So yeah a rather heavy topic I know but I think I should say a few words about it how I feel

So first I think playing with AI stuff can be fun ( I have several AI Generators I use to simply play with)
and No you will never see any of the pics I generate because of the second rule I have

AI stuff is not Art (it´s writing) so for me AI "Artists" are simply writer.

Would I pay for AI Stuff simple answer is no.

I have to many real artist friends in the community who I see in RL regulary and which I gladly pay for awesome artwork then use a soulless machine who creates something cookiecutter alike.

AI is a fun toy but in the end it´s just a toy to play with.

If you want Art for your walls at home commission an real artist.

So another Year ends and it´s time to reflect on it.
This year was a rollercoaster for me it has it ups and downs some loopings and some wicked twists for me.
I end this year sadly not really on a high note more of something in the middle but that means I have some air upwards.
Workwise I got a new boss but sadly I see allready several red flags with him but I try and give him a chance to prove me wrong.
Family wise my grandmother health (mental) got worse and I don´t really see her outliving next year (don´t scold me I live with her and see how fragile she became.)
My personal health is ... well it could be better but I work on that.
I had several realisations this year Like
I don´t like most people
I have a strange kind of anxiety I can be with lots of people but when my tank os social is full I go into a panik mode.
I hate talking politics and religions.
I like being single
I have no shame left
also I got several plans for next year such as
Cons:
MMC
Eurofurence
Vacations:
4 day hiking
4 day at Europapark

Well on to a new year new things and projects and to a hopefully better future

and a new beginning
Well here we are just hours away from a new year. Looking back this year was ... well interresting
it had some ups and downs for me but under the endline mostly positive.
Some major changes like my mother finally retired and we got a new bathroom (will be installed in a month) got a nice raise at work (didn´t help this month with all the bills I had to pay this month)

Had this year a nice panic attack (didn´t happened for at least 20 years) so I wasn´t really prepared.
and at a con yeah was really fun ....
Large crowds over a longer time gets me it seems

My grandmothers health slowly but steady goes downhill (if you must ask she will become 95 years next month)

What can I say that´s life I became more cynical towards others (yes I can and will be an asshole if I get stupid questions thrown at me and yes my boss really didn´t like that)

I hope the new year will bring more positive things for all of us.

But right now I just want to say I had a great time
Was a lot of time in suit and played tourist around the con
Meet new and old friends.
And I'm about to go to the pool
Now while it was a great con (even if it was expensive)
I had a few things I disliked
Nothing major or something the con did.
I refer to the poodling and reversed (my term) poodling or marie antoinettes
While the poodling is ok just something I personally dislike.
The marie antoinettes are these who have suits on but have their heads in their hands dragging/carrying them around. That is for me a no go.
So yeah good time all in all

After a few days rest and a lot of taking it easy I´m sound enough to write a short summary.

Let´s start with my registration
I got the OK from my workplace just around a month before EF and had to register and get everything ready. Since I´m a volunteer/worker in the Artshow I also had to bring me up to speed with this years process and I had to get a Hotelroom so yeah lots of stuff in a short amount of time to do.

I got a little room through a friend who couldn´t attend in the Hotel am Rothenbaum. Was a bit of a walk but in the morning I could stop at a Backerie and get a nice breakfast and it was clean and cheap.

So for the CCH it´s massive and stretched out with lots of space in front of it and a big park (Planten and Bloomen) next to it. Also we had foodtrucks before the Center and inside Catering Käfer had also food (and drinks). Not to mention several bars and restaurants in walking distance (only heard positive things about them)

Was my first big convention after the big C and I was blown away. EF was a bit forced to invent itself new
and ohh boy did we where successful. The mood of the whole con was very positive and joyfull. The local resident where curious and really soon kids played with suiters and the parents took lots of pics.

The artshow went very well and since this was the first time we where in the same hall as the Dealer Den I could get some merc for myself.

The Pawpuppetshow was really we done and I loved every minuite of it.

