I'm going to be remodeling the profile a bit, got some artwork for the project I've working off and on for about......dang, 12-ish years. If I had my way this would be more out in the open sooner, but ADHD and life getting in the way. Stay tuned for a few things if you're interested.

Opinion on the recent drama
Posted 12 years agoAll in all, sexual predators are a no-no. As far as I know, either a friend of the admins or one of them themselves is being accused of being one. And the evidence against them is....
Tumblr posts.....which is a blog......which is heavily opinionated.....which is not solid evidence.
Now there is a chance that this is true, but there's an equal chance that it a small misunderstanding and someone got really fucking butthurt and spread a giant rumor that they ate up themselves. People do that. I will say that the admins deleting comments do raise some slight suspicions, but that could be the admins being admins
Now on to the bit where I piss off everyone on this site: Are you guys really that surprised? I mean really, roughly 90% of content on this site is porn and you're surprised that there's a sexual predator (if the rumors prove to be true) around here? That bit alone made this drama hilarious.
And no, I'm not taking the side of the admins here (as in all honesty, the admins here do a really shit job of handling stuff, two of my friends on here I would think agree), but the current evidence provided isn't enough to sway my opinion to one side outside of "bullshit furry drama".

new alternate fursona?

made Rule 63 versions of our fursonas (well, not Shellb, but he drew them) as a joke that became a thing. Now considering that I somehow got attached to Beriah as a character, I'm thinking of making her legitimate as a parallel universe version of Beowulf. Why? because I like alternate timelines, blame Marvel and Doctor Who for that. Plus I like the infinite universe theory where a new universe branches out for every possible outcome.
Beo's still going to be drawn first, but at some point Bei will be drawn as well and be assigned a timeline (a la how Marvel does it). And considering that the initial project that Beo was made for deals with alternate timelines for certain character subplots, very likely I may end up making Bei a legit character in that as well.

Progress on Art (slight college rant too)
Posted 12 years agomain problem right now is that both art courses I'm taking this term is mostly stuff I learned in high school (granted this is only week two, so I may be jumping the gun). What makes it feel more pointless is that I learned today that those two courses don't meet the requirements for the degree I'm going for. For those that don't know, I'm currently working on a Video Game development degree and the Drawing I course is just "draw what I show you, with what I want you to draw with", which needless to say is getting me no where, as I need to practice on character concept (namely human and anthro, but there's a lot of cybernetics on the characters I want to draw/drawn). Luckily the other course, Basic Design I, currently allows more freedom so I'm able to use that as practice despite the class still not meeting the requirements of the degree.
The good news is that there's a Life Drawing I class also on the requirements list and if I think what I think it is, that's what I'll be looking for. Not to mention that with the head teacher requesting different/new classes for the degree (as this is its 4th available year) and I'm taking a 3rd year for this, I'll see if I can sneak in the new additions. Might have to sacrifice the Japanese classes I had my eye on though, the creative writing course is more important.
As for the status on art, I managed to draw a presentable wolf head (at 90 degrees) and a human fist (even holding something). Thank you reference point. I have a scanner so I can show those off when I can get around to it. Winter Break the latest if I remember.
And for those thinking of going into Game Design, if you thought that taking in all of this in one sitting, you are ten universes worth of illprepared, trust me on that.

2. Okay, now...tell me about yourself.
Well...me and my mother are the sole survivors of a political hanging, saved by the son of the Kitsune that ordered my family's execution no less. Then I was given to the very same son as a slave for his birthday, luckily he wasn't into the idea of owning me and was just happy he had another kid to play with, life for a prince isn't all its cracked up to be. He begged his parents for me to go to school with him, we both graduated college and went our separate ways while still keeping in touch. I went to military school with the intention of keeping my family's name strong and proud (despite its only me and my mother at this point). Stayed in there till five years ago when my CO (who just happens to be my uncle) was killed in a Slave Riot, I lost contact with my best friend and my girlfriend disappeared all in the same week. Been a mercenary ever since, namely to allow me some personal time.
Quite a history yes, but what do you expect from someone who's lived for 213 years?
3. Who do you love the most? And why?
Fenra Marcess: The girlfriend I mentioned. Aside from my mother, she's the one that's been with me the longest and I trust her with everything.
Katoshi Kisiga: My Best Friend and the Prince of the Kitsunes. To be honest, really the only Kitsune I can stand since he wants nothing to do with his kind, namely his family. Not to mention he's saved my life a few times and we wyrwulves believe in blood debts.
Seaxburh Ikufout: My Mother, aside from Fenra and Katoshi, the only person that keeps me sane and can get me to calm down.
Tyr Dervorck: My main CO and my Uncle. My father was among the members of my family that was hung when I was five. So Tyr here help me and mother cope, eventually beoming my father figure.

2. Okay, now...tell me about yourself.
Well...me and my mother are the sole survivors of a political hanging, saved by the son of the Kitsune that ordered my family's execution no less. Then I was given to the very same son as a slave for his birthday, luckily he wasn't into the idea of owning me and was just happy he had another kid to play with, life for a prince isn't all its cracked up to be. He begged his parents for me to go to school with him, we both graduated college and went our separate ways while still keeping in touch. I went to military school with the intention of keeping my family's name strong and proud (despite its only me and my mother at this point). Stayed in there till five years ago when my CO (who just happens to be my uncle) was killed in a Slave Riot, I lost contact with my best friend and my girlfriend disappeared all in the same week. Been a mercenary ever since, namely to allow me some personal time.
Quite a history yes, but what do you expect from someone who's lived for 213 years?
3. Who do you love the most? And why?
Fenra Marcess: The girlfriend I mentioned. Aside from my mother, she's the one that's been with me the longest and I trust her with everything.
Katoshi Kisiga: My Best Friend and the Prince of the Kitsunes. To be honest, really the only Kitsune I can stand since he wants nothing to do with his kind, namely his family. Not to mention he's saved my life a few times and we wyrwulves believe in blood debts.
Seaxburh Ikufout: My Mother, aside from Fenra and Katoshi, the only person that keeps me sane and can get me to calm down.
Tyr Dervorck: My main CO and my Uncle. My father was among the members of my family that was hung when I was five. So Tyr here help me and mother cope, eventually beoming my father figure.
