Life Update!

KIDDING! I have been on ups and downs along the way....some very deep down times where I was unsure if I would make the climb back up, but currently I am in an upswing and am really hoping to take advantage and meet some friends I have had the privilege of talking to recently. I would love to see my old friends as well, though some of these newer friends have brought back some memories and allowed me to continue being the type of coyote puppy I wanna be! It's pretty awesome! It has become easier to ignore any bad or whimpery stuff that happens and just enjoy the wags as they come! Granted, sometimes the whimpers sneak up on me, but with the help of friends, I am getting better at growling them away. Hope to bark with ya guys more and looking forward to meeting many of you at BLFC if you will be attending! I'll be the stupid coyote puppy...ya can't miss him. ^^

All of you lovely folks who message me on Telegram really keep me busy when work and school haven't taken over. I really appreciate getting to know all of you interesting fluffs and hope we can better our friendships. In the meantime, I am nearly done with my degree for Software Developing - Programming. I've discovered I hate coding Java, yet I really enjoy Database design, so I may be moving into the specific field of Database Administrator. Oooh, money!
I am in the market for commissions, and have been picking them up left and right. Been too shy to get naughty ones, so luckily the artists have either offered or better yet, encouraged the idea of naughty works. No regrets here! I would really love some more artwork of my Yotie self... Such themes include footpaws, toony, puppy play, bondage gear...and I'm sure we can all come up with more questionable stuff! I'd also really enjoy commissioning more art of me and my hero Wile E, so I'll definitely be keeping an eye out on that! I do have my favorite artists and those I commission frequently, but I am looking for new or pre-established talent for new art. Guess time will tell who takes on my ideas. I love showing off the art of those I commission...I have such admiration for artists!

At this point, I think I want to give relationships a break until I know I want to settle down. But I would still feel very close and connected with those I were with.

The only time I think a 'break' is acceptable is when you need to cool off before mutually coming to the conclusion that you two aren't working out. You should try to not end your relationship while angry or over-emotional.

Legal age. That's it....people need to make their own mistakes, but as long as they are legally able to, then it's on them.

When we begin to drift apart. We discuss why we are drifting apart and if it can be fixed (realistically) and if not, we should start discussing the possibility of separating. It sucks, but we'd both be happier in the long run.

Definitely can. Depends on how they separated and were towards each other during those times.

Why not? If you are both understanding of the possible outcomes there's no reason you shouldn't. A. You end up together and live happy forever. B. You find out you are better friends than a couple. C. You get together break up....hopefully peacefully so you can remain friends or else you now have someone you don't want to be around. Is it worth losing a friend? Make your decision carefully.

When we begin to drift apart. We discuss why we are drifting apart and if it can be fixed (realistically) and if not, we should start discussing the possibility of separating. It sucks, but we'd both be happier in the long run.

Definitely can. Depends on how they separated and were towards each other during those times.

C. You get together break up....hopefully peacefully so you can remain friends or else you now have someone you don't want to be around. Is it worth losing a friend? Make your decision carefully.

General | Posted 12 years agoSo much has been going on here mentally. I'll spare the over-dramatizing such as "I don't know if I can stand it" and other stuff.... I'll make it through. Just figured I'd throw down a few thoughts. Work is mentally destroying me to the point where my body is making me physically sick so I don't go. Not only that but they will (happily) be laying me off soon. No no, it's a good thing really....but the stressful part is not knowing when. If they would give me a day, that would help.
Apart from that, I'm starting to say a temporary goodbye to my California buddies. Once work lays me off, I will be moving out to Wisconsin. The drive is gonna suck, so I'm planning on maybe seeing a few people on my way there to save my sanity. With moving comes the sucky goodbyes of locals and not-so-locals I'd drive 2-7 hours to visit. Hey, ya gotta go where the fun is. Also...family. Yeah we all know how they can sometimes stress us out, not to mention the attempted guilt trips to make me not move. Sorry, it's not gonna work.
Then came Califur. Overall, the convention was great, but some things happen that just mentally destroyed me for a while. Heck, I didn't feel furry or even canine when I got home and I felt a lot of anger. Took a few days to get over that, but still kind of sensitive about it. Every little thing sets me back into a cynical mindset, but I'm just trying to separate myself from it until I have less stress happening. Don't need anymore breakdowns...
So....I'm sorry if I seem a little irritated. I'm not being anti-social, just dealing with some inner troubles and trying not to drag anyone into it. I'll be back to my ol' self in a month if I'm lucky.

When I commission someone...
General | Posted 13 years agoMan, I have to say...the majority of my commissions come from me simply barking with the artist, maybe getting to know each other a little bit and then I will give them full artistic freedom. This has been the main reason why I do NOT have so much mature work. It's not that I don't WANT it, it just doesn't seem to come up. Call it shyness or modesty....whatever you want, but I really do enjoy it when an artist will take it upon themselves to draw what they would like to see.
I know some artist really like you to tell them exactly what to draw, and that's cool. Personally I may be more afraid to commission them as I feel I am somewhat bad with specific ideas, but I do LOVE to chat with an artist....get some boundaries, maybe find out things they'd like to see or draw. It works out even better if we share similar taste!
There are times when I really like an artist, and I will try not to contact them too much simply because I know artists can get busy. I don't mind being forgotten and if we happen to hit it off and become friends, hey, that just makes my tail wag all the more! But yes...being the loyal canine I am, I do enjoy making friends with an artist, and I will try to commission them as often as my money allows! Oh yeah...I have never, nor do I ever intend to ask for free art. I mean, if an artist wants to do art for me, that's their choice, (and boy do I feel all kinds of special shy when that happens). Heck, that means I was actually thought of, lol. But I don't expect it... Artists dudes are normal folks just like us. The types of folks I'd take out for a drink or 4 (varies on the amount of party animal they are) :P Or a quiet movie night, or simply barking about the day and stuff.

Every so often, ya find one who is just so full of themselves that you cannot look at their art as anything but bad. I mean, sure they may have great line art and coloring, eh, but if they're a jerk, sadly I will be associating their professionalism with their work.
Don't care if they are/were a favorite artist...bad attitudes = crap art...and they will not receive my business.
I've been very fortunate so far that my favorite artists whom I like to commission are pretty fun to talk to...so they're the ones who get to take my monies! Yes yes...please take my money! More arts wanted. ^_^
