So Art Fight finally came to a close, so let’s recap things a bit. This year was my first time participating; I was really looking forward to it. In June, I made sure to finish some character sheets for all the main characters of Adéenne, plus I added the option to attack other comic characters via a full Toyhouse character (I also learned about this platform through Art Fight lol).

During Art Fight, I did 30 attacks, 11 of which were friendly fires. 7 of the 30 attacks were revenges (one of which is not officially a revenge, since I got featured in a mass attack). My final battle ratio is 69.77% (lol nice), and I accumulated 1997.25 points.
I have drawn 37 characters belonging to 30 different people. Here is the species breakdown:

Now with the defenses, I got attacked 15 times. 2 of those were mass attacks. 7 attacks were revenges while the remaining 8 were first attacks. I have revenged everyone who attacked me.

Notably, Bianca was the only main character to not get attacked (it’s okay Bianca, you’re getting your own series anyway lol).

I didn’t really have a specific goal for this Art Fight. I wanted to attack mostly other Comic Fury artists. 19 of the 30 attacks were against other Comic Fury users. The others were either collected from the front page, the discord server, attacks seen in my subscription box or revenges. Every single character I have drawn was a full body. 13 attacks had backgrounds, and out of those, 6 were abstract and 5 were scenes.

With all that said, I really enjoyed my time doing Art Fight. I haven’t drawn a lot the last few years considering all that is left to do for Adéenne is to add speech bubbles and reformat the comic for print. I really enjoyed going back to drawing almost every day. This time, I tried drawing on paper then coloring the rest on the computer. 23 of my attacks were first done on paper while the remaining 7 were done fully on the computer. I honestly think I have more control on my lines when I draw on paper, but I’m not sure how noticeable it is in the end.

I just wanted to say that my webcomic I have been working on since 2016 is gonna release very soon! It's about a family of rabbits trying to find their mom. Everything is scheduled for August 8th, 2024, 6:30 PM EST. The first three episodes will release simultaneously, while the others will release on Thursdays, same time, bi-weekly (once every two weeks, to be clear).
