So...
Posted 12 years agoI'm still alive and all that for those curious. I'm just really wrapped up in other things and tend to forget to pop in and such.
Anyone who has my Skype or Steam should know I'm way easier to reach there. And anyone who doesn't can ask me for it, okay? :3
I'll try to pop in more XD I have almost 7,500 pieces of art to look through anyway, right? Heh.

Auction Pimping
Posted 13 years agoYou should see them in submissions but I'll mention it here anyway.
I'm pimping a few auctions for a friend of mine. Some pretty damn impressive traditional art of some ponies.
So yeah. Bid n' shit if you've the money/inclination. Links in submissions on my page.

Asking questions: a protip.
Posted 14 years agoIf you ask a question- be prepared for the answers you may get.
It's petty to ignore the responses or remove them just because you don't like them. Heaven forbid someone not say what you were hoping for, especially when others have.
I won't name names, but you know who you are.

All that's left are two zombie spots, but hey, that's something! I think it's 'leaping' and 'digging' zombies that are left. If you'd like to go for it get your refs ready! Tell your friends at least if y'don't.

That emotional test that's been going around.
Posted 14 years agoFinally felt like doing it. Doesn't feel inaccurate, but I never know how serious to take such things.
Aesthetic
You appreciate art, beauty, and design; you know that they are not superficial but absolutely crucial to living the good life. You have good taste, and you're proud of it. Those with a high score on the "aesthetic" trait are often employed in literary or artistic professions, enjoy domestic activities — doing things around the house — and are enthusiastic about the arts, reading, and travel.
You don't think it's pretentious to be moved by art and beauty. You're not one of those who believe it doesn't matter what something looks like as long as it does its job.
Understanding
You are willing to take the time to find out what's going on with other people, especially if they're in distress. You're a good listener, you don't criticize, and you offer unbiased, respectful, honest advice when it's requested. With a high score on the "understanding" trait, it is likely that you are enthusiastic about charitable work, helping others, and making the world a better place.
You don't feel the need to impose your standards on others or say things that, even though true, cause pain.
Organized
You like to think a task through before you embark on it. If it's the slightest bit complicated, you make a list (even if it's only in your mind) and methodically work your way through it. When you have a goal in mind, you're not satisfied until you reach it.
You are not one of those people who ignore the details, and you don't understand how anyone can get anything accomplished without thoughtful planning ahead of time.
Solitary
You are a private person, not very comfortable in a big group, and view excessive socializing as a waste of time.
You not prefer hanging out with others to spending time alone; you do not tend to feel at home in a crowded room, club, stadium, or auditorium.
Warm
You have a genuine interest in other people. You're a natural host, and are always thinking about how you can increase the happiness of those around you. When friends have problems or are in trouble, you're usually the first person they turn to for aid and comfort. Scoring high on the "warm" trait suggests that you are among those who enjoy domestic activities — doing things around the house — and are enthusiastic about charitable work, helping others, and making the world a better place.
You don't always say exactly what you're thinking; you don't like the idea of causing anyone pain because of your criticism.
Scrupulous
You are an honest, fair person. You don't lie or cheat to get ahead. You treat others with respect and hope for the same in return.
You do not feel that you are above the rules that everyone else follows; you are definitely not willing to do whatever it takes to get ahead.
Empathetic
You are in touch with your own feelings, which helps put you in touch with the feelings of others.
You don't buy the logic that your happiness comes ahead of everyone else's because unless you're happy you're incapable of making anyone else happy.
Sympathetic
You have a knack for knowing what's going on in the hearts and minds of those around you, without their having to tell you explicitly. People tend to turn to you with their problems because they know you care, and that you will likely offer good advice and a helping hand.
You do not feel that people with sad stories are just looking for attention, or have brought their problems upon themselves.
Reserved
You are somewhat shy, or at least unwilling to spend all your time socializing. With you it's true that "still waters run deep," which is why many of your acquaintances never get to know you well.
You are not always ready to talk at the drop of a hat. Whether you're in the office or at a party, you're not likely to be found gabbing away in the middle of a group of people.
Responsible
You fulfill your obligations and responsibilities, are true to your word, and generally obey the rules. While the majority of those who have a high score on the "responsible" trait enjoy traveling, they are usually very happy to return home — and don’t mind staying put for a while.
You're opposed to making hasty decisions, you don't insist that you're above the rules, nor do you feel compelled to color outside the lines.

What happened to the art of the written word?
Posted 14 years agoI ask you. What happened? I can't point to a single young person that enjoys reading- despite all the texting and typing they do. They want to rush through everything, they don't want to absorb the atmosphere or grasp the wit of things.
If it isn't retarded luls or action packed violence they don't give a fuck. Don't try to get them to read a book or enjoy a game for it's story, you'll be wasting your breath.
Hell, half of my generation is like that.
Now, I'm not a hypocrite, I love those things too and I admit it, but god damn. There's more to things than two second thrills.
Half the people I enccounter can't even type half decent on the inernet. I mean, we all have our words we screw up, but that's not what I'm talking about and you know it.
Soon it may all be grunts, videos, and pictures.

