Posted 8 years agoI wanted to apologize for my absence and slight hiatus.
Life just got 1000x better, and I moved to Colorado!! I'm so happy to be back in my home state. I've missed it terribly. I'm much closer to my friends and family now. Also: muuuuuch closer to my boyfriend, since I moved in with him.. After 2 years of long distance. Anyway.. I'm thrilled.
We have a lot of organizing and unpacking left to do, but I will be able to finish up my commission list soon. (thank you all for your support and patience!!!)

It's been awhile... (Excited for AnthroCon)

My last journal was.. 7 months ago. And it was real sad.
Anyway.. I'm back!
I'm just super excited to be going to AnthroCon next month!
I get to meet two friends for the first time! (Xris and Dream!)
And I get to see so many other friends!
Anyway...
I was wondering who would be interested in pre-ordering a badge from me for AnthroCon?

Worst day of my life..
Posted 9 years agoI could make this journal incredibly long... But I'll give you the short version.
So... About 16 years ago.. I had the privilege of meeting my best friend. Her mom passed away shortly after childbirth. I was 7 years old... And was offered to help deliver her children. These children just so happened to be puppies. My job was to help the puppies breath after the vets removed them from their mama. (C-section) they got down to the last one... And I couldn't get her to breathe.. I cried... And I kid you not, I kissed her little nose, and she started breathing. She was my miracle pup. Since Katika, their mom, passed away, we ended up bottle feeding all 6 pups.
Skipping ahead.. I was laying on the kitchen floor.. Playing with the puppies.. And my miracle pup opened her eyes for the first time... I was the first thing she saw. Those big beautiful brown eyes...
I begged and begged my parents to let me keep her... And on Christmas day, I walked out to my stocking... And she was inside it. She was my Christmas present.
We became the best of friends... I told her everything. She slept in my bed. I have never loved anybody as much as I loved her..
Then... Came college. I had to go away to school.. And my dog was getting older.. I cried too hard when I had to leave her behind. Always fearing that she'd pass away while I was away. Several family members or close friends have passed away before her.. I always would haves my parents tell me to call them... And my heart would sink... Because I thought they were going to tell me my dog passed away.. But she out lived so many others... My miracle pup. Soon.. She becsme my last childhood pet that was still around... My miracle pup...
Well today... October 22, 2016... I finally got the news I've been dreading since I started college..
My precious friend, Rowlee Noel, had had a stroke... She had passed away.
She would have been 16 on November 21st.
This is by far the hardest loss I have ever had to endure.
I wasn't there to say goodbye to my best friend... And that kills me.
She has been cremated... And the vet shaved a bit of her tail for me so I can create a few paintbrushes..
But guys... I'm hurting so bad.. I've been crying for 7hours.
RIP, my miracle pup.

Posted 9 years agoGuys... I am so so so so sorry your commissions are taking so long. I have been really stuck. I'm trying to do lots of personal art so i can improve my style. I have been in a place where I'll sketch your art, and hate it. And it's because i feel like you deserve better.
I realize you guys probably think my art is fine.. and just want me to finish your **** art. I agree. i do. I'm going to try forcing myself to do it. This Inktober is very good for me because i can do something quick and easy as warm-ups.
However... I REALLLLLLY appreciate your patience, and that you helped support me this whole time. It means the world to me. And lets not forget... we did this for my cat.
After i get caught up on commissions, i don't think I'll EVER take on that many again. It's too stressful for you and I.
Anyway... I swear i haven't forgotten about you! I just took on too much to juggle with school and work.
If you could all resend your mailing addresses via Note... I'd really appreciate that. I have art to send out.

So... during this FA crash i lost about 28 watchers. Pretty sad about it. I'll have to repost a couple things too. Oh well, i guess.

I'm back home in CO for a couple weeks, but I brought my art supplies. I will be working hard to get everything done. I might even be able to ship from here.
