It was a somewhat disappointing weekend, all told. I spent half the time sick with food poisoning, DDR in the game room was broken every time I tried to play it and I didn't get to do any fursuiting or go to any panels I wanted. On the bright side, I got in enough volunteer hours to go for free next year and we found a restaurant with all-you-can-eat sushi for $20, which was decent. Also, it's very nice having a con that's only 45 minutes away. Next year will be better.

Today marks one year since I married the love of my life. It hardly feels like it's already been a year. Time really does fly. I look forward to the changes coming up as we continue to build our lives together. In her words, "let's be furfags together forever!" I love you,  spix

Furry present and future parents: Do you plan to raise your child in the furry fandom? Would you take them to cons? Why or why not? We're not planning on having kids, I'm just genuinely curious.

This made me tear up a little.

I just realized that it's been exactly one year since the weekend that changed my life, the weekend I met  Spix. With luck, there will be many more years ahead. <3

I guess it's been a while since I've posted any sort of real news, so I guess I'll share what's going on. Things with my girlfriend's ex seem to be finally taken care of, so we shouldn't be hearing much more from him. FCN this year is a no-go. Instead, I'll hopefully be off landing myself a new job, which will make life a little more comfortable. Last, but not least, I'm engaged! I asked her a week ago to marry me and she said yes. We haven't set a date yet and we both agree there's no rush. We're going to wait until we can really get settled and do things right. All I'm sure of is that I love you,  spix. <3
