Posted 18 years agoSo, I went back to using the dark styelsheet Monday; 'cause it doesn't stab my eyes into a bloody goo like the default does.
Well, the first thing I noticed when I changed was that we have a different banner than the normal theme. It's got a racoon (at least, I think that's what he is...), with two indeterminbles. Well, he's using a bottle of sunscreen, and squeezing it hard enough to make it shoot out as he stares at said indeterminables.
And it occured to me...
WHY WOULD AN ANTHRO NEED TO USE SUNSCREEN? I mean, they're already covererd in fur... And that shit can't feel good, smearing all up in said fur...

Control over the Element of Energy, the weather, and the nanobots that comprise my cybernetic body. I can also fly by creating or reigning in storm clouds.

I was snatched from death's claws by the FBPPI. Most of my body was destroyed, so they used me as a test subject in their nanobot experiments. No one expected the Energy powers to be a biproduct.

How hard is it, honestly, to READ someone's profile before shouting on their page? These people took time out of their lives to watch your ass; even if you're never going to talk to them or look at anything they do, the least you can do is take YOUR time to read THEIR profile-

Normally, this wouldn't bother me. Normally, I wouldn't give a shit. But, BY THE GODS; Since amending my profile to strictly state that I don't want you to shout a thanks for a watch or fave, if that's all you're going to say, I've STILL had nearly four or five people DO IT ANYWAY.

Posted 18 years ago5 hours of sleep, that is. ;P I didn't get home till around 12:14, and woke up about an hour and a half ago. :D
So, one of my dad's coworkers and friends had a couple of people from Best Buy (where they work; the DC, not the actual store) come over to her house yesterday. Which of course, meant that mom and I went as well.
We actually spend most of that night talking, although we were supposed to be playing Mad Gab. Which is fine by me, as it turns out that game burns my brain. XP Though, I found a way to make almost every card sexually explicit. ^_^ Like there was one that actually said, "Nit Picker Ape Butt". And I was like, "ZOMG WHY ARE WE PICKING AT APE BUTTS!?" Then there was "Angery Sexy-something or other-" So of course, the first words out of my mouth were, "Angry Sex!"

Anyway, I figured, I think, why the character creation chapter wasn't uploading right previously. If my guess is correct, FA will not ACTUALLY accept files if the file name (on your computer, now what you try to name it on FA) is too long. Even though, it doesn't TELL you that; in fact, it continues through the file uploading process as if nothing is wrong. *glares*
At any rate, everything is now working. The .doc file of the UF CRB is in my gallery and waiting for use, and all the chapters and sections from the .rtf version are now in my scraps.

Attention Anyone Using RTF User Friendly! (Edit)
Posted 18 years agoIn a few moments, I'm going to be deleting each RTF submission from my scraps. Then, I'm going to try and reupload them. There are a couple of reasons for this.
First of all, the character creation chapter seems to be very pissy and refuses to upload properly.
The second reason is multi-pointed. First, the titles for each submission are too long for my original aspirations. The ends of their titles are getting cut off. Secondly, it occured to me that I don't NEED to put RTF in their titles; the very fact that they're literary works in my scraps MEANS that their in rich text format. XP
So, wish me luck!

Blargh; And Status on Free Short Stories
Posted 18 years agoSo after going through and getting some last minute, yet needed, information so that I could start working on those free short stories yesterday, there was just one problem.
I FELT LIKE SHIT. I don't know what it was. I was up and awake in the morning, but by the time noon rolled around and I was willing to work on something, I just had absolutely no stamina or drive to do anything. In fact, I really don't remember MUCH of yesterday, beyond sitting at the table and working on the next set of alignments for Barrier, and trying to catch up with The Wotch... It was all very surreal, actually.
But today, I think I can get to work. Let's hope I don't flake out again. T_T

My religious beliefs are a bit complicated, but I'll say this much as to what I believe. All religions have some truth, in so much as they exist. But all religions are full of lies, at least to me they are, in so much as that almost every one of them claims to be the only 'true' religion, the only 'true' path to salvation. 3. Poetry. Perhaps not as much as I'd like, but my muse is short, sweet and to the point. I'd like to think...
What can you expect to see from me, journalwise?
Not a whole lot. I really only use my journal here to talk about my art, and to advertise for my projects. If you want to know about me, personally, you're going to have to talk to me on IM, email me, or go to my livejournal (the link for which is in one or more of my journals). My lj is really the only place I put the goings on in my personal life, and even then I only update it sporadically. Deal with it.
