━━━━━━━━━━~~~~ , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ~~~~━━━━━━━━━━━━━
[Artistic Style]
I am constantly trying to improve my artwork.
That being said, I am better at doing some things than others.
If I feel uncomfortable at all drawing what you request, I will politely decline.
I reserve the right to draw your character in my own style.
The appearance of colors may change to suit my style, but your character will retain its own likeness.
I will not, in any way, make your character unrecognizable.
[Will Not Draw...]
As the artist, I reserve the right to refuse a piece of art with subject matter that makes me uncomfortable.
I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason.
A great start would be determining if I am the artist for you.
If what you would like falls into the following categories, I am more likely to refuse you.
I will not draw:
- Porn or pornagraphic situations
- Babyfur art in suggestive situations
- Gore, vore, or violence
- Unsheathed or exposed genital areas
- Bondage or sexual violence
- Bodily functions or excretions
- Copyrighted characters
[Rights]
As the artist, I retain all rights to the artwork I create.
This means you may not sell the image for commercial use or for monetary value.
Unless we have created a contract to discuss licensing, my art may not be reproduced or sold.
Personal reproductions are allowed as long as they are not for profit.
You are free to post my artwork to any personal or public gallery as long as credit is provided.
You may create icons/avatars, banners, or other website graphics out of the art you have received.
However, you may not edit my art or pay another artist to color my pieces without my permission.
[Payment]
My pricing sheet reflects base prices only.
I will offer a quote based on character complexity in our communication phase.
Prices do include a simple background. Complex backgrounds will be priced extra.
I require payment to be made in a Half Now, Half Later schedule.
This form of payment schedule protects both artist and commissioner.
I will not begin your artwork until the first deposit is made.
This will affect commission queue schedules.
I will not send you the final version without the final payment first being sent.
Half Now, Half Later does not apply to commissions under $20.
Full payment must be made before art is finished, but may be sent after concept sketch.
Payments are to be made through Paypal only.
[Progress, Turnarounds, and Deadlines]
All commissions, except colored sketches, will receive progress updates.
I require an easy form of communication for rough sketch and ink approvals.
I will not progress further on a piece without your approval.
Your piece will be worked on in the order it was received and according to payment received.
Payment guarantees queue position only, not turnaround timeframe.
I will finish ass commissions according to queue slots.
I reserve the right to drop commissioners for a full refund at any time.
Please do not repeatedly message me asking if or when I have begun your work.
I will contact you and you will receive my undivided attention when I begin your piece.
The average wait for a piece of art will be 1-2 weeks from the date I begin.
You should not wait more than 6 weeks. If this happens, you are eligible for a partial refund.
I must be made aware of deadlines at least two weeks in advance.
I am busy and work full time. I may not be able to meet your deadline.
If, for any reason on my end, I fail to meet your deadline, I will refund you in full.
In the event that I am unable to meet your deadline due to poor communication on approval:
- The first half of the payment is non-refundable depending on the stage of progress I achieved.
If you choose to, I will refund the second payment, in the event I have accepted it, and will not finish your art.
- Otherwise, I reserve the right to complete the artwork without approval in artwork stages to meet your deadline.
(I will always keep in mind the end goal of the piece and keep it true to your desires)
Two free major edits are allowed after the deadline if the artwork is rushed for finish.
[Edits and Alterations]
Concept sketch mistakes I have made will be edited until they are correct.
Concept sketch adjustments of the same pose or idea will require an additional payment of $10.
Complete re-draws of concept sketches will require an additional payment for the cost of a new sketch, $20.
Excluding any mistakes I have made, I do not allow for more than two major edits in the final stages.
This is the point of artwork approval. Once approval has been made, I will not make edits.
If, in the future, your character is designed or changed, I would be happy to reflect these changes.
However, a small fee will be discussed to do so. This is based on character complexity.
For example, one or two new markings will be cheaper than sprouting a new pair of wings.

Tippy Returns!
Posted 11 years agoHowdy!
<3
Tippy
So, I have been away from FA for a good, long while. I have been very detached from my "internet hobbies" and other such things. However, I have not stopped creating and drawing! I have so many things to show you guys! As I find more time in my boring, busy life, I will try to get back into doing things I love.
In my absence, I have re-evaluated my fursona design yet again and made some pretty big changes. These will be released in a five-part comic that I worked up and am pretty happy with.
Along with all of Tippy's new designs, she now has a mate! Even though my fiancé is not into furries in the slightest, he has helped me design a dreamy ram for my little goat girl. She no longer has to wander alone. :]
Anywho! I will try my hardest to be more frequent in my submissions and try to keep updated.

