it. I'm fully intending on going but if anyone has thoughts I would be very grateful.

So... i have had a long time to ponder this... and I am still pondering. I've been pondering for so long i'm afraid i'll drown in this pond or become the next florida man. (despite being australian)

Fursuits...

I want one, I believe I have a financial backing to get a fursuit, however as a first suit buyer I am completely lost as to where to look. I have seen some people online who recommend fursuit makers and I am watching some fursuit makers because their stuff is super cool to watch. But... I have a few issues...

-I live in australia: Anything that i order from an overseas fursuit maker will likely leave me hemorraging money from paying the postage. Considering this crosses out a lot of recommended makers... this is a massive hurdle
-Indecisive about OC: I kinda brought this on myself with the amount of OC's i've made but I am tossing up between three OC's for a fursuit to be made for... so far i'm sold on Zorro the Super chicken but the other two im thinking would be fun too
-will i use it?: Of course i'd wanna use it... but I'd probably not be going about everywhere wearing it but i'd like to have it for conventions that Perth has... sometimes... in a blue moon...

The other thing i've considered is just... making it myself but I rather like working on projects like this with someone so they can teach me how to do it right. and I dunno anyone in arms reach for that... plus i dunno about getting the materials to make it. Can't exactly ask my nanna about borrowing her sewing machine just to say "I wanna make a chicken suit!".

That being said, i would love to get a fursuit. and i'd take Extremely good care of it. I will pursue this... but I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this.

I was also thinking if i also opened commissions or did some livestreaming to maybe get some funding to help pay for it if i go for a good quality overseas suiter, would that be a good idea? frankly i dunno...

Hey guys... it's been a while. I was having thoughts about some particular pieces of art i'd like to commission, but i am unsure who to ask or where to look for most of the stuff I'm after. But here's a basic rundown on what i am after:

- Ref sheets of my main OC Broken Cask and a more femboy form of them, Casket
- New OC/Adopt of a Gulper (Fallout)
- A SFW image of a few close friends of mine in a neutral living room setting (A funny gift image, mostly non furry)
- New Page icon for FA (The MS paint image is hella outdated, even if it is hilarious)
- A hyper realistic 'Spongebob painting' style piece of Cask/et (again, i think it'd be funny)

If you are interested in taking on another commission, or if you know someone who might be able to take on one of these items, lemme know. I have a versatile budget so lemme know :D

so today i turn 22, because it's my birthday (obviously)

and since christmas is just around the corner i kinda had some thoughts on what i could do for a celebration thing.

i can probably do a free art raffle. that might be fun. yeah i will do that. so comment down below with a ref sheet of your character and i will give you a number. the ref picture doesn't have to be perfect, just as long as i have an idea of what the char looks like. i do a semi-anime/cartoon style and i prefer doing chubby chars but all are welcome. if ya win, you can have any kind of pic you want

why am i doing this?

because i would like to try to raise some money for the charity program i am attempting called Steptember: making every step count. this charity is to raise awareness for children who live with cerebral palsy. to raise awareness, i have vowed amongst many others, to take 10,000 steps everyday.

i constantly have two notes notification at the top of FA and i read all my notes already.

sometimes i like to take off my clothes, rub butter on my body and slide around on the kitchen floor like a penguin

so i want to get into commissions but i dont seem to be getting that many actual commissions... and i kinda think that is my fault.

due to the fact i havent been drawing for quite sometime and i dont have any art that actually reflects my art skills, people dont have a clear understanding on how good i am as an artist. and it doesnt help when most of my gallery these days contains people i have commissioned myself for art.

so i have an idea...

i (hopefully) will make a new profile... somewhere... where i will post all the art that "I" draw. (or stories). i believe if i do this, i will be able to score commissions easier with several benefits

-easier to access details on my prices
-clearer shopping catalogue for what i can do (with examples)
-easier time management

i was thinking simply starting a patreon, but i am not ready to start drawing on a weekly basis... with a full time job with random hours... that's just craaaazyyyyyyyy... (also i hear it COSTS money to start so i need to research dat first)
