God I hate journals.

ANYWAYS.

Starting soon, some of my old art is going to disappear from my gallery, because they have become offensive to mine eyes. But in order to make sure my gallery doesn't shrink horrendously, I'll be 'revamping' them in a way- sort of doing updates by redrawing the same character or drawing a similar one. So it means a prettier gallery in the long run.

A couple of bits of the old stuff will stay for posterity- mostly the bits that don't make me cringe at how horrendous they are.

Look forward to the end of this nonsense- because it means I might- MIGHT- start taking commissions. o: legasp.

Sorry for the lack of art of late. x) I am drawing things! only the problem is that a lot of them are part of a lolsekrit project, and I cannot put them up till the whole series is done, and there are more than a dozen total and I'm only about half done but when I finish there will be a PICTURE DELUGE and they will all be crappy because most of them are old ohnoes. x_o Some day soon I will get off my tail and scan a bunch of older sketches that I did not finish for one reason or another.

ANYWAYS. question. Regarding the sekritproject, when it eventually comes time to post the pictures, lemme ask this- they are not that big. 300 pixels by... I can't recall. anyways. not all that big. So should I post them in groups (like, two or three or four or whatever amount of pictures kinda side-by-side) or seperately?

*lays off the caffeine*

*watches everyone run screaming* Noooo, come back! *lures with a whopping four pictures posted close to one another*

Anyways! You may recall that I've mentioned the PMMUSH briefly in the descs of some of my pictures. Figured that, hey, I've been at the place a year now, figures I should do my part in luring in fresh meat. I mean players.

"But Marc!" you may cry. "What is this MUSH thing you speak of?" To use the textbook definition, it's 'a text-based multi-user environment with a persistent world, and usually has a single cohesive setting and theme'. All you need is a client (I use SimpleMU; free download and painless as could be) and a working connection and you can telnet your merry way on in.

So, the Pokemorph MUSH. It's been going on since the year 2000 and still strong! Lots of members and characters and activity. There's room for lighthearted social RP, serious character-driven stuff and darker plots and serious storylines. We have a wiki in progress with extra theme information and general stuff- And artists! Chances are you've seen some members' art around DA and FA, besides my own.

Basic plot premise, inasmuch as you can get it in a couple lines: Twenty-eight years in the future, Team Rocket has changed the world as we know it. No longer focused on capturing the next 'rare' Pokémon, they seek to reclaim the genetic experiments that were once theirs. Long after the Wars, Pokemorphs find themselves struggling to maintain a semblance of normal life on their small island amidst a whirlwind of politics and the ever-present threat of the factions that seek to destroy them.

Anyways, despite the lack of recent pictures, I'm still drawing plenty X) Just can't show 'em off! One picture I'm hiding because it contains spoilers for my character's background, and a couple are from a 12-picture series that I'm working on; once I have most or all of them done, I'll put 'em up. Currently 2 are completely done, and 2 more are sketched and ready to color. And there's a non-series one that I'm just slacking on coloring... Just need to make a nice background theme for the series, which is... difficult. D;

Oh hey, if anyone would care to take a screencap of my gallery when I hit precisely 300 pageviews, I'd be grateful. Maybe even grateful enough to draw you a sketch~ who knows? :3