Happy Study Day To Me!!~
Posted 12 years agoSo, I've been neglecting FA and every website on the intewebs because school and work have taken, literally, every second of free time I've had. Ever.
;_____;
And tomorrow's Tippy's Burfday! Wheeee!!
But guess who gets to spend it studying for three tests? D:
Don't worry, gaiz, I'll try not to have too much fun. xD
Hats, Hats, Hats
Posted 12 years agoSo I've been away for a good while. Glued to my sewing machine, of course.
Merry Christmas and all that good stuff.
I've uploaded most of my projects but there are a few I didn't such as
scarves
mittens
bags
what have you....
Anywhoo, I'm highly considering taking comissions on custom-made hats.
If I can figure out this confounded Paypal....
Does $35 per hat seem fair?
Just fishing for information.
Time spent per hat is roughly 5 hours if anyone is interested.
Price would increase (by like.. $5, $10) based on complexity.
Yes, I make my own patterns.
Also, what is the best method to ship? USPS Priority? Envelope or box?
I'm such a noob to this kind of thing.... ;_____;
Baaaaa
P.S. Just gonna throw out there that I will not sell copyrighted material (such as Pokemon).
For money, that is.

Jumping to Conclusions
Posted 13 years ago
So, I was on the bus on the way back from class today.
This girl got on and sat at the seat opposite me.
I noticed she had blue in her hair and a few outlandish piercings.
She also had several pins on her messenger bag.
Nothing special, typical odd college kid.
Until I looked closer at her pins.
One was a rainbow Mickey Mouse head, another said "Gay Pride".
The last was a light green book that said "I <3 Anthro"
So, given the sterotypes of most furries, I assumed she was one.
The "I <3 Anthro" was the dead giveaway.
I turned to her and said, "Hey, I noticed your pin." *points* "Are you a furry?"
She gives me this odd look.
I sit there with a huge stupid grin on my face.
Like, a HUGE, hopeful, stupid grin.
Things get awkward.
She pauses.... Uhm...
I assume she didn't hear me, "Oh, your 'I <3 Anthro' pin. I assume it's anthropomorphic?"
Her face gets more confused, "Uhm, no, anthropology..."
I get an incredibly awkward look, apologize, and get off the bus at my stop.
Awkward day was awkward.
But the book on the pin made sense....
Some pictures to brighten your day.