All in all it was a highly motivating Con and I left in high spirits.
Can´t wait for next year

Well do you remember the clusterfuck they did in 2000 ? No ? Good for you.

Now they tryed their hands again at D&D and it looks like they actually took the rulebooks and read through them first.

I don´t know how they wrote the skript but somehow I have the impression they made some chars and just played a round and then wrote everything down because the movie has strongly these feeling. You can see when someone rolled good or bad.

While the plot in itself is more on the simple side (most twists can be seen a mile away) Some things made me just giggle (Holgas Husband or the talking to the dead scenes)

The Monsters where really great animated (Displacer beast and the Mimic)

I was a bit disapointed by the Tabaxi (CatPeople) in the movie The looked like fursuiters in cheap way to big suits.
Nerverless the Dragon was cool and totally done right.

Now I know you should never take such movies to serious and that is the whole point of the movie.
Have fun do stupid stuff and laugh afterwards.

Well my 2 cents are this is a good solid fun movie from gamers to gamers.

Well now that it`s offical I can tell you that EF is a go for you all

Well today I tested Positiv
2 and a half year I could avoid it but somehow it caught up with me

Just got home from the cinema
First thing first Loved the Movie
made me feel rather nostalic because it has a lot of 80th flair going on
Second the storie is rather simple and you can see a lot of stuff coming (and then the movie takes a turn and twists some stuff around really liked that)
Has sonme good funny moment (screaming goats for example) and there is even a fan service for Furries (very briefly at the beginning)
and something which I really liked, the Movie really doesn´t take itself serious.
The Villain this time is Gor® played by Christan Bale and his act is top notch and you can (sadly) relate to him in some ways.

Well How do I put this
EF is cancelled for me
MY boss cancelled my vacation for it and such a way that I can´t appeal or do anything about it.
(He also did a lot of backstabbing to me while doing it. It´s a long story and something I won´t go into detail about it)
So yeah I´m bummed about it and yeah ...

Well hello you all
Thanks for sticking with me I know I´m not the most social chakat out there so that means a lot to me.
Well 2020 what can I say It was an really awefull year and something I won´t like to repeat.
Rather isolated coun´t really celebrate my 40th birthday, lost my job and had some really really awefull interviews for new jobs.
(though it looks that I have maybe something starting next year they informed me that they want to talk with me).
Now there are several positive things that happened, several of my closer friends announced that they get to be a papa. That makes me really happy.
So my motto for the upcoming year will be "Out with the old in with the new".

Well a little update from my side why I´m rather quiet over the last month(s)

First of my workplace is closing and all workers got laid off.
There are some moneytary issues also which really set me back and I had to spend my savings to pay bills.
I had allready several jobinterviews but either they wanted to pay me on the low end (means I get way more if I´m unemployment) or and that was really where my blood was boiling wanted to write me up before I signed a contract for discussing my new salary with my familie.( there was more but that list would become to long for this little journal)

I´m currently unemployed do my housechores send out applications (rather hard to get something normal these days) have appointments with the Agency for Work and play games.

My grandma has a mild dementia because of her age neverless it hurts when she doesn´t recognizeme anymore.

I have several panicattacks each day because I really don´t know what the future might hold.

I still have some outtanding commissions I will post when they are ready but right now I won´t get something new.

I will remain quiet but also keep you all updated.

They are back!?

So yesterday I got my notice at work. Not the best feeling after 14 years of employment with the same employer. ( I wasn´t the only one, 1/3 of the others got their notice too) I have work until the end of October.
Now I´m looking for something new (not that I allready was looking) so wish me luck.

And I got tested negative yay

So I got some coughing nothing serious but since my bloodpressure also dropped down I got to see my doc.
Who after some exams says it´s mostly stressrelated but since I coughed once in his office he told me I have to get tested for corvid as a precaution.

So tommorrow I have to drive to the testing side and have a swipe.(yes I´m at home in quarantine)

So yay
