General | Posted 16 years ago...like when your mate comes out to visit you for a week. God that was the greatest week (and hatch-day) of my life. He came out on May 16th (as stated in the prev journal) and was here till today (May 24th). I miss my mate so very much already and going through withdrawl. Just prior to this journal, i came home and cried my eyes out for him. Never in my life would i have thought i would have found someone that i consider so perfect. I love you more then ever my dear lover, you're my sweet red stud of a dragon, no matter what.

Fist thing i guess involving my prev journal. I did decide on what R/C truck i wanted. The Traxxas Stampede XL-5 (google it if you need to know). Funny story about this though. I asked a friend of mine if she could order it for me because i don't have my own credit card, she said she'd try. She later get's back to me saying that she's having problems with the website she was trying to get it from, but says she's working on it. Just today i went for lunch with this, and some other friends, and i see this big wrapped box on their table, and i'm sure you can guess what happens from there. my early hatch day gift from them ;p. I sadly haven't had the chance to use it yet, but it looks like it's gonna be fun. Moreso when chasing my Wingy around the yard with it XD (jk love )
And now on that note about my Wingy drake_wingfire JUST A WEEK TILL I SEE HIM EEEEE! *ehem* sorry, i'm a bit exited, he's coming out for my hatch-day which is on May 17. This is going to be the best hatch-day ever. I love you so much my dear heart <3<3

General | Posted 17 years agoSo I've kinda caught an R/C bug lately. Been looking for a fun radio controlled car to replace the kiddy toy one that I do have. I'm looking for one of those higher end ones, but I don't know what to get. So far i have found a few brands that have some vehicles that look interesting witch are:
Traxxas-got some nice fast looking off road ones
Associated-they have a few nice ones, but not many i like
Tamiya-some cool looking ones, but not sure about the power of them
HPI-have some promising looking ones, and there is a store close to me that does sell them
Some points that I want to make though:
I want an electric one for the sake of price and environmental reasons
Off road would be the best cause I live in a hick town with very little to no paved roads and lots of grassy fields
I'm looking for one that are close to the $3-400 range
They gotta be able to ship them to Canada
Speed, would be nice if they have brushless systems too.
Would prefer if they have RTR (ready to run) models.
I'm not really looking to outright buy one yet, just kinda looking at my options first.

Anywhooo... I gots my tablet now. *SQWEEE*
It's a Wacom Intous3 4x6, and so far from what i've done with it, I like it. Only downside is... the pen is gibbled. It doesn't seem to work properly. Any time i flip it upside-down to use the eraser (or tilt it any direction for that matter) it stops working. But I've already worked out a system for that so I can still use it till I get a replacement. And there's the mouse, even though I don't see me using that much.

Recommendations.
General | Posted 18 years agoI've been contemplating getting a tablet for the past few days, but I'm not sure what to get. I've done a little looking around and found there's quite a few different kinds. What I want to know is what would anyone recommend for me. I want something thats not going to cost a lot, but I don't want something so cheap that it'll fail in a year. It would also be nice if it was good for a novice, but will not have to replace when I get better at using one.
So if anyone has any advice, It would help me quite a bit. Preferably before this coming Wednesday, 'cause that's the next time I'll be going into the city for other then work.

General | Posted 18 years agoFor any of you that have noticed any lack of activity from me within the past week, it's because I was on X-mas vacation and just got back yesterday.
And for some reason, every time I go out to Manitoba, I forget how much I miss my little crap-shack of a home and forget how much I really appretiate it.
Any time I leave it. The first thing I start to miss is the High speed internet. Out at my aunts, she has nothing but dial-up. Also I have lack of comp time anyway.
I start to miss my bed. Sleeping on a couch in the basment really sucks.
I miss my music. Everyone out there seems to all like country, and it drives me nuts. I NEED MY METALS.
I miss the freedom. I cuss like a trucker at home, so when I'm at my aunts, I have to censor myself. I hate having to watch my laguage. And also not being able to do other certain things drives me nuts.
I'll have to agree with my Grandmother when she says "...I look forward to x-mas, but I'm glad when it's done..."
Speaking of x-mas, In case you all want to know what I got:
God of War for my PS2, from my sister (kickass game)
A ratcheting screwdriver from some kind of secret santa thing we do.(It's an odd little tradition we have)
A calender from my cousin (she knows my liking for art, so she got me an Alchemy Gothic calender, and I love it)
And a sketchbook, mech pencils and Toffifee from my Grandma. (I think she was holding back a bit this year.)
And I got a couple of really nice die cast metal, model car banks from my dad. They are exclusive to MAC Tools so they are quite the collectors item.
I still have a few ppl that want to get me something so I'm waiting on them.

General | Posted 18 years agoIt's that time again. Fall is pretty much here in central Canada (Saskatchewan to be specific). The leaves are turning colour, New episodes of Corner Gas are airing, And sadly, the weather is getting colder. Now I don't really mind fall as a general season. As I said, there are new episodes of my favirite shows, and who doesn't look forward to Halloween (witch should totally ba a stat holiday). But it's a sad reminder that the bone-chilling cold of winter is just around the corner. And anyone who's been in Canada in December knows how cold it can get.

In fact it was me that did the hacking, and it wasn't on a computer. I finally got the guts to hack my psp, (with a bit of help from a friend, since I'm actually a computer nOOb) and I'll tell you...