Guild Wars 2
Posted 13 years agoI love playing video games.
:B
Though I haven't had much time to dedicate to it, between schoolwork with first exams all happening right now and work all the time, I absolutely love, love, love Guild Wars 2.
Guild Wars 2 is EVERYTHING I have ever wanted in an MMO. There is an unbelievable amount of customization. And I don't just mean with your character, but gameplay, storyline, play style, etc. It's awesome.
My favorite thing is that you don't have to be thrown into a category of "DPS", "Tank", and "Heals". A Thief could end up tanking a mob if they know how to use their skills and maneuver properly. It's beautiful. You can choose, from an array of choices, the skills you want to play with based on the weapons you equip. Not only is this pretty unique, but it gives you so many options. However, the part I like best is that you can customize your stats however you want to fit your play style (within reason of your profession). But if I want to be a crit-stacking Elementalist (which I am :D), I can be.
There is no cookie-cutter formula for "highest DPS" or "best Tank". I'm sure some skills and stats that are preferable over others, but you aren't considered noob or worthless for not "putting talents in a certain tree" or "stacking a certain stat" or "not using this rotation and these skills".
I knew as soon as Guild Wars 2 was to be released, I was going to be making either a Snow Leopard shifting Norn or a Charr. Mainly to satisfy the furry in me. And I did. I played both. I tried the awesome-looking Charr engineer and my go-to class, Thief, for the Norn. But I couldn't get into them. I didn't get very far. :l
So Kris convinced me to try Human. Booooring!! But as it would turn out, I love their storyline best of all! I adore my Human Necromancer. Until I got kinda bored again. xD
As it would turn out, I created a character and profession I thought both I was most unlike to play. An Asura Elementalist.
AND I FUCKING LOVE IT.
My little Asura Ele is so damned cute. She's a tiny force to be reckoned with.
And I shall be uploading some fanart of my Shockastic and Kris's Norn Warrior very soon. :B
"Why are you a furry?"
Posted 13 years ago"Why are you a furry?"
A question my fiancée, Kris, asked me.
He completely understands my love of animals, my desire to "dress up in a giant goat costume" and that I enjoy drawing anthropomorphic animals in human settings.
No problem there.
But he asked this question of me in an attempt to legitimately understand why I am interested in this hobby of mine.
Okay, so I enjoy animals. Growing up, I always rejected the baby dolls for stuffed animals. I made my dinosaur figurines wage a war against the Pokémon plushies. I made believe I was a dragon flying around or that I was a velociraptor when walking in the shallow end of the pool. I'd be a stalking wolf in the woods or a sure-footed mountain goat hopping on cliffs.
I was always a lonely child and entertained myself in my head as an animal. When I did play with some friends, we never played house, but ponies or dragons. We were brave mice fighting off angry cats. But typically, I spent my days alone, in my room, with my stuffed animals.
Cool. That describes my love for pretend and animals. So why furry?
Or alternatively, what positive impact has being a furry had on my other hobbies?
Well, I like to draw. I love drawing anthros. I have tons of old sketchbooks all the way back from 5th grade of (albeit mostly horribly-done) drawings of wolves, dragons, cats, dogs, bunnies, etc. Are they all anthros, though? Certainly not. I have an equal number of realism drawings, sketches, and paintings. A wild pack of dogs, a horse, a fox in the snow, what have you. Are they all animals? No, I have more drawings of flowers and trees, houses and fields than any of my animal pictures combined. I just like to draw.
Would I still draw if I wasn't furry? Heck yes.
Does being a furry help my drawing? Yeah, it's practice.
So there's a plus.
I also like to make stuffed animals. Are they furry? Well, no.
I've only made one furry plush to date. That was Sh3w0lf's fursona as a commission.
All of the other plushies I have made (with the exception of a few gifts like Cupcake Koala and Beerfish), and designs I have drafted, were largely part of a line of stuffed animals I wanted to release. They have names, poems, stories, art, etc.
Do I want to make other's fursonas? Well, sure. I would like to. I'm not the best at sewing, I have very little time, and working with fleece isn't as nice for 'sonas than fur would be. But I would like to.
So is my sewing influenced by being furry? Other than creating fursonas on comission, no, not really.
Does being furry help my sewing?
No. I would still sew otherwise.
So, all of the many hours I have put into researching how to make a fursuit, the sheer amount of references, examples, tutorials, instructions, and practice with scraps I have collected together and effort put into learning, has any of that affected my ability to sew better?
Yes. I would certainly say it has.
Could I have learned proper stitch techniques, how to attach a zipper, or the workings of fur without being a furry? Well.... yes, I could have. Would I have? Yes.
"What about all the friends I have made? They are wonderful people I would have not had this connection with otherwise," I say.
And he asked my to re-consider and re-evaluate my statement.
Did I meet any of my friends from specifically being a furry.
No.... No I haven't.
I have known a lot of my friends for many years. We met and became friends because our personalities were compatible.
Case in point: Sarah. I met her many, many years ago when I was in 8th grade. That was... I think 8 years ago. Lol. We became good, fast friends. We both had interestes in animals, in drawing, etc. I think I can safely say we both knew we had an interest in furries. Even if we didn't know what they were or didn't care to learn, or knew and kept it secret (which all three cases applied to me in that order). But either was just understood and never came up or whatever the matter, we were comfortable in our knowing that we were furries. Many years later in college we openly expressed interest in the subject together. We had squeal moments and discussed the fandom in great length and detail.
