Meeting with adidas folks, and other suppliers. I tried on half dozen different basketball sleeves. The supplier said they could give me more confidence on distance shots. In my opinion, they just feel weird, uncomfortable, and look even worse. Thanks, but no thanks, I will play without those, like I’m used to.

Signing cards with Krystal. DOZENS of cards. The guy from the card company said something about a “special FBA rookies deck”, and that, after the second quarter of the first game, Krystal and me will gave him our used jerseys to be shredded and a small piece of the fabric will be glued in these cards. You know, FBA world can be strange at times.

Brazil, Italy, USA… no matter the place, the food they give to the players have the same (lack of) taste pattern. Pasta lacking spices for carbs and energy, lots of greenies, one or other tomato, pressed chicken. Pheh.

First tactical training. The guys changed the starting line/bench vests hundreds of times. Coach Nekka is trying all the variables to get the best balanced team right from the start. I can see lots of teams will suffer. There are plenty of key players yet to decide their contracts, and just two weeks for the start of the season. There will be teams playing the first month without strategy. Since we’re waiting only for Umaechi decision, we can have a tactical advantage on the first month. We’ll see.

Found a Package from Penalty shoes waiting for me in the hotel. Boy, they worked fast. It’s a beauty, very similar to regular utah models, but with a dark red and gold sole, to match Mounties’ colors, and a small brazilian flag in the heels. Now I will look good at the court. "

FBA Draft Update
Posted 15 years agoAllright for some who know and some who don't the FBA (Furry Basketball Association) held its draft last Sunday. As for some of ya I run two teams for the FBA storyline. The Idaho Mounties in the Western Conference and the Baltimore Spirits of the Eastern Conference. Well the FBA is a fun little project that was started by 
buckhopper and it has grown since then. This journal is to basically in part tell of both teams and their managment for the storyline. If would like to know more about the FBA I will let ya know but some links to check out would be.

Idaho Mounties:
The Mounties with the number 9 overeall pick chose Krystal Bunny PG from Lapine St University. With the pick of Krystal the management saw some concern especially with Rodger Uamenchi the teams star small forward still undecided with his furture with the team. As well as back up Power Foward Ryota Ankanshi undecided on who he will play for in the coming season pulled the trigger on a trade. That sent their point guard Joey Cox to the Baltimore Spirits for the Spirits back up Shooting Guard Victor Vos and the 40th overall pick. Using this they picked up some new blood with the 29th overall pick the Mounties chose Ricky Beltran Forward and with the 40th pick they picked up sharp shooter Jorge Vilata Guard. This to improve themselves overall and in case they lose Uamenchi and Ankanshi.
The team representives where approached after the draft and they were smiles. When asked about how they felt about the draft the team responded with "We feel really good. We picked up the players when wanted and got some good young talent".
The team was also asked about Rodger Uamenchi.
"Well all we can do is hope. Dasher gave us some good years and we would be estactic if he returns. Though as you do know he has really good offers and they are all deserved he is an extrodinary young talent and will dazzle fans for years to come. All we can do is just hope that they are the ones here in Idaho."
For after a good draft in which the Mounties did all they could to show Rodger Uamenchi that they are serious about building the team into a championship contender to get him to stay in Idaho. They fans of Idaho will watch the news to see if Rodger does indeed intend to stay or go.
Baltimore Spirits:
Coming into the draft the Spirits were looking more at need and had traded out of the first round. It gave the spirits 3 picks in the second round. The 37th, 39th and 40th overall picks of the 2010 draft. But since they traded their starting PG Brad Zimmerman for Power Forward Brax Trenor they needed to replace Zimmerman. They saw a need so Idaho came in with the trade of Joey Cox PG for Victor Vos SG and the 40th overall pick. Leaving the Spirits with the 37th and 39th overall picks. With the 37th overall pick they chose Clyde Moerke Small Foward from England and with the 39th they chose Brittany Jameston Guard/Forward.
When the reps were approached after the draft and asked how they felt about the draft they responded.
"Well we felt we did very well overall. With the addition Joey Cox, Moerke and Jameston. We feel all three of them will be great additions to the team."
Asked about the Joey Cox Trade:
"Well we feel he is a very good point guard and last year was an unfortunate year he played for three different teams and that does tend to take a toll on a player. But we do feel with him being on one team will make him more comfortable and you should see an improvement in his game."
Have you heard anything on Billy Joe James:
"Actually we are trying to show him that he is wanted here in Baltimore and that we want him to stay. Other than that we do know he has had some really good offers we are just hoping he stays and plays in Baltimore for years to come."
Rumors of Blanks Management talking with the Spirits:
"Yes we have met with Blanks Mangement on a possible trade that is in talks. Though who doesnt talk if you are not trying to improve the team then you are either a perfect team or dont care about what you do during the season. I cant confirm what is being said you will all find out when and if a trade does happen."

