Settling in as a California fur
Posted 4 years agoSo, now that I've finally gotten kind of settled into my new living situation (sharing a house in California with Zmey and a few other awesome furs)...
...my drawing inspiration is really starting to pick up.
I'll be posting some of my latest work as time goes on. (Eventually, I hope, getting to the point of having my comic ready to start on Patreon and Subscribestar!)
It may be slow progress... I'm still recovering from the absolutely exhausting day job I had for the past couple years, while also getting ready to start a new day job, simultaneously working on various other arts and crafts and writing projects, and having some difficulty concentrating my focus on one thing for very long. My brain has been weird lately, sometimes tired and listless, sometimes hyperfocused and obsessive, and not really going in one coherent direction.
But I'm loving CA and loving our new place. My life is turning around, and I'm sure it'll get going somewhere good, even if the going is slow right now.
And at least my furry-art inspiration isn't just dead for months at a time anymore.
I've been drawing, and I've been enjoying it.
And you'll be seeing it.

Sorry about the deleted pic
Posted 6 years agoHey! I'm sorry but I had to take down a picture because I posted it too soon.
I've been posting art I'm doing for
zmeydros' Patreon, and I wasn't supposed to post that one until Zmey publicly posts the story that it's based on.
I'll repost it in the next few weeks with a link to the story. In the meantime, support Zmey on Patreon and see everything when it's created!
https://www.patreon.com/zmeydros
Things are going mostly well. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with how many projects I wanna do and how little time I have to do them, but I'm doing my best to stay occupied!

I'm baaaaaack
Posted 6 years agoHi.
I'm not on hiatus anymore.
It's not because I feel any better. Life is still weirdly complicated and right at this moment I have a killer sore throat and had to work a full day at my exhausting day job anyway because no one else was gonna be there. It's been a day of doing more than one person's worth of work on less than one person's worth of energy, and all I really feel like doing is sleeping for about a year, but I still have three more days before I get a day off.
It's not because I have fewer distracting projects or more motivation than before. I'm now into freakin' sewing and crocheting in addition to everything else, and I just had to give Zmeydros my Twitter and Tumblr and Facebook passwords to take a break from being addicted to stuff that made me miserable and accomplished nothing.
It's not because I've really figured anything out. I'm in the process of figuring out digital art, and it's going better than last time I tried, but I still have a looooong way to go.
But I'm HERE. And I am gonna try to make some kind of career out of this art.
Thanks to the people at ANE this year for inspiring me to come back.

Taking a long break
Posted 9 years agoI am going to go on a hiatus soon, due to a strenuous day job and several other side projects that are taking my time and energy. I don't know when I will be active in furry fandom again. Feel free to stop supporting the Patreon, because there won't be anything there for a while.
But I will still draw commissions, if you contact me and ask. If I don't reply here, try tiliquain at g mail dot com.

The Tishen Transformation: Latest news
Posted 10 years agoHello FA!
Zmey and I have been busy with a lot of stuff: work and school, local art shows, and trying to figure out how to do our upcoming Patreon.
We are going to launch a joint Patreon one of these days, in hopes that we can get enough supporters to take the edge off the crushing poverty that comes from Zmey going back to college instead of having a job. (We are hoping his degree will eventually make us enough money to be worth it, but for the moment we are a single-income household.)
Planning this has taken a while, since I didn't want to start a Patreon until I felt that I could get myself to produce art regularly. I needed to get to a point where I was enjoying drawing again, and not being disappointed with the results so often.
And:
I think we've finally resolved the problem that was making the updates of The Tishen Transformation comic so few and far between.
See, I had been feeling discouraged whenever I tried to draw a comic page, because I feel that digital techniques work better for my comics than traditional techniques, and my digital drawing skills have been so far behind my standards for artistic quality.
But Zmey kept encouraging me, and, with a looooot of pushing, I drew more pages until I managed to find a system of digital drawing that didn't totally frustrate and disappoint me every time I did it.
So...
I have pages up through #43 drawn, as of the time of this writing.
I am going to post them, over the next several weeks.
But the drawing gets worse before it gets better. I tried lots of things, and not all of them worked well. It's not until page 43 that my digital comic drawing style actually starts to turn into something I like.
Luckily, that's also when the actual herm transformation happens.
So: Bear with me. And if you don't like my digital comic style now, check back when page 43 posts and maybe you'll like it better.
Anyway: now I have a technique that 1. I enjoy doing, and 2. I usually like the results of. So I foresee myself having a much easier time continuing the comic now! Once I get settled into a productive routine, we'll begin the Patreon.

