Posted 15 years agoI Just reformatted my PC and installed a fresh new Windows XP SP3 onto it, after I failed to install any good antiviral or firewall software on the last one. lulz. Anyway I am again back to downloading all the nessacery programs to operate the PC and have fun. Anyway, anything anyone else would install? I am sure I am forgetting somethings.

Need advice/help creating art. PROBLEMS BE PISSIN' ME OFF'
Posted 15 years agoNo one wants to suck at art, everyone wants to further their capabilities as an artist. Don't lie. Anyway, first thing is first, what do you use as your art media? Colored Pencils? Photoshop? GIMP?
Anyway, I been having a stupid little pet peeve with photoshop over the past X amount of months since I been using it. That is, Making the and coloring the line art. Typically when I draw I start out sketching with a 3pt brush till I get a decent line work for what I want to color later. Then, i move into a new layer, set the sketching layers to lower opacity levels, then use the pen tool on that new layer to make solid almost pretty crisp lines, then delete or set invisible the ugly ass sketch. Like here▲. Looks alright. I am content with PS's capabilities.
However when I go to color it, thats a massive problem. Which brings me to make this journal Its not like MS paint, where you can use the "spill paint" to fill between the lines. Because, it will end up shitty where the color doesn't even fully come up to the line, or overshoots it and colors over half the line. So you have to create a new layer and paint underneath the lines and erase what sticks out underneath. And after your daunting hours put into it, it still doesnt turn out 100% perfect. Like this▲.
My Own Critique of stuff:
-The front fender, just look at it where the color meets the wheel well. You can see how some colors just overshoot the line because I didn't erase it in its entirety.
-The metal texture/shadowing; same issue, doesn't come up to the line or overshoots it. I am not going to elaborate on my TL:DR technique but its effect given I have over 9000 hours to devote to simple menial shit.

SO YEAH, I think i want to move onto something totally different. Like Adobe Illustrator. I am tired of trying to hard to achieve maximum perfection in stuff, and coloring line art in photoshop is way way to time consuming. I am moving on to something more toony anyway in nature, unlike something like say, this, which, IMO, would have turned out better if drawn in some style like REVAtheSCARF's or TAVIMUNKS. For one, its less time consuming and I can put out more work, for two, the proportional yeild of "intrest" to "Time/Quality spent on a work" is out of whack. The best art is not always the art with the most detail in it. I been going by this motto for a while now on a few of my freinds galleries whose art is actually more appealing to me then say, ZEN's. where if there was anymore detail it would look like something IRL. For three, the threshold I have to pass to reach some furfag popularity like ZEN's is way to high to pass through.

Well anyway I posted some of the retarded shit I wrote in my FA Gallery and on a few forums across the interbutts and have come to the summation, that I have potential, as derived by some of the responses I been getting by some people there, and here. (not that OMG I AM GOING BIG or anything, probably just will just stay inside my group of feinds and fellow forum users I know)
I asked some of my closer freinds on MSN and an underground forum, but nothing is really sticking. EG, Fat Spic. While it is funny, and does hold some honesty, its retarded in the end. Also, Milenko is already copyrighted sadly, ain't taken it lul. So Iunno, help me get some ideas. Something that fits me or something crazy cool.

Medical Question: Helpin a Freind
Posted 15 years agoI COULD ASK those braindead idiots on yahoo answers or I can ask some more intelegent people.
Well, I was staying at a freinds the night before for a job fair the following morning, and there was no where to sleep so we where going to pull the matress off the boxspring so I could throw a blanket over it and sleep on that. During the process I looked at his/her piss stained sheets, and humored him/her how your mommy must have gotten them from the thrift store. Well the next morning when I was helpin him/her put the bed back together I noticed the giant pool of piss that accumulated over the night where my freind slept. I didn't say anything.
LAST NIGHT after the job fair (was fantabulous may be getting hired) my freind slept over at my place. Well he/she slept on my cot I have, and we went to sleep after only getting 3 hours of ZZZ'z the night before. So then that morning when we left for the library (2 hours ago) I was going to put pillows and blankets away and I noticed the same pool of what is probably urnine.
Well I confronted my freind and said stuff like "dude, you better get this checked out man. This stuff can lead to permenent damage to yourself if you let it go unchecked" after 10 minutes of "I don't know what your talking about." and "I drink to much water." Well I want the best for this guy/gal whom really has NO IDEA their current situation. My Guess is Urinary Tract infection or something. No one still wets the bed just because. My assumption, is its from NOT drinking ANY water, and Drinking soda at phenomenal rates. Not ever drinking water is not good. Soda is not a substitute.
Please help me, IDK how to break this guy/girls reluctance to get this checked out or to tell anyone

