Back again, gone again, gone again, back again.
Posted 3 years agoQuite frankly, I am utterly shocked that my last journal entry has been a year away already, even though I always had the full intent of being much more active writing. Developing my portfolio of stories has been an absolute treasure for me, and I've begun to really realize that writing erotica seems to be where I enjoy writing the most. Writing isn't my primary profession, but it is a skill I have that ultimately ends up underutilized.
So where have I been this time? Unfortunately, about a month after writing my last journal entry, I fell gravely ill and required emergency surgery that took eight months to recover from. What timing! Beyond that, time and opportunity has been spotty at best, but I have been inspired to continue writing erotica because of the incredible response my stories have received from all of you, and the immense exposure my singular Twine game has received on Itch.io.
Writer's block is of course a real thing that has to be managed. But what is also a problem is ideas. Omorashi is a fascinating fetish, but every fetish has limitations on how many scenarios one can play out. So, I will be exploring more potential scenarios, as well as revisiting past scenarios with new characters and new implementation. If I revisit a scenario, I will let you know of the past stories that took advantage of that scenario in the description. If you have any suggestions of particular scenarios, I am always eager to hear them, though I cannot guarantee a story will be written about it.
Finally, I did want to mention the potential room for commissions. I have never written commissions since I've started, but if there was interest for stories to be written about a particular scenario with particular characters, either for public or private viewing, I may be open to taking those commissions for a fair fee. If this interests you any, please send me a private message.
Thank you all for taking the time to read and enjoy my stories. Your response and support has been extraordinary, and an inspiration. I look forward to showering you all with more interesting tales soon.

Greetings from 2021!
Posted 4 years agoGosh, it seems like every time I make a journal, it's to explain some absence or exclaim that I am once again returning to write more stories! I greatly apologize for the inconsistency, and the lack of stories written in so long. Unfortunately this little hobby is not able to warrant a full time attention, and writer's block has not helped that at all.
I'm just chiming in that I am still around and love to write stories still, but I've simply not been able to do so until I have the chance, the idea, and the motivation. I've really enjoyed the positive feedback, the constructive criticism, and the support for my stories all this time. I've really loved working on this page, but I cannot maintain it constantly, or consistently.
But, just because I do not post regularly doesn't mean I won't post. With this journal I've introduced two stories to my gallery. One is more familiar to the kinds of stories I write, but one is different. I do intend to write a more variety of story types in the future (though all will be adult themed.) However, for those who have become a fan of my original 'theme,' rest assured, I will never let go of that one.
As for moving forward? I will write when I get those three magic abilities of time, motivation, and idea. I do want to also explore more fully using Twine to create dynamic stories that allow you to choose the outcome of the scenario. I have also been conceptualizing and researching on making a first person game that engages with the main theme of my writing to help everyone try to live out whatever fantasies they might have. If you have any interest in more twine games or such a game like the first person idea, do let me know!
Thank you everyone for reading, and while uploads won't be consistent, I do hope you'll enjoy them as they come.

Time Flies
Posted 7 years agoHello everyone! It's the Written Wolf, also known as that guy who kept thinking he could write more stories, and then life decided to say: Naw.
I'm still around and still intent on exploring the wonderful world of furry fiction writing, but I've had to put a lot of things on the back burner for now due to life, situations and a few too many projects that don't involve two cute fluffy males going at it.
I'm no longer keeping to a set schedule (clearly -_-) but as I write things and have the time and energy to do so, I will be putting them up here, so thank you for everyone who's stuck by, still watching, and hoping for more.
For now, I've released the project I had started a while ago; a Twine game that features many options as a story plays out, featuring over 7,000 words (most of my stories only had ~1,000), with the intention of future updates and options, so it''ll only get bigger and more complex from here! Any updates made to the project will be accompanied by an update here in my journal.
I hope everyone has had a good year thus far, and continue to enjoy my stories, old and new!

Still Alive
Posted 8 years agoHello everyone!
It's probably been the longest period of time I've had between stories, and my rate of writing has not been what it was earlier this year. I know you all probably don't expect continuous stories because I don't run a Patreon or anything like that, but I thought I'd let anyone who was curious know that everything is fine here and going along normally, I've just been unable to find the time to sit down and write these short stories like I did.
While I cannot say for certain when my availability will allow for more story writing, I have to say that I am not planning on stopping, or truncating any projects I have in relation to my work here. I have a few stories I do plan on releasing this month, and hopefully continue writing throughout the end of the year and into the next. While I originally did plan for The Written Wolf to primarily focus on the year of 2017, with the reception I have received from all of you, and the fun it has been writing this stories, I do not intend to let things stop with the year, and look forward to the stories of 2018 and beyond! This has become quite a fun hobby, and I love sharing it with you all!
I hope all of you have been well, enjoying the great pieces of art and content developed by this site and others for our community, and I hope you'll enjoy the coming stories I am writing as you did the last!
Cheers~!