Sorry again for being so... absent
Posted 10 years agoI apologize for not doing the requests thing in December last year. And I apologize for not posting much of anything since then (even though my mate
zmeydros has been posting tons of my newer art with hir more recent stories).
Basically, I've been feeling discouraged. I finally got the new tablet I'd been saving up for, but every time I draw a digital picture on it, I feel disappointed because it's not as good as I want it to be.
I still LOVE pencil drawing and still plan to keep doing a lot of it, but I wanted the tablet because the digital medium is better for very frequent, very complex things like comics. I've been focusing heavily on practicing my tablet drawing for the last few months. But the learning curve is steep.
I just need to adapt to the digital medium, and I am improving, but it's slow progress and I'm not enjoying it very much while I work to improve. I'm also having some seasonal depression and various other things are worrying and/or discouraging me. So I haven't felt like posting much lately.
So, TL;DR: I have been drawing, but haven't felt like posting it much because it's digital and I'm not satisfied with my digital skills yet. I will gradually be posting stuff; I just don't feel that excited about it. (And I know my digital art doesn't suck; I'm just dealing with this whiny part of my brain that wants it to be up to some ridiculously high standards that it hasn't reached yet.)

Requests [Closed now!]
Posted 11 years agoFurther edit, Dec 28:
Winners are chosen! There were twelve entries, and I would have rolled a D-12 but I couldn't find one, so I rolled a D-20 and rejected any rolls that were above 12 or had already been rolled. Anyway, this is what came up:
Thava
idejtauren
drakeagle
Thanks for playing, everyone!
Edit: Closed now! Thanks for the comments, everyone! I will randomly select three winners from those who replied, and post the results as soon as my holiday chaos has died down. Merry Christmas!
Doing my December gift-giving a bit differently this year! As I promised in my profile, I am opening up for a few requests, on both my FurAffinity page and my SoFurry page. If you'd like a special holiday present from me, this is your chance.
But this year, I’m trying something new, so that the giveaway won’t be biased in favor of those who are able to spend a lot of time every day on FA and SF. I’m going to select a few winners from all the people who post in response to this journal over the next few days.
Here are the rules:
1. I will draw free pictures for 3 people on SoFurry, and 3 people on FurAffinity. I will not draw two requests for the same person in the same year, so don't post more than one request.
2. For a chance to get a drawing, post your request as a response to this post. Comments will be open until the beginning of Christmas Day (Dec 25). Then, I will randomly select three people from those who responded, and draw their requests!
3. I don't draw anything involving gore or bodily wastes, and I don't draw rape or underage porn, but most other subjects are fine with me.
4. Tell me exactly which character or characters you'd like me to draw, and what they look like (link to reference pics if possible). If any of the characters are not yours, make sure you have permission.
5. You get to decide whether I do the drawings with pencils on paper, or digitally. With pencil drawings, there will be a hardcopy original. Let me know if you'd like me to mail you the original (you pay for postage), or keep it in my portfolio, or put it up for sale on Furbuy and split the profits with you if it sells. (If you don't specify, I'll just keep it in my portfolio.)
6. After these requests are complete, I will be closed for requests and open only for commissions.
7. I will remain closed for requests until next December, when I will post a journal entry like this one and draw requests for the first few people who reply to it.
8. The rest of the year, I will be accepting commissions. For my commissions information, see my profile.

Making some progress with digital drawing
Posted 12 years agoIn a moment I'm posting the latest hand-drawn page of the comic, and I'm thinking this will mark the end of Part 1 of this volume, and (I hope) next week I will have a digitally drawn page to start off the second half!
I've done a couple practice drawings on the computer and they've turned out quite well, so I expect I'll be able to draw a decent digital comic, and gradually become better and better at it as time goes on.
From what I can tell so far, my digital drawing style isn't so different from my pencil-drawing style. When I draw on the computer, it looks more like a painting than a sleek digital creation. Things might change as I gain more experience, but I have to say I like the fact that my computer drawings still resemble traditional art, because part of what defines me in the furry fandom is that I do so much traditional art.
Oh-- and I'm in heat again. I get horny in the winter, for whatever reason, and the sort of thing I post tends to change a bit. I might end up writing some more of the Amok Time Lord stories, or maybe I'll finally get around to drawing that Doctor Who porn I've been thinking about. But I promise I won't forget about the Tishen Transformation!

