Probably not gonna be in touch on FA for a while, I'm going to try and stay off and focus more on my own drawings. Emphasis on try x3 Fa is part of my daily routine it seems. But yeah.. there's a whole life/art thing going on there and well..It's time I need to dedicate elsewhere to try and get things in order :> I even deleted all the games off my phone and my tablet!. so yeah. Stuff will pop up on fa once I'm satisfied with things. But until then find my stuff on twitter or I may make myself a tumblr at some point.

I only just watched it because it popped up on net flicks and yet again I can;t fail to be disappointed. I know it's an old arguement but I dunno.. I feel more vocal these days and as the film drew to an end I couldn't help but think "why the fuck did the first half an hour revolve around a dick I couldn't care less about trying to find a job...

I remember transformers and not once did i think "man these humans around the auto bots are awesome I want to see a movie based around them!" It's transformers... why did every kid love it? because of giant fucking robots who turned into cool shit!
Why did they make it a trilogy? the first.. turned out about passable. why did they try the same formula film after film? at least get me a less irritating actor.

Why do people not care about their films any more. remember when film makers were passionate about their films? when people chose actors not because they'd been in other films but because they fit the roles? just because someone's a good actor or was in a successful movie before doesn't mean they're right for every movie ever.

Does this mean I am a real artist now?!?!?!?! :D I knew I had at least two people who have copied the odd piece but I've stumbled onto a gallery and been linked to another who are blatantly tracing my work quite regularly X3 this isn't just a "that character looks like mine" it's like that pic.. and that pic, that pic too.. that.. isn't.. oh wait I see it there are certain little flaws in my work which I leave in because I love them which are even being copied x3

I'm not naming names because, well honestly..not too bothered and that is a huggggeeee EGO and a confidence booster! :D to know some of the work I've done that I was never that pleased with has been worthy of replication :>
But the fact it looks like they've been traced rather then just referenced does bother me a bit since they're being sold as commissions :/ that's just not right :P essentially getting paid for someone else's effort :P

So yay! I think I can officially consider myself a fully fledged artist now :D

So I'm stuck with my job for a bit longer I appreciate that. I've cut the shifts down to a tolerable number I can function through well enough. I was wondering about moving back to Nottingham but that means going back on benefits and depending on my parents. I would rather remain independent.

The problem that would be useful for me to address is the recovery after work. Often It takes me up to a day to get all my marbles back. during that time I'm pretty lethargic and the art I produce is unsatisfactory even if I'm adding to a picture I already started. So I want any advice on how to overcome this, that day I spend a bit groggy is valuable time I'm wasting.

Points to note:
- Erratic hours and shift patter make scheduling sleep neigh on impossible. some shifts are 14 hours, some shifts start at 1am some shifts finish at 1am.
- Getting my 5 a day. this last month I've pushed myself to finally break through into eating more fruit, less sugar.
- eat mostly oranges and pineapples for fruit. I.. do eat poridge but it bores me as a food :<
- I cycle to work (20 mins per trip) after which I spend 2 hours on average in a car to reach the site.
- I can unwind and get a fair enough deep sleep afterwards but I lack the ability to sleep past 8:30 am to catch up.

I'm looking around on the net of inter but thought I would throw this up here incase anyone has any suggestions. perhaps certain foods or perhaps eating certain things before I go to bed. more exercise? etc anything really would be useful.

You know what i really like the idea of.... an art study group.

Someone on conceptart suggested it to me and I really like the idea but so far my googlings aren't really coming up with anything that doesn't require me to be a student of whichever uni. Hell at the moment I would probably settle for someone I could just hang with while I draw, I'm struggling to keep art at the forefront of my thoughts where it needs to be, I have a talented housemate but I really don't want to be a pain in the butt like that :P

So yeah, any Norfolk artists who would like to meet up? or any Norwich artists already know a group?. To start with I'd prefer we meet up at the Norwich library but I have a decent sized front room I bet we could comfortably make our hangout ( flatmate permitting :> )


Additional thought: Would an internet study group be out of the question? I imagine something of a small private forum and access to twitter might produce something interesting.