Posted 15 years agoQuick and short, my internet is shut off. Well, will be getting shutoff here on the 30th of this month. For those that have been wondering where the hell I have been for the past week, I haven't been on my computer either. As a matter in fact I am at the fucking library again (as i was doing 6 months ago) right now. Thats the non-TL DR info. Heres why (Which is a TL DR's worth of complaining and self pitty);
I can't use my PC. Why? Cause my mother knows so fucking much more then me about them. Specifics: Apparently when you don't Defragment your harddrive your PC will go to shit and you will have to throw it away. Also, when you have 50,000+ files on it (Including the ones involving the systems OS) , your pc will go to shit and you will have to throw it away. THose aren't her exact words but its damn well what she was implying. Which, sadly, is based around some truth. Kinda, out of context tho.
I have gone through like 3 other computers in the past 2 years at their (parents) expense. None of which I am responsible for. Ok I lied, 1 is my fault. >> (personal notes:)

RAM: 256 Mb
HD Size: 12 Gbs
Fate: Hard Drive burned out. I was messing around with some hardware and the PC wouldn't leave BIOS. Shit pissed me off. Hit the garbage can a week later after removing the RAM and Processor
2.) Model: Windows 98
Processor: .8 Ghz
RAM: 512 mb
HD: 32 Gb
Fate: BIOS got corrupted by a .PNG file? ok that was silly. Other then for modern shit, PC was good for some old fashioned gaming. Got thrown away when we got the next computer. (Dumbass alcoholic boyfreind of moms through it out. YOU COULDA STILL USED THAT MOTHER FUCKER *facepalm*)

Fate: Upgrades. To tell you the truth, there was nothing wrong with it really, other then it needed supporting parts to back up what we where doing with it. In that case, upgrading the internals and stuff. Sadly, the puny 300 mega watt needed to be sub'd with a 600. So the 300 would would over heat and shut off after 15 minutes. Specifics: Apparently when you don't Defragment your harddrive your PC will go to shit and you will have to throw it away. Also, when you have 50,000+ files on it (Including the ones involving the systems OS) , your pc will go to shit and you will have to throw it away. THose aren't her exact words but its damn well what she was implying. Which, sadly, is based around some truth. Kinda, out of context tho.

Fate: BIOS got corrupted by a .PNG file? ok that was silly. Other then for modern shit, PC was good for some old fashioned gaming. Got thrown away when we got the next computer. (Dumbass alcoholic boyfreind of moms through it out. YOU COULDA STILL USED THAT MOTHER FUCKER *facepalm*)

processor: 1.2 GHZ
RAM: 124ish (originally)
hd: 32 Gb also
Fate: Upgrades. To tell you the truth, there was nothing wrong with it really, other then it needed supporting parts to back up what we where doing with it. In that case, upgrading the internals and stuff. Sadly, the puny 300 mega watt needed to be sub'd with a 600. So the 300 would would over heat and shut off after 15 minutes. ASVAB Test and USMC ramble
Posted 15 years agoI just took my ASVAB testing, Essentially, its like your SAT's and ACT's for college, but this one is for the Military and all its branches. And I never realised how bubbling the same answer 3 times in a row, can be the most nerve wrecking experience of all time. Well anyway minus a few questions I think I did above average. Not super advanced almost every answer correct, but close to that feeling. I find it sad tho, That the school systems actually don't teach a lot of the advenced stuff I seen on this, particularly the Electronics, and the Auto & Shop sections. I took some electrical stuff in Washingtons state system, in 4th grade, a lot of it came in handy lol, I can recall a few question having to do with circuits, all I learned in 4th grade. But everything else I just picked up watching TV, like the discovery channel and what not. Also, I had some hands on experience with cars and carpentry with my uncle for a few years.
USMC - I really been wanting to join the corps for at least a good 8 years now, but only got serious about it 3 ago. My Future career as I plan anyway, is to Join the MC Reserves right after highschool and attend college at the same time, then X years after college go through OCS and the basic school and earn a 2nd Lieutenant Commision. Fuck I would love that.
Also, I would really really love to be like to get MOS 1302, Combat engineer officer, looks so shibby. <3 So I can call that my future career life whatever. I would like to be lifer and retire early or go into law enforcment or something. Maybe be a military contractor to use my skills I have no idea its too far. - IT IS ILLEGAL IF I GET A PIRATED FORUM SOFTWARE (other than Mybb, IPB 1.3, more that suck)
- what does this mean? If someone tells on you, the host MIGHT just get your space deleted. Thats really it. And thats if you have on shore hosting.