Back from the void for a while
Posted 12 years agoI've been getting more and more frustrated with my attempts to draw comics with paper and pencils. For some weird reason I'm finding it harder and harder. My pencils break, my proportions turn out wrong, my workspace becomes a barely navigable mess of pens, pencils, erasers and paper. I'm not sure what exactly has changed, but for some reason it's getting a lot harder to motivate myself to draw.
I'm starting to get serious about trying to gain some digital skills. I've bought a laptop, and a Monoprice drawing tablet that connects to it, and I'm going to start trying stuff out in Paint Tool Sai.
I will certainly still do colored pencil art... I seem to have less trouble with pencils when it's something separate from the comic. I like being able to sell my originals, and so I will continue using my pencils when I want to draw a one-off, independent scene that I can sell. But for installments of a regular series like The Tishen Transformation, where I have to draw the same characters over and over, fitting them into small panels... I may be switching to digital for a while.

Defeated the scanner color problem! Working on my motivation
Posted 12 years agoWell, I finally figured out a solution to the problem where my scanner was making all my orange colored pencils look red. When editing the document in Gimp, I had to go to "Colors" and then "Hue/Saturation," tick the box for Red, and move the Hue slider to the right until the red looked more orange. Very counter-intuitive-- I would have thought that increasing the hue of red would make it more red. I'm not sure how I even thought of trying it.
I've been rather unmotivated to draw lately. Not sure why. Zmeydros says I should just push myself to draw whether I feel like it or not, and he's right-- once I get past the initial laziness, I usually get really into the drawing.
But still, sometimes I'm forcing myself to draw for a long time before I start liking it. And when I draw while feeling unmotivated, I don't draw quite as well. Which is why my unmotivation perpetuates itself: I think, "I don't feel like drawing, so I won't be able to draw well, so why bother." I'm very thankful to Zmey for encouraging me just to keep drawing, without worrying about whether it'll look great. It almost always turns out better than I expect.

Requests (closed)
Posted 12 years agoWell, it's December again. And as usual in December, I'm getting utterly exhausted at work, and dealing with various family and friend issues on top of it all, leaving me often feeling like doing nothing when I get home. Sorry to anyone who has messaged me and hasn't heard back from me in the last couple months.
However, I'm still going to try and do my December gift-giving. As I promised in my profile, I am opening up for a few requests, on both my FurAffinity page and my SoFurry page. If you'd like a special holiday present from me, this is your chance.
Here are the rules:
1. I will draw free (non-colored, simple) pictures for the first 3 people who post requests in response to my journal post on SoFurry, and the first 3 people who post requests in response to my journal post on FurAffinity. I will not draw two requests for the same person in the same year, so don't post more than one request.
2. I would rather give new people a chance at a request instead of drawing more art for people who have already gotten gift art from me. I'm not saying you can't post a request here if you've already gotten art from me, but try not to do it every single year.
3. Due to my extreme tiredness and busyness, I won't be able to draw colored art or art that is too complicated. I also don't draw anything involving gore or bodily wastes, and I don't draw rape or underage porn, but most other subjects are fine with me.
4. Tell me exactly which character or characters you'd like me to draw, and what they look like (link to reference pics if possible). If any of the characters are not yours, make sure you have permission.

Back from the time vortex
Posted 13 years agoWell, our lives are finally settling down a bit after that whole giant whirlwind of stuff that prevented us from having any time.
We've gotten all our stuff moved into our new condo. We're back from Gaylaxicon, which was fun.
And over the next several days I'm going to be posting a whole lot of pictures I drew at the con, and at various furry gatherings I attended over the last few very busy weeks.