Experiments in Interactive Fiction
Posted 8 years agoHello everyone!
As some of you may have noticed, my activity had been pretty lackluster for about a month. Fortunately, this hasn't been a determent to my desire to continue creating a story every week for the entirety of the year of 2017. For what weeks I have missed, I intend to make up with extra stories on weeks that I can provide two, or even three. Every time I write a story, I intend to try and create a unique or newly explored method of expressing a particular fetish or two, in the best quality that I can, at roughly 1,000 to 1,500 words each.
One thing that I have been trying differently in the recent past few weeks however, is experiments with interactive fiction, as the title of this journal suggests. For anyone who's never heard of it, Twine is a "game" engine that allows the easy creation of branched story and dialog, to tell a 'choose your own adventure' style story. I thought it might be interesting to try and create such a story that reflects a majority of my own submitted stories thus far, and post it for free on Itch.io, as well as Fur Affinity, for all to see.
So far, the story is equivalent to 5 or 6 of my short stories, and is about the story of a young Winter Fox named Frederik, who recently came out of the closet. Fortunately for Frederik, his older brother knows you're the kind of guy to help make someone more comfortable with their sexuality, either through an intimate exploration of bodies, or through the introduction of a new and fascinating fetish that he might like.
I can't wait to share this story with everyone in the coming days, and hope that you all continue to enjoy my stories. If anyone has suggestions for any particular ways they'd like to see their fetish explored, please let me know! I'd be happy to take in more feedback in order to create and improve more stories to your liking!
I hope you all have a wonderful day!

As some of you might've noticed, the stories started to trickle in a little bit before stopping for quite a while since I started this page. Just so everyone knows, the stories haven't stopped, its just been a matter of a very tight schedule, as well as a temporary illness (that got better) that has had me bogged down for the past month. With everything as hectic as its been, I haven't had the time to sit down and write new stories to post on FA. This is not a permanent state, however!
Thank you, everyone, for your understanding. Keep an eye out for regular updates coming very soon!

A strong month going forward!
Posted 8 years agoHello everyone!
With twenty seven watching, and ninety-one favorites from the submission of this journal, and ten submissions in, I am very happy to know that you're enjoying my work! I've been learning a lot about structure and word composition by writing all these stories, and I don't intend to stop! You might've noticed that I've gone a bit haywire on some weeks with multiple submissions in a row, when I said I'd do one a week. I may have gotten a bit eager...
Regardless, I've appreciated all the support. I will still aim to do one story a week, even when I submit multiple stories in a week. It's all about building repetition, and good habits! I look forward to seeing how this page will look at the end of the year!
I also wanted to shout out to anyone actually taking the time to read this, if they have any opinion on the icons I use for my stories. I suspect that, while it does advertise the story to those searching casually, it might potentially spoil and ruin the story for readers. Alternatively, I know some might be embarassed to favorite a story that reads, loudly, 'Watersports.' If this bothers anyone, let me know in the comments.
Lastly! I have said I'd do other fetishes and story ideas, however, I have a large backlog of prompts for that fetish that I really can't stop jumping with, so this page will likely continue to be 95% watersports for the forseeable future. I've been told that there's very little active watersports storytellers on FA, so I'd be happy to help fill in some of the gaps.
That's all for now, but thank you for enjoying my stories! I hope you have as much fun reading them as I do writing them!

Getting right down into it!
Posted 8 years agoHello everyone, who might actually read this. Since a few people have taken interest in my work I thought I'd type up a little report of my work.
I primarily created this account to practice and refine my writing, while also writing some of the stuff I love to write but won't ever get published in any career portfolios, if you know what I mean. I'm aiming to try and write a story of at least 1,500 to 2,000 words each week, (sometimes more depending on inspiration and time available).
I want to cover little short stories about fantasies revolving certain fetishes, as well as a series or two revolving around certain recurring characters as they explore their sexuality. I hope to walk out of 2017 with over fifty stories published to FA, and I hope those that read them enjoy them, and are able to see my progress as a writer!
If you've read my stories, you might've guessed that I am a gay wolf, and my stories will near exclusively focus on males, homoerotica, and any predominant fetishes that have been transcribed as of the time of this journal entry was posted. (Write what you know!) So if anyone was wondering why there was such a lean on that topic, now you know.
Thank you to everyone whose shown their support, everyone who's favorited my work thus far, and anyone interested enough to watch me. You're the icing on the cake!
-The Written Wolf
P.S. If anyone makes any art, stories or anything creative that is inspired by any of my stories, let me know! I'd be proud to favorite it and display it on my page! Every character in my stories is my own creation, and handcrafted for each tale.
