Hello everyone!

It's been a long while since we did a Q&A journal, I imagine the old one (on our previous account no less) is quite outdated by now.

So let's chat! Is there anything you want to know about us as a whole, or our alters individually? Post-integration, our active alters are:

Talon: Internal worker/secretary. He/Him, grey-ace. Appearance
Handles most memory management and is currently investigating our innerworld. He doesn't front much but he's friendly and loves to bask in the sun when he's around.

Kris: Host, trauma holder. They/Them, aroace. Inspace Appearance and Fursona Appearance
Handles day-to-day socialization. They're pretty shy but present themselves well. They're a median subsystem, but they don't really acknowledge it most of the time. They enjoy cooking and are pushing our style to new levels of toony.

Chronos: Protector/Caretaker. He/It, gay (T&Cs apply). Feral Appearance and Anthro Appearance
Brings the cool gay uncle energy. He's old as dust and stupidly tall. Definitely the culmination of all the Homestuck that used to be in our system pre-integration. He's usually hanging out with Kris, and they amplify each other's chaotic energy.

N: Emotion holder. He/They/It, bi. Appearance
Originally split as a means to deal with the loss of a pet. Since splitting, he has settled into a chatty and cheerful role. N has a strong connection to nature and enjoys spending time bonding with other creatures. He is not immune to Kris and Chronos' chaotic energy, much to Talon's chagrin.


Anything you want to ask, go for it! No question is too asinine or stupid. We only ask that things stay PG-13 at most since minors can and do access our journals with no way to adult-lock them.
If your question is too personal or identifying, ask anyway. We might be willing to reply in DMs, or will just gently decline to answer. :)

Sorry about that. Kind of. I've been waiting to upload traditional work until I got a scanner; I like the good ol' vampire lighting which sucks for photographing art.

Also if you couldn't tell I'm very much following the dopamine and doing what makes me happy with art right now, I'm enjoying it a lot. :)

This does mean cutting down a LOT on NSFW. It doesn't really spark joy right now.

We had a major shift in our system a couple of months ago, with many alters going dormant, and many fusing down into the two that are active right now. It really affected the way we interact with sexuality and we've become increasingly sex repulsed as a result.

All that to say, sorry if you watch for a specific kind of content (NSFW, taurs, etc.) that isn't me spewing Pokémon onto pen and paper but I kinda just want to sit in my corner and do my own thing for a bit. Commissions are very interest-dependent. More likely to accept from friends than strangers.

Depending on how many trade offers I get, turnaround time will vary. I'm not picky about skill level or turnaround time on your end.

I don't feel completely artistically constipated anymore wow.

I still have some missing skill and stamina, I can't just art for a full day like I used to, but I can actually finish pieces and feel good about them right now.
Things are not perfect yet and might not be for a while, but they're trending in the right direction.

It seems like the anti-psychotics at the dose I was taking them was what was jamming me up. I've been off them for almost a week now and it feels like a big fog has been lifted from my mind. I actually want to do things again, not just art but gaming and talking to people too. They were helping with the psychosis but really, if the price of being free of it is to feel like a complete sack of potatoes then it was never worth it... which is a shame, but it is what it is. Thankfully my psychosis is manageable and mostly only comes about when my PTSD becomes triggered.

Regarding the state of commissions, they're still going to be case-by-case until I'm feeling up to full speed again, but I feel confident to take some smaller works on and start making for people again. :3

I haven't felt much joy from art in the past few months, which is evident by the lack of uploads. It's the first time it's ever been this pervasive and long-lasting. It feels like it started when I began taking mood stabilisers, but even though I've been off them for over a month it's only really gotten worse.

It's obvious that there's something that's just not clicking for me right now, I feel as though I've regressed in skill over the last 3 months, and what I used to make feels so far away from my current ability.

I feel like I need to start over. Lose my entire current process and style and just go back to basics for a while. Play around with brushes and style until I find something that clicks and sparks joy again. I dunno what that'll look like but we'll see I guess!

Commissions are now closed, except for case-by-case basis. Friends are still welcome to ask for commissions, and we will still accept some others if we really like the idea. Smaller commissions and artistic freedom are also more likely to be accepted. You're welcome to submit a form or DM asking, but no guarantees.

We're in an awkward place where we are trying to figure out our relationship with art now that we don't need to take on commissions to survive. It's made the last few commissions we've done feel like wading through tar when they should've been fairly easy tasks. Communication is an aspect to it as well that also feels incredibly draining. Until we can work through those two issues we will only be offering very limited commissions to the public such as sales and YCHs.

We want to focus on what makes us happy and right now commissions aren't it.