Cons and comics and condos
Posted 13 years agoSo much stuff has happened. We went to an anime con and a general sci-fi/fantasy con, and there's a little mini furry con in our area coming up oh-so-soon, followed by a GLBT-themed sci-fi con later in the year. Having much fun with local furs and other geeks. (I wore my Dalek costume to the last two cons, and everyone loved it. Even at the anime con. Even more strangely, I wasn't the only Dalek at the anime con. I guess the two fandoms overlap a lot.)
I'm happy to have finished the first volume of The Tishen Transformation. Looking through it, I can see how much my drawing skills improved over the course of the volume. I haven't mastered every angle and shade, but I've gotten tons better, overall. I'm looking forward to the second volume, which Zmey is currently writing the text for. That's where Heather (Tiliquain) will gain her herm dragon form, and the ability to change shape and sex whenever she wishes.
I'm also excited about the third volume, which I already got inspired and wrote the text for. It's where they meet Gwen the purple dragon. Except when they meet her, she's a human, and she's under a very strange curse: without her control, she jumps randomly between parallel universes. Tili and Zmey end up in a race against time to break the spell before she disappears again... and of course there's lots of sex and transformation.
I've been very inspired to draw lately, and have been working on lots of my own ideas as well as a few commissions. Lots of my stuff is up on FurBuy now.
And we're moving. For real this time. The whole thing about moving out of town the other year... that didn't work out, we ended up staying where we were. But this time we're moving to a much nicer place in our own town, a condominium that's big and nice enough for us to have furry parties at our home and everything. I'm really happy.

Paypal Alternatives
Posted 13 years agoWell, I still have a Paypal account, but it's best to be prepared-- with all the stories I've heard about Paypal accounts shutting down, I thought I'd better have a few alternatives lined up just in case.
So, just so everyone knows-- I also have an Alertpay account and an Amazon Payments account, and if my Paypal account ever goes away I can be paid with those.
Safety in numbers, I guess-- any major payment service is big and bureaucratic and runs the risk that you'll be a victim of crappy customer service at some point... but the more options you have, the better.

Lotsa Updates, and $7 originals up for sale on FurBuy
Posted 13 years agoHappy Spring, everyone.
I'm doing well. Busy with many things-- I really don't have time to RP anymore-- but happy.
I'm buying a tablet so I can start doing some digital art. To help make up for that expense, I'm having a sale on FurBuy, with a lot of my older originals up for $7 apiece. Check it out here: http://www.furbuy.com/seller/tiliquain.html
The "Tishen Transformation" comic is coming along nicely. This volume is almost done-- it's basically just setting the scene for future volumes, which will have both more plot AND more sex. (Best of both worlds!)
I'm getting very, very much into Doctor Who and Torchwood. I went to a convention as a Dalek a few weeks back, and it was amazing; so many people wanted to take my picture. I've written a bit of fanfiction, and have started posting it at http://www.whofic.com/viewuser.php?uid=16064 (A Teaspoon and and Open Mind), as well as here.
I also made a silly music video about Jack Harkness and the Doctor (yes, my video editing skills need a lot of improvement) :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbN0AZOn4FQ
Oh, and I'm learning to use a sewing machine, and might try making my own dragon suit one of these days. These are the fabrics I'm considering:

REQUESTS (Slots are now filled)
Posted 14 years agoWell, happy December, everyone. As it says on my profile, I give a few gifts around this time, so hurry up and be one of the first four requesters!
Rules:
1. I will draw four pieces of free art for people on FA-- http://www.furaffinity.net/user/tiliquain/ --and four pieces of free art for people on SF-- http://tiliquain.sofurry.com/ --on a first-come-first-served basis. Only one piece of art per person. And I would prefer not to do free art for people who have gotten free art from me before... let some new people get a chance.
2. Last year I ended up working way too hard to complete all the requests, and so this year I'm going to have to place some complexity restrictions. These will be sketches or inks. No more than 3 characters. No complex background. No color.
3. My usual squicks apply. I don't feel comfortable drawing rape or underage porn or gore or body wastes. Other than that, I'll draw a lot of weird stuff, so don't be afraid to ask-- the worst I can do is say no, and I'm very kind and polite; I won't laugh at you or yell at you, no matter what you ask for.
4. Since I draw with pencils and paper, there will be a hardcopy original. Let me know what you'd like me to do with it. I can mail it to you for a flat fee of $5.00 USD, if you live in the USA, and $15.00 if you live elsewhere. Or I might be able to sell it on FurBuy and split the profits with you. Or else I can just keep it in my portfolio. Tell me what you prefer.
So: here are the slots. (Now filled!)