Fight Football League And Other Things
Posted 15 years agoBeing a sports nut yes I dont hide the fact that I am a sports nut. It has come to my attention that a new sport is starting to grow. It started in Italy apparently.
It is call Fight Football League. Now when I have tried to explain it to furres and other sports nuts they think I am describing the XFL but I am far from describing it.
Take what you know about what I thought was American Football and the MMA but it also seems to have some aspects of Soccer in it as well or Futbol for you out of the US furries and sportfans.
I have watched some video clips on this and I am coming to the conclusion that this will indeed be the most violent sport out there. Yes and I am not joking on that part.
The object is to score the ball which looks like a heavier version of a soccer ball into you teams goal box which is set up high sort of like a baskeball hoop but not horizontal it vertical. Now umm when the whistle blows it becomes no holds bar boxing...martial or whatever style you want to throw at you opponent. I mean guys are fighting off no where near the ball then break off and start another fight. It like MMA got a bunch of fighters together put them into teams and put a ball in the middle and said score at all costs.
Now dont get me wrong they seem to have refs...and I kinda use that term loosely. Right...now umm they are trying to get this sport into the US. From what I understand there are like 4 teams in Italy....2 just started in the Ukraine...and umm there are supposedly other teams set up but for now all I know of is those six teams.
I heard about this on a local sports show the Mike Taylor show but he wasnt on he had the Nasty Boy from Dallas Fort Worth on with his co host Jim Bob talking with the creator of this sport well the founder. Apparently this is based off an old sport that roman legionaires used to play as a war game.
Well it does look interesting and I will include links to whatever I can find on this sport as well.

Basketball:
Nothing new really to report all quiet about Decsion 10 was made with Lebron.
Unless you count many of the Hall of Famers calling his decsion a mistake. And that a championship is not guarenteed with him.
I also think yes buckhopper that yes the Kings are relavent again they did what I thought they needed to do and that was draft some big men and they drafted two of the ones I would have liked to see in a San Antonio uniform. So yes now ya got some good young bigs to go with all those guards.
Football:
Not much to report here other than training camp and preseason. I dont put much stock into preseason....I need to see how they react in a real game when teams are actually playing.
Though that Jets and Giants Preseason where Eli had to get 12 stictches in his head because got hit hard was something.
That is about it not much to cover.
Ohh yeah almost forgot
FBA:
Baltimore: Spirits are still looking to make a move either in draft or in trade.
Idaho: Trying to get pieces to help Uamechi though not sure if they can do that in free agency but will try so they can put a winning team together for Uamechi. They may look to do something in the draft.
I know I know it is not much but then again I been so busy been having trouble keeping up with things. I need to get on FA more to talk sports and to help out with the FBA.

Whereabouts and Sports
Posted 15 years agoAllright all I havent been on lately I havent been like myself as of late. Been sort of down, depressed, overworked and stressed. Not a good combo to be in. I am working 7 days a week last week as well as this week so have been very tired bunnies sometimes to tired to come on. If on I would hide and lurk because didnt feel like chatting with anyone because dont like bringing people down. I do have like 2567 subs to go through 5 comments, 205 journals(I usually come in and delete the ones I dont want), 13 watches well u get the message. So just been here and there and everywhere I dont mean to worry anyone it just I really just wanted to curl up listento my emo section in itunes and umm read a book. Usually my edgar allen poe or I am also working on the Red Pyramid by Rick Riodan (wrote the Percy Jackson series of books). SO that is what I have been up to.
Now for some sports the spurs have finally signed Tiago Splitter I am glad he finally came over the Spurs are getting bigger now.
Also I guess have to chime in on this the big three in miami is now promising championships and a party to come. I think they need to hold off on that first of all it has already been tried and failed with major superstars working together. Case in point a while back Kobe Bryant and Shaq got two superstars to join them in LA by the names of Gary Payton and Karl Malone. That did not deliever a championship against a team like a actual team called the Detroit Pistons. Denver tried to do it by bringing in Chauncy Billups, AI, to pair with Kenyon Martin and Carmelo Anthony how many championships have they won. It not a done deal for the Miami Heat they are overhyping it meaning if it doesnt work I would hate to be in Miami. Now lets see about this deal also they did take less money for Bosh and James and Wade to be in Miami reportedly 15 mil less to get all three but who else are they going to get. They got Mike Miller an over 30 yr old player who only trick is he can shoot 3's but doesnt have defense. He has what I like to call Matador Defense...he says Ole and the ball handler blows right by him like a bull. Now that I have covered that a bit.
Rangers picked up a pitcher in Cliff Lee a little while ago while his first start was good he still lost the game. The rangers are surprising me now I can say this as I am an Oakland Athlectics fan. But I wonder how they even got him isnt the team bankrupt. Also got to make another point for those Ranger fans. Mark Cuban is now interested in buying the Rangers teams reports have said. So not sure if Nolan is still interested or if they would be part owners. Man that would be interesting.
Lets see I think that is all for today some basketball some baseball. If want me to talk about a team in particular as I watch all sports shoot me a note or if ya want my honest opinion on a team shoot me a note. I do reply to all commments and notes eventually when I have time.

