TimberFoxyA marriage proposal
Posted 14 years agoYou've always been there for me. When I've needed comfort you've been the one to give it. Your softness calms me, when we embrace in hug. You warm me when I'm cold, and you cool me when I'm in heat. We've shared many a moment together, days and nights.
When it comes to happiness and pleasure in my life, I only want you....
Fluffy pillow, will you marry me?

Music torrenters?
Posted 14 years agoLooking for some VERY hard to find music (like stuff that mainly exists still only in vinyl) and I'd like to know where I might have the best chances of spotting it, as well as torrents compatible with iTunes.
Thanks. (New to this because I normally prefer buying haha.)

Need some pointers
Posted 14 years agoTrying to practice my anthro drawing some, but I still can't get the facial structure down with snouts being involved. Can anyone point me to some possible tutorials that might exist that I can refer to while I'm honing my work?
I finally just saw what they did there
Posted 14 years agoI don't know if it's meant to be that way or a wild coincidence, or if anyone else has caught this besides me, but once I saw it I went excited.
In the first two generations of Pokemon games (and their remakes), there is in fact a pattern in their Gyms.
GENERATION I:
Pewter (rock), Cerulean (water), Vermilion (electric), Celadon (grass), Fuschia (poison), Saffron (psychic), Cinnabar (fire), Viridian (ground)
The pattern in Generation I is that the preceding Gym has a type disadvantage over the succeeding Gym in either offense or defense (except for one gap):
Rock > Water > Electric > Grass > Poison > Psychic
Fire > Ground
GENERATION II:
Violet (flying), Azalea (bug), Goldenrod (normal), Ecruteak (ghost), Cianwood (fighting), Olivine (steel), Mahogany (ice), Blackthorn (dragon)
The pattern is the exact reverse in Generation II, with the preceding Gym having a type -advantage- over the succeeding Gym in either offense or defense (except for one gap):
Flying < Bug
Normal < Ghost < Fighting < Steel < Ice < Dragon
Isn't that freaky???!!

It needs to be done
Posted 14 years agoOur old dog is 14.5 years old. She can hardly get up to walk and she goes all over herself almost all the time. Today she manages to have that happen 4 times.
Mom doesn't want to put her down because "she's not ready" but if you look in that dog's eyes, she's suffering. Our old cat was far worse by the time we put him down three years ago, and we really shouldn't wait for the dog to get that bad.
It really needs to be done now. Because not only has she pretty much urinated on the whole living room (which I'm surprised doesn't smell worse), but we may as well be dwindling on the water in our well system because of the constant cleaning. I love that dog as much as anyone but enough is enough, we need to put her down. And if Mom doesn't want to budge on the issue then I'll do it myself.

New account for comic!
Posted 14 years agoI have set up a new account tonight for Ears and Tail to get ready for its return next year. In the meantime, all of the comic's pages will be moved slowly from this account to that one, and the account icon is currently in the works and will be ready tomorrow.
I'm not going to give the page name out publicly. If you want it, send me a note and I will give it to you.
To the people who I have blocked from this account, you are blocked there as well, as a forewarning. Attempt to watch the page will result in a report to moderators for harrassment towards me, as the quotation from this front page update states:
"We have made a change to blocklists per user request. Users are no longer permitted to respond to you on the site in comments if they are on your block list. This should help mitigate disruptive users.
If you should have any issue with blocked users able to comment towards you please let us know via the Ticket system.
On that note, a reminder:
If a user has blocked you, and you persist to harass, poke, prod or instigate issues towards that user, we may be forced to reenact the ending of Raiders of the Lost Ark on your account. And we don't want to do that. Nobody wants that."
Let us hope that is made clear to you.

Considering a comeback
Posted 14 years agoI'm contemplating the return of "Ears and Tail" for at least one more chapter, and launching a separate account exclusively for the comic and art revolving around it. The work would start once 2012 comes around.
Show your support
Posted 14 years agohttp://animaltracks.today.msnbc.msn.....x-penguin-pair
The idea of splitting up a gay penguin pair is utterly ridiculous. In the eyes of the majority, an animal's sexuality is not on the same scale of importance as a person's. And in the eyes of animal rights, it is wrong to deprive the animals of this if it is their happiness. And that also stands where gay rights are concerned too.
The article has a poll question at its conclusion. Show your support by saying the penguins should stay together!

Free icon raffle
Posted 14 years agoJournal title says it all. Pretty much trying to build up more interest in my work cuz the potential is there for paid commissions.
Gonna be holding this through Sunday. Just leave a comment on how many times you want your name put in (and if you want, what you would like your icon to be like, but no animated requests please---I can't do those). I'll notify who the winner is when the time comes and their icon will come out later that day.

Artistic casualty
Posted 14 years agohttp://www.furaffinity.net/view/3773560/ has gone permanently missing from my portfolio at home. I may try and remake it in the future with superior watercolors that I used on the other two.
Arting up
Posted 14 years agoMaking a note
Posted 14 years agoAt this moment, I plan to cancel my "Ears and Tail" comic. I long grew dissatisfied with the direction I wished to take it, and I felt the overall plot was unoriginal and not in the least bit creative, not to mention that my passion for the project died quite some time ago. For those looking forward to more, I apologize, but I do not wish to continue it. If I were to, I would need a lot of convincing and proof that people have faith in it, and even then it would be a stretch. In addition, I will decide at the end of the month as to whether I will delete it from my portfolio or not.
Compensation(?) for delay
Posted 14 years agoHey all, that painting's gonna be a day or so away from posting. The oils are taking far too long to dry for some reason.
So, um, how about some music to tide you over?

Do we really need an app for this?
Posted 14 years agoAccording to this article I just happened upon, a new Android app gives questionnaires to test if your son is gay.
http://gadgetbox.msnbc.msn.com/_new.....-gay?GT1=43001
I don't know about you, but I think some of the questions are rather ridiculous and stereotyped to the point where, honestly, the whole thing is kind of funny. Not to mention that any type of questionnaire in the vain of this one has a chance of inaccuracy.

Want to paint right now
Posted 14 years agoBut I lack an easel and I'm certain my oils have dried up from being in storage. Dang.
Important scientific breakthrough
Posted 14 years agohttp://cosmiclog.msnbc.msn.com/_new.....ists?GT1=43001
A group of gamers have solved the puzzle of the molecular structure of the AIDS virus.
Before anyone jumps up and down for joy on the destruction of AIDS, this doesn't mean AIDS is cured. It means that scientists now have something to more solidly study so that a proper cure can be found.
But regardless, it's still an amazing discovery.

Will do this soon.
Posted 14 years agoI'm considering selling prints of some of my work to help with paying my college debts while I'm still looking for a job. I'm not sure exactly when it will start or how pricing will be handled or whatever, but this is a list of what from my gallery I'm wishing to sell.
PAINTINGS:
"Acid Rain", "Apple Juice", "Cat and Grapes", "I'll Take You There", "Jar", "Moon Wolf", "Still Life 1", "Still Life 2", "Still Life 3", "Sunset Dreams", "Van Gogh Interpretation No. 2"
DRAWINGS:
"Beautiful and Blue", "Lovely", "Watercolor Mistress", "White"
PHOTOGRAPHY:
"Elegant Dancer", "Separated Brothers", "Shine On"
If anyone out there has any ideas that would help me with doing this successfully, or if they believe any other works in my gallery are good enough to add to this list, please give a shout out. It'd be appreciated.