Thank you
Posted 14 years agoThanksgiving is today, in the USA where I live. What we celebrate here and now is one of many similar festivals-- Canada has its own Thanksgiving in October; Britain has Harvest Festival, Germany has Erntedankfest, and so on. Regardless of nation, the time of harvest is a good time to think about what we're thankful for.
I don't celebrate the USA's specific Thanksgiving story about European colonists and American natives. It makes me think about too many sad things that have happened in our nation's history. Instead I try to celebrate the spirit of the holiday as it's celebrated internationally. I like to think of all those different Thanksgiving days as the same basic thing: a time to meditate on the ways in which you are lucky, and take some time to be glad about the good things in your life.
For some people that may be difficult; many of us have hard lives with few blessings to count. I count the fact that I have a steady job. But even so, I have a bit of trouble enjoying Thanksgiving when I know that the next day will be crazy busy at work. I work at one of those stores that are opening ridiculously early on Black Friday. Luckily my shift starts much later, but it's still going to be a long day. I can only hope that the increased hours will spread out the customers so that any given moment isn't as crazy as it would be otherwise.
And, of course, I count all of you guys. 645 watchers are a lot of blessings to count. I'm happy that Zmeydros and I have gotten started on the Tishen Transformation comic, which is very fun to draw, and it's great to see how much people like it. This volume of the comic is pretty much just a fun porno, setting up the scene and the characters of our universe, but we already have plans for a second and third volume that will have actual plots. (Don't worry, there will still be plenty of sex! And for anyone who isn't into the comic, I assure you that I will continue doing the other types of art I've done, as well.)
So, thank you. And have a great Thanksgiving, wherever you are.

A kitsune in pain
Posted 14 years agoA nice guy,
scarskitsune, is going through some really hard times. They are hard times that I can relate to, since 1. my mate has really bad insomnia sometimes, and 2. I know more than one person who's having trouble getting a job. I think we all know people with health issues and job issues these days, and whenever we can take some time to be supportive, it really helps.
http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2800931/
flyingfire made a journal that describes very well what
scarskitsune is going through, and what he needs. I am not sure what I can say to him, since I am never good at consoling people in pain... and I can't promise to be there for him whenever he needs comforting, since i don't really know him and I have a busy life with many people who want me to be there for them. He said he doesn't want people to promise support they can't give. But I might donate a bit of money to help him out, and I'm doing this journal post to spread the word about him.
Sometimes even if you're not close to someone, you can really feel their pain. This is one of those times.

Possibly going to start doing some computer art
Posted 14 years agoThinking about going digital using an iPad 2 and Sketchbook Pro, but the maximum canvas size (on the iPad) would be 2048 x 1536 which is 3.1MP. The primary disadvantage of a canvas that size is that you can only print the art as big as 8X10 without it starting to look bad. Not even sure it will work for me, but it's something I'm thinking about.
I'll still be doing some traditional art, in any case, because I like having originals for at least some of my work. And it's possible that I might eventually get another program for the iPad that allows a larger canvas size than Sketchbook Pro. I'm not sure what the options are, though.
Anyone have any thoughts? If I did computer art that couldn't be any bigger than 2048 x 1536, do you think I'd still get any commissions?

SONA
Posted 14 years agoSONA is trending on Twitter. Apparently it means "State of the Nation Address." Specifically, one given by Benigno Aquino III of the Philippines. Wonder what his fursona would be...
Life is kicking my butt, also, happy birthday me!
Posted 14 years agoHi everyone, and thanks for recent faves and watches.
I just finished another fox-lady drawing, and I'm working on another one of Kalliel and Kurswain... but other than that, I've been swamped with work, travel, plans for more travel, personal anxiety issues, and stress over the success or failure of my creative pursuits outside the furry world. I'll post here when I can, but things may continue to be slow.
Maybe it has to do with my 30th birthday, which happened recently. Maybe I'm stressed and depressed because I'm coming to terms with no longer being a youthful 20-something. I do find myself thinking too much about my own mortality, lately, as well as the mortality of the planet Earth and the universe in general. How many people do you know who stress about the heat-death of the universe? I'll try and get more drawing done, because creating things distracts me from thoughts like that, and I could certainly use some distraction.