RIP George Steinbrenner
Posted 15 years agoAllright all it is with regret that I report for those who love the game of baseball. George Stein brenner owner of the NY Yankees has died this morning tuesday. He will be missed by the community of baseball. Love him or hate him he has influenced the game for a long time. Helping the Yankees win championships. Late Akon Report

I might as well get it over with *giggles*.
Allright for those of yall who do not know I spent last weekend at akon and now have a ton of stuff to go threw on FA. If noticed that is where all my nice new pics came from as well.
Friday:Spent all of friday well not all of friday but a good portion of friday was spent at the Anime Larp. Before that I stayed up even after the long drive because wanted to get to the dealers room so could get a
fredgdperry comission. If ya dont get him within the first hour good luck getting a comission. Well he is usually found in the dealers room so after enter the exhibition area I went quickly to stand in line for dealers room which wouldnt open for another hour. Well low and behold Antartic Press wasnt set up in the Dealers room but the exhibition hall. So ran over to the table all 13 slots for friday and saturday were full on fredgdperry comission list. Sad bunny indeed but there was hope he had a sunday list that would not be released till Sunday. So with hope I went back up to my room after dropping some money at the Antartic Press Table for some GD comics I needed as well as at a Furry Comic Table where picked up some Furpiled, Whomper and other such goodies. Also got my comission set ups with 
poinko and 
king-cheetah . So after returning to my room for a short 1 hr nap I got ready for the Life Larp which is an anime larp I attend every akon. The gm's Christian and Jenna were retiring from it and this would be the last Arc of Animania so I had to be in it. Havent missed one yet. I was Momo from Xenosaga Ihave been playing her for 4 years now at least. Well anyways it was an eventful larp lasted till about 5 am in the morning on Saturday. I go the Most Loyal Player award.
Saturday: Now I had to attend two parties on saturday. Well that is what I thought let me tell you it was more than that. I have never been so popular well first I get going still havent slept by the way since my one hour nap. I get going and walk around seeing what people are doing not much just miling about. Well along comes the time for me to be at the animania party. I told them I would bring them some rum. Well before that I get a call from
raith666 telling me to be down in the Bar karaoke lounge because a few of the animinia players and staff where there like Excel and Illpallazzo I know there real names but the names of the characters they player are just so much cooler. Well comes to this I go down and see what is up with my Robotech Shadow Chronicles Bag slung over my shoulder with games comics and rum and a leather strap that slings over my shoulder holding a container of coconut rum I set out. I watch them karaoke till they say it my turn well worse comes to worse I dont know half the songs really in this book so I settle for Stray Cat Strut by who else The Stray Cats. Thought would do something furry as was wearing last years TFF shirt and my grey bunny ears that have plaid lining in the ears and a white skull and cross bones on them. Good thing didnt wear my orginazation 13 trench coat from Kingdom Hearts. Well anyways I am diverging from the course. Well lets see ohh yes so finally I get up I go because a friend of mine called me Larry wanted to have lunch since he was in Town and so went and had pizza with him. We talked Football and ANime for a bits and some of RPGs we both play. Well afterwards I am headed back to the room as I call raith666 telling him and the rest to meet me to go to the party we drop in and say hi give a bottle of Rum ...to Jenna. The Rum wasnt a cheap one either it was Goslings Black Seal. I did keep my bottle of Applewhite or is it Appleton Eastate VX Rum. Either way it is very good Jamician Rum. Cant think at the momment. Well took that down to the TFF Party yes they were there the staff was anyways. Well anyways I go there they say nothing about my bottle of alcohol as we talk I met a nice young furry 
rajara we talked and had fun well then the bottle got opened. After the fourth person filled there glass they said to stop because they were a business and couldnt drink. I totally understand so I politely asked the ones that wanted to to come to my room they could have there drinks then we could return. Or so I thought it turned into a party in my room. I turned on anime we broke out SPANC (a game that is Space Pirate Amazon Ninja Catgirls) it is hilarous if havent heard of it. A furry game of epic proportions. Well anyways I had more bottles in my room. We hung out and had a good time before I knew it it was to late to return to the other party. Apparently I throw a good party and people want to do it again next year. After everyone leaves I stay up for guess what it going to be sunday and I need to get on a certain someones list.
Sunday: After yet more no sleep I sit and wait in line for 3 hrs with raith666 which was murder but I am a trooper and can withstand long periods of no sleep. Well finally at 10 am they let people in I was sitting in line since like 6:30 am with my ds played a little shonen jump superstars against someone else who had the game that was great to pass the time. Well was third in line so got to get on the list and I think his turned out to be worth the wait. While there raith666 told me of another furry arstist there 
lauragarabedian who does great watercolor works. So I went and go one from her and it turned out terrific. I also picked up my king-cheetah and poinko comissions as well. By the way if cant tell king-cheetah his drawings were in the style of Total Drama Island not many were picking up on it. I guess should have mentioned it ohh well will revise them later. Well I stayed up till around 12 am on monday morning before turning in and woke up at like 9 am. That was the most sleep I got. Man didnt sleep much but had a blast.
Monday: Finished packing and drove home. Would have been home faster but had to stop at the Czech Inn for some more kolaches. Havent been great kolaches you should Czech it out *giggles* at the bad pun. Well it more the Czech Bakery well everything there is Czech something. Well anyways I did one U turn because we had to get a picture of this billboard. It had a picture of George W. Bush Jr. with a message saying Miss Me How is that Hope and Change working out for you. We got pictures of this I kid you not. It was hilararous though there was no claim as to who put it up. It is by the Willie Nelson Eco gas station. Something about Willie Fuel you can get there. I not so sure about that place. Well anyways it was just pure classic we had to go back to get pictures. My friend has them and is going to send me them so I can put it up later. So after dropping everyone off I get home and still dont fall asleep till around 2 am in the morning and that ended akon.
Roomates : raith666 , Spoof (brother), Felipe Orta (Friend of over 12 years or more) , Janet (Brothers Roomie) ...there were supposed to be others but they found rooming with other people wish they would have let me know this earlier. Well cant be helped.

