Posted 12 years agohey guys! i've started using trello to better organize my commissions, so i can clear my queue out of my journal header.
i'll post a link to it more prominently on my page soon, but for now you can see your refs and things here.
i'm trying to get the hang of organizing it to my liking, but definitely appreciating it more than google docs!
and of course if you have a commission displayed there that you'd rather remain private (for gift reasons) i am happy to remove any info that might give away what it is. just let me know!

there was quite a bit more interest than my current to-do list really allows, so i'm setting up a waiting list if you can provide me with your refs + info! refs are absolutely necessary before i will give you a waiting list spot, as i need them to verify your characters will work for the type of commission

please include a visual reference, and outfit examples if the ref does not provide one! include a VERY BRIEF personality description for expression/pose purposes, too, please!
i may not accept characters i find too complex for the simple style these are.
i am okay with drawing furry, reptilian, feathered, insect/bug in general?? (ants, bees, etc.) and human characters!
i will not be drawing anything fetishy, sorry! this means no diaper, hyper, etc.; these are intended to be pretty clean!
payment is expected up front and through paypal. they are a base price of $10 USD, but may range up to $15 USD for complexity/anything i think may make the process take a little longer!

Posted 12 years agoi really want to do just human designs to sell tbh but i don't know if those . . . sell really . . . ?? would anyone be interested in those if i were to do them at some point? just humans, maybe based on stuff like animals but not with critter ears or anything. i just really like drawing humans and they're sort of my comfort zone and what i feel most at ease drawing, and i'd really like to design them for fun without having to keep any because god knows i don't need more characters

life update (sorta relevant to some of your interests)

basically my little sister disappeared for a week and some shit happened, she ended up having a couple seizures (unrelated to what comes next, but relevant) and i had to spend all of yesterday convincing her to go to a hospital. i'm three thousand miles away and had to negotiate between her and my mom to get her there so you can see why this might be difficult.
come to find out, she has a small brain tumor and i don't know what is going to happen right now, she hasn't seen the neurosurgeon yet but thus far they don't think it will require surgery right now. basically what i'm getting at is shit is a little crazy right now, and i'm not really asking for pity or condolences (though i do appreciate them, and thank you for your time!) i just wanted to keep everyone updated

Posted 12 years agoso my birthday is next month on thanksgiving and i've been debating doing a special sort of commission thing around that time, kinda for myself to indulge in things i enjoy (like drawing cats) and to give back to something i am really grateful for (like cats)
i haven't for sure settled on anything but i'm thinking maybe next month i'll do some commission specials where the funds i get will go toward donating to cat rescues?? i'll probably do something like a special deal if the character you'd have me drawing is feline (big cat or domesticated), you'd get 25% off the original price
just something i am thinking about because i've been wanting to do it for a while, and it seems like next month might be good for it!

you do not get a spot reserved until i have references. i do not reserve spots prior to getting refs, and i will not start on your commission until i have received payment.
i will send a payment request as soon as i've accepted your character!

art for faux fur
Posted 12 years agohey! so, some of you guys probably know my girlfriend tortle does art dolls, which are badass! but we have a pretty limited range of faux furs right now, and between trying to save to potentially move in the future and trying to cover groceries and living expenses we're pretty short on funds for more.
i was wondering if anyone might be interested in trading me faux fur for art? i would likely be doing sketchy things, or shaded waist-ups for them (so $15 value, or about $30 value), depending on the amount and quality of the fur!

i wish it wasn't because a lot of people seem to like this combo but it legit always makes me nauseated and is one of the fastest ways to give me a headache

Posted 12 years agothe last couple of days have been really stressful and i was either exhausted or sick, so i really apologize, again, for delays on things!
finished an iron artist today to get myself back in to the swing of things, so tonight's priorities are:
(updated oct. 5th. 2:30 EST)
-design trade for stormy
-icon for badkittyamy
-refine sketch for figgetywinks - worked on this!! refining a bit more, sending out tonight/when i get up to make sure it looks alright
i'll be working on other things as well but these are top priority and will be taken care of first because you guys have been hella patient and i don't know how to express my gratitude for it. thank you so so much!

i was thinking i may do speedpaints in a fairly rough and loose style, but i think it might be best to ask what you guys would be interested in? i'll figure out pricing and things when i determine what time everything takes, but i would love to know what sorts of things and styles you guys would be most interested in buying!

i’m tempted because tbh i really really love learning about the 20s and i’m fond of the fashion, i have a bit of a soft spot for it.
i’d absolutely allow women to be dressed in men’s clothes and vice versa, though i would likely not let anyone specify the outfit, just “here is my character they are -insert gender/sex- and i’d like them in men’s clothes”