Swimsuit Commissions are open! Also, $5 Sketches!
Posted 14 years agoWell, I've recently posted a bunch of bikini drawings, and I think I've gotten enough practice that I'll do just fine drawing swimsuit commissions for anyone who wants them. Of course, commissions of all sorts are always open for me, but I feel particularly confident about doing swimsuit commissions at the moment.
A picture like the ones I've been posting would count as "simple background," so, going by the commission info on my profile, I could do it for $25 (in color, one character, $5 per additional character).
I can also do:
colored pencil drawings with no background: $20 for one character, $5 per extra character
colored pencil drawings with complex background: $30 for one character, $5 per extra character
graphite drawings: $15 for one character, $3 per extra character
colored pencil transformation scenes and comics: $40 per page
graphite transformation scenes and comics: $20 per page
Colored Pencil Character Reference Sheets: $40
(See my profile for more details. As always, if you're okay with me putting the drawing up for auction on FurBuy, I'll split the profits with you if it sells... so there's a chance to make some of your money back.)
And, I'm also introducing a new category: $5 Sketches!
These will be simple line drawings, not shaded like my graphite drawings. Here's an example:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9698978/kur.....inoutline1.jpg
(note: that example is not a swimsuit drawing, it's a NSFW nude female, but I can do swimsuit drawings in that style too!)
They will cost $5 for one character, and an extra $1 per additional character. For now, I am making 5 slots available for anyone who wants to buy one. After those are done, we'll see.