Anyone out there play Ultimate Alliance 2 for the Wii?
Posted 14 years agoApparantly it's quite different from the Xbox/PS versions (and lacking some nice features, like alternate costumes)
Anyway, I have a PROBLEM. That is PISSING ME OFF.
Recruiting Venom. I just don't fucking get it. I've recruited everyone else so far without a problem- including Penance, Songbird, and Green Goblin (all listed after Venom on the list.) but this one is just a pain in my ass.
Survival is a bit difficult because of their shockey weapons, but the real issue is earning enough points! I can barely get to bronze level.
My team has been consisting of Spiderman, Luke Cage, Mr. Fantastic, and someone with good range attacks (Usually that lets me do a Beam Split fusion.)
I don't care for Mr. Fantastic, but his passive abilities are nice.
Anyone have any sugjestions? Do I simply need more smashy heroes? I should be very well leveled TBH.

Boiling down the premises of Yu-Gi-Oh into a catchy song!
Posted 14 years agoAlso, if you haven't, check out Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged at, well, yugiohabridged.com man... that was tough to figure out.
It's quite hilarious, so it's worth a watch regardless of what you think of Yu-Gi-Oh.
Game Meme 9, 10, 11.
Posted 14 years ago9 - Saddest game scene.
That's a tough one. Partly because most games lack truly sad moments.
The ending of Lufia II: Rise of the Sinestrals gets my vote.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jE4WoHl1KJE
Watch part 2 and 3 also- up to the credits. Yes it's long. But nessicary to see the SAD. Also hear it.
10 - Best gameplay.
Shall I compare apples and oranges too?
In other words too much good gameplay of different sorts to make a fair decision.
11 - Gaming system of choice.
DS. Great games in great variety. Just need to step up the online some, which the 3DS may be doing.

Game Meme Day 8 and an auction pimping.

Always_Dreaming check it out!

Anywho, Day 8 is best Sound Track. I'm going to have to award this to an entire series actually- the Sonic series. Many of it's tunes are catchy, words or no. Who could forget Casino Night Zone? Mushroom Hill Zone? That sweet, sweet invincibility music from Sonic & Knuckles? City Escape? Pumpkin Hill? All the great themes for characters from Sonic right down to Big The Cat? All Hail Shadow? So much great stuff.
I won't forgive them for Team Sonic's theme though. That was a bad, bad, Sonic Team. Very bad. Shame on you.
Runner ups are the Zelda series and the Mega Man series! I'm pretty sure cell phones wouldn't have ringtones without Mega Man, and who could forget Saria's Song from Ocarina of Time or the consistantly enjoyable overworld themes?

... what's the most squirrels you've ever seen at once?
Posted 14 years agoCause I just saw a fuckton all together o.0 If I hadn't startled them I'd've taken a picture.
Jeeze... o.0 I wonder what they were up to? Chattin' it up or some sort of squirrel orgy or something? Whatever sound they were making blended together and I thought it was a duck or something.
Weird crap man, weird crap. Right outside my window. Not even in a full size tree. Just this medium small thing next to my neighbors house.

Game Meme 6 & 7
Posted 14 years agoMost annoying character- That's a HARD one. There are so many annoying little bastards. Omachao (Sonic Adventure 2) and Slippy (Starfox) I suppose.
Though you could have a fair amount of fun with Omachao by abusing him and taking him through goal rings.
And Slippy is just irritating from what little I've delt with him.
Best Game Couple- A much less hard one. Knuckles/Rouge and Lloyd/Sheena are my two faves/only pairs I really care about.

Posted 14 years ago-Character you are most like/wish you were more like-
Most like Jade from Tales Of The Abyss.
Wish I were more like? Well, game characters are mostly capable of amazing things, aren't they? So I guess 'most'. But specifically... Zero, Knuckles, Professor Layton. Less specifically a Blue Mage from FF games :3

Game Meme Day 3
Posted 14 years agoUnder Rated Game(s)- Virtua Quest and Custom Robo.
Custom Robo isn't... unpopular I think, but I think it should really take off. It has a long history in Japan and we only have two very good games, which I own both of (Game Cube and DS games.). Build highly customizable robots, pew pew! Unique gameplay- not like armored core in style.
Virtua Quest is a random encounter among the games I've played. Back in the day in a video store looking for something to rent. Gave it a shot. Loved it. Still want a copy today if anyone has one. It's basically... hmm... it's been awhile, an open world-ish fighting game set in a future-ish world where you learn moves through some sort of data left behind by characters from the Virtua Fighter games (which you fight them in.). And part of your level ups come in the form of tetris like pieces you place in a 3D cube that gets bigger. It's pretty customizable. Custom stats and custom fighting moves.

Alright then, here we go!
First Video Game- Super Mario World. At least it's the first I recall XD pretty sure it was the first. Eventually got a perfect on it. Then last year did the same thing in half a day.
Favorite VG character- There's a lot. A. LAWT. Zero (Mega Man), Sheena (Tales of Symphonia), Harry (Custom Robo), Joe & Alastor (Viewtiful Joe), and a decent handful from the Sonic games.
