Can’t say. I’ve hosted peeps in my room in the past though

AC2018 Report!
Posted 7 years agoWell, Anthrocon 2018 has come and gone so it’s about time we talked about it. Pardon the scattered thoughts because, like a dummy, I didn’t take notes of everything. It was awesome hooking back up with friends but I had the pleasure of meeting many new people like

This year, I stayed in the Omni hotel again and with Seanthesquirrel 
Dialuca01 
Acethewolf and 
MonsterMutt who I met for the first time. Great guy and I look forward to seeing him again at more cons in the future. The room we had was nice and spacious which was perfect for celebrating Sean: and 
SquirrellyJay’s birthdays. Gifts were given, cheesecake from Furbait was enjoyed and Pizza Parma filled us up. It was a bummer that I will never get the chance to enjoy Tonic’s. However its replacement, Condado Tacos, served some delicious food. I would know being born and bred in the southwest, lol!
On Friday, I ran over to the dealer’s den to commission
Cooner who made an adorable piece featuring myself, Sean and Meza. Before I knew it while browsing around, it was time for the macro meet up which was a very fun time. Got to take photos with many of the big fellas like 
Tyrnn and 
Rogue. I also threw myself out there and offered up a digital sketch in the raffle which was won by AshtheWoof. I’m still getting used to drawing on my iPad so the picture will need to be refined at home, but it was a really cool feeling talking to Ash and seeing her get excited to get a piece from me. Later on in the day, word got out about a group going out to see Ant-Man and the Wasp. I went along with 
Sylox and Jay to join 
dsc85 and his friends to see the movie. I really enjoyed the film which had plenty of hilarious comedy, exciting action scenes and of course the creativity of the size changing themes in the movie. I highly recommend you go see it.
Saturday rolled around and in the dealer’s den, I snagged a slot for a sketch page from
MangoPoptart. Chatted with her at the table for a while after instantly falling in love with her style upon seeing her table. I loved her story about the fanart she received from a fan of hers that is now her new prized possession though. Props to them because it was a great piece. The rest of the day was spent hanging around the con, drawing in the zoo or playing video games with 
ThornDracorn 
ChaosDunk and many others. Meowdini and his friends arrived later that night where we enjoyed some drinks, shared some art and watched some Adult Swim until 4am.
Sunday was where the melancholy started to set in. Last day of the con, gotta make it count. First stop I made was in the artist alley where I was lucky enough to snag Tyrnn’s last slot. I’m super excited and looking forward to seeing the finished work from him. Later on in the day, I joined a crew with Jason who made plans to go to Dave and Busters where we enjoyed playing some arcade games. Later that evening, I met up with
TiltLongtail and hung with him and his roommates as the night came to a close. We shared some stories from the past, the con, plans for the future and enjoyed each other's company. Always great to meet the one whose crazy antics led to me discovering the fandom :3
Anthrocon 2018 was an absolute blast! No word at this time as to what my future plans will be for conventions; but rest assured, I’ll be coming back to many more to come. Until next time ya fuzzbutts!