Quiz about being a girl
Posted 14 years ago1.Do you sleep in your bra?
No, I sleep as naked as possible.
2. Do you sleep with socks on?
Nope.
3. Would you rather sleep alone or with someone else?
I prefer sleeping with
zmeydros. I get lonely otherwise.
4. Do you enjoy drama?
I enjoy plays and the theater. Real people being miserable and having conflicts with each other... no way.
5. Are you a girly-girl?
In some ways yes, other ways no. I love jewelry and pretty dresses, but rarely wear them. I love cute cuddly animals, but I also like creepy crawlies and mean bitey critters. I have strong emotions and I'm not afraid to talk about them, but I analyze them pretty logically and I realize when they're irrational.
6. Who was the last person you hugged?
zmeydros
7. Small or large purse?
Large. A bag with all of life's necessities in it is the ultimate expression of independence. Men like to feel independent and self-sufficient, but their refusal to carry purses dooms them to a life of asking women for help.
8. Are you short?
5'6". Tall enough.
9. Do you like somebody?
I like most people pretty well.
10.Does your Facebook password have to do with a boy?
Using passwords that mean something is a stupid security risk. If I ever put a real word in a password, I replace so many of the letters with numbers and punctuation that it's not even a word anymore.
11. Do you care if your socks are dirty?
Yeah, I'd say I care. I won't put on dirty socks unless I have no clean ones. But if I'm wearing dirty socks, I don't panic and obsess about changing them.
12. Do you think you’re conceited?
Somewhat. I consider myself pretty great, but I try to act humble when talking about myself, because bragging is rude. I'm also very aware of the flaws I do have.
13. Do you dress up on Halloween?
I love dressing up on Halloween, especially the experience of making my own costume. I haven't gotten a chance to in a while, though.
14. Are you double jointed?
I have more than two joints. I think the body has 230 or something, doesn't it? (Seriously, "double-jointed" is a silly word. But yes, I can bend my joints more than most people can.)
15. Where is the weirdest place you have slept?
Standing up in a phone booth in Switzerland. (I was 11, on a vacation in Europe with my mom, and she had just woken me up at the crack of dawn in the youth hostel, and we went to the phone booth to call home, and I was so freakin' tired I just slept through it. Yeah, that's the sort of stuff my childhood was made of.)
16. Has anyone touched/smacked your butt in the past 24 hours?
I think
zmeydros has.
17. Is there any type of rumour going around about you?
Not that I know of.
18. Do you call anybody by their last name?
Nope. At my job, everyone's on a first-name basis, and same goes for my family and friends. Only people I ever refer to by their last names are famous people, like Freud or Asimov or Einstein.
19. How many guys will read this just because it says "Girl Confessions"?
It doesn't. I changed the title.
[ ] I do wear make up.
[x] I have cried in a movie theater. (I was about seven, and I was watching "Turner and Hooch," and someone told me the dog died at the end of the movie. I eventually left the theater and went to watch "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" instead.)
[ ] I can put mascara on without opening my mouth. (Don't know. Never tried.)
[X] I get jealous. (Not sexually. I don't mind an open relationship. But if someone I care about is spending more time with another person than me, I'll get jealous of the attention.)
[X ] I think Johnny Depp is sexy.
[ ] JUDE LAW FAG (what the hell does that mean?)
[X] I love to laugh.
[ ] I like death/grind/black metal.
[ ] I like rap.
[ ] I like techno.
[] I like country.
[X] I carry a purse.
[X] I'd be lost without my computer.
[ ] I own a Spice Girls CD.
[ ] I own a Britney Spears CD.
[ ] I own a boy band CD. (I don't really care much one way or another about music, I guess.)
[X ] I get bored watching football.
[ ] I've never been called a spoiled brat. (I was a spoiled brat. But it was because I was such a horrible kid that everyone was scared of not giving me everything I wanted.)
[ ] Guys are confusing. (No more confusing than girls.)
[X] I've been called a bad influence (On my little cousins, when I was a kid.)
[X] I have/had a piercing other than my ears. (I used to pierce my fingernails, for a little while in my teens. But I've never pierced any actual living flesh, not even my ears. I was scared of needles all through childhood, and once I grew up, I didn't wear earrings enough to be worth it.)
Come on ladies, be truthful!
1. What colour is the bra that you're wearing?
White. I also have pink and blue ones. I don't choose bras based on color. I buy whatever's on the clearance rack and doesn't have an underwire. (Underwires eventually break through the cloth and stab you in the armpit. I don't like being stabbed in the armpit.)
2. Do you prefer light or dark haired guys?
Don't care.
3. Are you currently frustrated with a boy?
Nope.
4. What's one thing a guy can do to make you like them?
Be a nerd.
5. Do you have a best friend?
zmeydros is my best friend and lover.
6. Have you ever had your heart broken?
Yes, by various catastrophes in my life, but never by a lover. I was lucky that my first serious love affair turned into a lasting happy marriage.
7. Have you ever thought of having plastic surgery?
Thought about it? I think about the concept sometimes, but never as something I would do.
8. Do you like your life?
Yup. I think it could be better, but that's good too, because I have things to look forward to.
10. Has one of your friends ever stolen a boyfriend from you?
Nope.
11. Have you ever jumped in the pool with your clothes on?
Not that I remember. I have jumped in a lake without anything on, though. (Late at night, last summer, with :zmeydros:.)
12. Do you have more friends that are girls or boys?
I tend to get along better with guys. But I don't have that many friends IRL, really.
14. Have you ever slapped a boy in the face?
As a kid I slapped, punched and bit lots of people, boys and girls. As a grown-up I've gotten control of my violent side.
15. What are your biggest fears?
Conflict. I'll do almost anything to avoid getting in a fight with someone. I think my childhood left me with bad memories.
16. Have you ever cried yourself to sleep?
Probably, but not that I can remember right now.
17. Have you ever not been able to get someone off of your mind?
Yup.
18. Do you believe in the saying “once a cheater, always a cheater?"
I don't think any rule about people is universally true. Some cheaters will do it again and some won't. I think if you're the kind who can't help cheating again, it's probably a bad idea to try and live in a closed relationship in the first place.
19. Have you ever had a good feeling about something?
Of course.
20. Do you ever wish you were famous?
I'd like to be famous enough to make a living off my creative activities, and get lots of good attention, but not so famous that I get stalkers and hate mail every day.
21. Are you currently missing someone?
Yup.
THIS GUY OR THAT GUY? PICK ONE:
Cowboy or Gangster?
Ew.
Preppy or Punk?
I'm a nerd. I barely even know what those mean.
Face or Body?
Face.
Good cook or take you out a lot?
Good cook.
Sweet or sexy?
Sweet
Armani or Abercrombie?
Thrift store.
Contacts or glasses?
Glasses.
No, I sleep as naked as possible.
2. Do you sleep with socks on?
Nope.
3. Would you rather sleep alone or with someone else?
I prefer sleeping with

Yup.

I'm a nerd. I barely even know what those mean.

Sweet
Armani or Abercrombie?
