I saw everyone i wanted to on the first day which is good and bad as i really didnt see many of them for the rest of the con. Overall id say it was an ok con, better than the year before for me anyway. Every con has its ups and downs and things you wish would be different. General | Posted 10 years agoSitting here waiting to board the plane(just under an hour, or rather we take off in 70min) and of course thoughts are running through my head. Thinking will I have fun? Will I get a bad headache? What about mechanical issues? Regardless all the thinking isint important. But what is important is taking the time to appreciate those in your life and what you do have, we often(myself included) tend to take our friends, family and most important our parents for granted. Now those of you who know me well know I lost my mom in 09 to cancer. Lots I wish I could take back and do over but I can't worry about that. Now I'm not trying to make a pitty party and get attention. But think for a second, when was the last time you told your friends, parents and other important people in your life what they mean to you? I guess my point is that life is short, and we don't have time to stay mad at people or ignore people. If you have an issue with someone then tell them and get over it and move the hell on. Losing friends and family isint fun, we need to all stick together and help each other out when they need comfort or to smile. Even just saying hi can make someone's day. Just think about it

Will be interesting I'm sure as I've never stayed in TN for more than a couple hours so this will be something new but something that I am really looking forward to ^~^
IFC update thingumabob
General | Posted 10 years agoOK so IFC has totally been one of the best cons that i have go to so far and the only reason i ended up being able to make it was because of some awesome friends!!! Thanks again guys! I was in a positive mood like 95% of the time which usually doesn't happen at all lol. Though i got to hangout with and meet quite a few new furs, i really hope over time i get to know them better and hang out with them at future cons. Id have to say the person i hugged the most was probably X the Fox lol, then again he is another MI fur that i do see from time to time at meets and or cons, hes an awesome blue fluffy derp :p. I hung out with some people i never expected i would ever be able to and then again at the same time hung out with friends i met earlier in the year. Either way i had an amazing time. After AC i didnt want to hit another con until MFF, but I am really glad that i went to IFC; It has probably been the best con for me to date. Now i really want MFF to get here fast XD. Oh wells guess we gotta wait and see how things turn out. Until that time its just hanging with local furs and going to furmeets. WooHooo!!!!

General | Posted 10 years agoWell things have worked out and it looks like I will be headed to IFC Friday After work and will return home Sunday evening. It's looking like it should be a fun time and hopefully make a few new friends and get to hang with some I already know. Thanks to the people who made it possible for me to go by providing me a room in the hotel and a place offsite for Saturday night, you guys know who you are ^~^. Hope it goes well and I have a good time this time, guess we just have to wait and see how things pan out right?

General | Posted 10 years agoEverything lately seems to be falling apart around me and I'm not sure what to do. Do I let it happen? Or do I try and prevent it? It seems like things that shouldn't upset me are and things I've been hearing aren't helping. I just feel lost and in a dark tunnel alone. The light is there, but it is the end? Or is it just a train coming to shake things up? Only time will tell I guess, not sure why I'm exactly typing this. Maybe it's for me to feel better and just be able to say what's on my mind? I don't know especially since I'm being very vague. All I know is happiness is seeming harder to come by and I'm not exactly sure what to do. especially when I want to be with/around and make more friends, but at the same time I hate having them see me like this and I want to just stay away. I often wonder if others feel this way? Or it is just me? Idk way to many feelings and thoughts going in my head and it's kinda overwhelming. I think I'm going to bed. Goodnight
AC update
General | Posted 10 years agoWell I just had realized that I never did an update on anthrocon. It was quite and up and down con emotionally. I met a couple people that I have wanted to for some time and also became decent friends with a popufur so that was cool. Though I was walking around by myself for most of the con and if I wasn't I was helping out a friend or two with some problems(hope I did something, can only try I guess right?). I was sad when it was over, wish I had done more with my time and eganged more people in conversation and such but then again there is also next time correct?? Though I did end up meeting the maker that I chose for my suit which happened right there at the con. That was a good experience and now just the wait until it's done, around AC next year which I'm not sure if I will be attending or not. Guess it depends on who's going and what's going on in my life at that point. Oh wells.

Well I finally got in with a suit maker and i am like super duper stoked about this! The only thing now is the wait. By the time AnthroCon rolls around next year(Or very close around there) My suit should be completed which very well means that AC could be my first con suiting, which could be good and bad i suppose? Oh well im trying not to think that far in advance!! Gotta try and keep my mind off it to be completely honest.
On another note though I am really excited for MFF this year! Got a full room and should hopefully run into alot of friends again this time and hopefully make many more!!! I can never have to many friends. ^_^ There is a chance a friend will let me go around in his fullsuit as a partial but that is still way up in the air, who knows? Oh wells....i dont think theres anything else really? Though might take a trip down to Tennessee to see some furs i know down there in September...Idk guess we shall just wait and see what happens right?