Many others too. Brandon was a classmate of mine. We talked occasionally and shared similar interests. It wasn't until he commissioned me to make a plushie of his girl friend's 'sona that I became aware. Even friends I made in middle school have contacted me here and we reconnected.
I have met many great friends. One of my best friends, too, I have met on the internet. On Furcadia. At that point, I still didn't know what furries were, but thought a role-playing game where you could walk around as a dog-person was super cool. Danielle, or Hell's Offspring (Helly), as I met her, is still a fast friend that I am in close contact with on a regular basis. Even though she lives all the way in Vegas. Is she a furry? I don't think so, but she does take great interest in things furries commonly love. So maybe. But we weren't introduced to each other as such. Maybe it was just commonly understood anyone on a furry role-playing game was furry. Lol.
So, no. I have only made one friend under the sole context of being a furry. And that is Jojojoshua, who is an awesome individual that I firmly believe I would have met and befriended anyway based on our interests.
"Alright and good. But aren't most furries overweight, antisocial individuals with psychological complexes that deem them unfit for, and are generally unproductive in, society? You will pick up these traits by hanging out with these types of people. It has been scientifically proved who you associate with has influence in who you are as a person."
Well, this is rather harsh.
Every stereotype has validity, though. And, I admit, some furries are included in this description (none that I any longer associate with, and I am certain this does not apply to any of you guys, so no offense).
But I do know a lot of anti-social furries. I, for one, have extreme social awkwardness (that I am trying to improve). But no one that I know and associate with has anything worse than that. I certainly wouldn't say anyone I know isn't a productive member to society.
I know traits among people do rub off on one-another. I am a prime example of being moulded be my friends. Though I wouldn't say that is a bad thing. And I do admit that I have a weak sense of self-individuality.
But I am quick to toss this notion out the window. Being a furry doesn't make you an unmotivated, overweight loser. Being an unmotivated, overweight loser does. If you smoke pot and sit around all day or if you draw animals and sit around all day, your hobbies do not define your sense of who you are.
There are the extremes and good and bad with everything. Furries are no exception. I know some amazing, upstanding individuals who take an interest in anthropomorphic animals and I have known the other end of the spectrum.
Only if you let something consume you and negatively affect your life, it does. Otherwise, it's just that, a hobby, a passion, a way to express yourself and escape to another reality.
"So what happens when we're raising our children and our kids see mommy dress up in a giant animal costume?"
Well, this is more tricky a subject.
Of course, I want to fursuit. I want to bring my character to life. I want to dance around in public and have fun. I want to be carefree and express myself in a unique way with my friends. I want to attend a few conventions a year and I want to dress up as a giant goat/sheep.
Will I be doing this while raising kids? Probably not. Everyone moves on. Everyone takes responsibility for the important thins in life. When I reach the stage in my life where I find myself raising upstanding individuals to introduce to the world, I will have a more responsible outlook. I doubt I'll be attending furmeets and bowling in a fursuit at the age of 40. But who says I can't dress up for halloween? For birthdays? For fun. I might still attend cons. Leave the kids with grandma for the weekend. Whatevs.
But I'm not there in my life yet and when I am I'm sure I won't be galavanting around in costume changing diapers. I'm content now drawing and doing whatever it is I do. I'm sure I'll be just as content then.
"Okay, so back to the question that started it all. Why are you a furry?"
I don't have an answer for that. Just because.
It doesn't impact my love for drawing, sewing, my friends or anything else. I just like humanized animals. I like the idea of being silly behind a goat/sheep mask.
Why am I furry?
I don't know.
Just because I am.
So There's This.
Posted 13 years agoGeep.
That's right.
(male) Sheep + (female) Goat = (awesome) Geep
Two different subfamilies, Caprinae and Bovidae. The sheep has 54 chromosomes and the Goat has 60,
but somehow they are related closely enough to mate and produce the evenly-split Geep.
I love these guys.
So damn much.
So effing cute.
Like omg.
Here are cute articles with adorable pictures.

They're everything a sheep should be with the added bonus of spotty-adorable goat-ness.

Also, not related, but this is just too damn cute.

Posted 13 years agoSo my fiancé isn't a furry, doesn't care for furries much at all, but supports me in every way.
I swear, I'll slowly turn him. Shhhh. >__>
Anyway, I was doodling my 'sona earlier and he watched me while I was drawing for a while. After a minute or so, he asked me why I'm "just a sheep" and "not something more cute like a kitty". (He's obsessed with cats.) I told him that it's because I'm a sheep and I just don't /feel like/ a cat. Sheepy goodness. Baaaaa.
Well, he said he would like my furry stuff a lot more and wouldn't tease me as much if I were a cat....
But I'm not a cat. D<
I'll show him just how adorable and cute a sheepy can be. He won't be able to resist my bouncy baaaaa-ness.
Aaaannnnd maybe, just for fun, I'll design myself a cute kitty 'sona just for him. >_>
