That's right. Our fandom was predicted by, possibly the greatest comedy show ever to exist, Monthy Python's flying circus. I'll let you draw whatever conclusions from that fact that you please, but I personally find this to be an amusing, yet interesting revelation.

Let it be known that on this day February 1st, 0.56 hours of local time, The Evil Fox finished the final version of his Extended essay (4000 words) on the subject of history after 3 months of hard work. The work is required from all students of the International Baccalaureate in order to pass the course. The essay will now be sent to examiners for evaluation.

I just love driving, and while driving my radio is my best friend. But what peeves me off about it is the fact that they keep repeating the same damn tracks over and over again. And they're not even good ones eighter. Let it be known now that I absolutely LOATHE most modern music. I'm so sick of hearing bloody Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert and Stereo Love all over again and again and again. I must've heard each one of those for like a thousand times now. I can always change the channel but the damn music follows me there! It won't be long before earrape is played on the other channel again.

Certain radio channels have a listeners' choice hour(s) when people call in and ask for their fave tracks be played. Yay! Salvation for Foxy! Oh wait, they always ask for the same bloody tracks that have already been played for 12 times already on that day. Damn it! Even if they were good tracks say, by Mark Knopfler or bloody CCR they will get old and sickening too if you keep repeating them 10 times a day. Once, during a 7-hour drive I heard Lady Gaga's Allehandro and Stereo Love 5 times each on the same channel. Even my passengers started to agree that the only accessory an accordion needs is a satchel charge. I simply refuse to listen to these tracks anymore, I'll just enjoy my engine noise instead.

Thankfully, there is some radio salvation left for me. As I've listened to the radio this much, I've pretty much compiled a list of times when each radio channel is worth listening. Make that weekend mornings and weekend evenings. During those times, driving is at it's best.

It would seem that that season of hell has finally passed and I didn't die of heat exhaustion so: YAY! The weatherman predicts that it will be highly unlikely that the temperature will rise above 20 anymore this summer. Thank Chuck Norris for that! I was getting tired of sleeping in the basement,

My folks came up with a brilliant idea: a T-shirt which reads "I survived the summer of 2010". That would be so epic.

Yep, this day had to come sooner or later. Finland's new temperature record was made today in the city of Joensuu and is 37.8 degrees Celsius. Last time it was nearly this warm, it was the year 1917 and even then it was a mere 35.9! I really wonder how they survived back then without air conditioning...

Bloody hell, there's seriously something wrong with the climate of this country! Temperatures have been floating around 35 degrees celsius in the shade for more than 2 weeks now. Then the temperature decides to take a 20 degree dive to a pleasant 14 degrees yesterday which was cool. But it's now back to bloody 34C again! And even thinking about going outside makes me sweat buckets, It's hot enough to sit at my comp typing this. I had to move my bed to our underground floor because our top floor is unbearably hot for any living organism to sleep in.

If damn Finland is having hotter weather than some mediterranean countries, then somebody should give mother nature a good kick in the backside because it's WROOONG!

PS. thank god for fans and AC units. Those are divine inventions.