I really haven't been gaming much at all lately mostly due to production of art :} and a pain in the arse job :o but i am sneaking onto mechwarrior for an hour now and again. it's one of those games i can have a few matches, have my fill but not get sucked into for the rest of the day :}

and when i did not have work i had a cold! not a bad one but enough to make me sleepy and a bit depressed.

a current working day consists of breakfast, hour of reddit, lunch, get ready, go to work, finish work 11 hours later, sleep, repeat :0 so yes.. tho i haven't lost sight of my goals, im still focusing on the tip of my to be completed list, i've.. redone it twice now but it's been good practice.

so yus thats my general update for the week because people were asking about commisions and about when i'd be streaming again. not sure.. im working for the next 5 days, hopefully sunday will involve a trial shift for another job a,, 9 till 5 job.. i havent had one of those in years.. my jobs have typically been evening work or early mornings. so fingers crossed.

In the interest of organization and my own sanity I'm going to be wiping clear my commisions, the.. waiting list.. is nuts.. very often I find myself not drawing because I'm just staring at all these random tid bits I appreciate the help from some of my friends and people are of course welcome to just grab another slot when I offer them.

This is for my own piece of mind mostly, The only ones I'm not wiping clear are those who have already paid which is why I'm asking just in case I missed anyone who's already paid. My plan is to focus just on these and live stream sketches so see below for those I clearly remember but I'm pretty sure that's everyone.

New year so I felt like a new ramble :}

I rather enjoyed my annual gift exchange period and my alteration of the final digit on the calender day. I didn't really get anywhere near as much as I'd hoped to get done, my parents new house doesn't have internet yet and the lil tablet I took.. was rather uncomfortable to do coursework on so I'm sorta gonna be invisi a bit playing with these art programs playing catchup and devoting some serious practice for belated Christmas pics ^^;

Also.. IRL is beckoning me. I got a new job just before I left, I start this Friday and the job sounds dull but... pretty well paid.. and also come home to another offer of interview.. which.. involving working in a medieval castle sounds much more fun. So right now I'm being tugged more towards the offline world which I definitely need to indulge in.

I'm unsure how my year is going to shape up :( but at the same time looking forward to the change of pace. Hopefully I can balance out this work to give me the time to draw and be social :> there are many out there I want to pounce and pester a lot this year :}

It looks like that's about it for me this year, i may be online a little bit tomorrow but early Saturday I'm on a train back to family places and as of yet, they have no internet >:0 my parents moved not long after I moved and their new place has was only half finished so apart from twitter ( tieldraggy there too )you probably won't see me online (i hate using Skype and messengers over a phone :p ).

That will be it for art from me also till next year, Would have liked to get more done but it's not worked out quite that way i.e. got a new job interview and I'm going back for a dry run so to speak :> which will take up.. most of my tomorrow. not even any time to get some Christmas pics done :} really wanted today and tomorrow to have been stream days but present wrapping and packing for my parents (and my job trial of course).

I'm feeling pretty darn motivated at the minute, hopefully I'll be up there on the high board sporting a bathing cap and some very snug speedos ready to take the high dive with a triple somersault into the commission's. Won;t have much to post when i get back, my tablets great for doodling ideas but not the best for finer details and polishing but we'll see i guess :>

I'm getting back on track, sorry for my sudden delay, losing a hard drive can do that :o but i was able to get all my information off it without any trouble and I had to dedicate a chunk of time to some coursework which is done now. even got my replacement phone.. which is better then my original phone by about £100 >>; it's got a 3d camera! lg optimums 3D.

I think thats all, i'm just getting use to the tablet, fresh windows install, all my settings changed, feels wierddddd :x

I'm so worn out.. and my headache is now killing me.]

I have been struggling the last two days trying to get my pc to a useable state, it's been dragging it's heals no matter what programs I use, So I've had to come to the conclusion that yes.. the hard drive is about to die. I've zoomed out and got a new hard drive, I've still got to transfer all my files across and given this nice little headache i have I probably wont be getting up to much tonight.

I am a mellow guy most of the time, It takes a lot to get me irritated but computers never fail to make me grind my teeth and last 2 days are no exception, the story of my life to date has been when i really am ready to dedicate myself to some hard work.. shit happens.. completely out of the blue crap. sorry all I'll get to it as soon as my headache goes.