I started thinking what if The Daleks and The Borg would go to war with each other. Now the battle played in my head and knowing both well I was wondering who would win. I see some advantages and disadvantages on both side. I was wondering what everyone else thought. *smiles*. So I leave this open to discussion.

Yes I am writing about the Spurs

Must congratulate the Suns on a good victory.
I give credit where it is due and the Suns beat the Spurs when I seriously thought they wouldnt. I thought they couldnt shoot the 3 ball over 50 percent in the series again. I was wrong well and right they shot like 48 percent rather than 50 percent against the blazers but every game. If they do that again they should handle the Lakers.
Well now that I got that out of the way.
Here is my take on the Spurs how they did this year. I know if your not a basketball fan I am just rambling and allow your mind to wander. If ya are just hear me out. This year everybody at the beginning of the season was at least on the Spurs bandwagon saying they were championship contenders. Then the season started and ohh my god those reporters and people jumped ship faster than rats on a sinking boat. I had faith all year saying they would win 50 games or more. Not many people believed me the spurs were injury riddled like never before and then not to mention the slow start of new comer Richard Jefferson. When they tried to force RJ into the rotation and call plays it disrupted him but when they let him run and took the pressure off he was having troubles. Now I am not upset we lost to the Suns seriously I would have been upset if we lost to the Mavs. I know a few of you know I have a hatred of two teams the Lakers and the Mavs. I even wore my I root for two teams the spurs and whoever beats the mavs shirt into the Dallas Arena with buckhopper and 
jtigerclaw unfortunatly buckhopper stole the show because he wore all his Kings gear and the Mavs were playing the Heat. *lol* he rectified that by wearing a Kidd Jersey....mmm...seriously I need to get Bhop a Bowen Jersey that I can live with *lol*. Well anyways back to the spurs lets see they have lots of promising players and they got young overnight. Seriously they are not the oldest team they are one of the youngest only have 3 players over 30. I think they did well this year better than I actually expected. I mean a 50 win 7th seed is nothing to sneeze at but beating your division rivals when they have homecourt and supposedly the better team pound for pound is awsome. So them not losing in the first round a + and then there is the matter of actually winning 50 games that is another + because no one thought they could do it after awhile. Now lets see what else ohh yeah the spurs are going to be a force next year. Why do you ask well I am glad you asked. They now got the 20th pick in the draft that is 6 to 8 slots higher than they normally draft and anyone who watches the Spurs knows they find that diamond in the rough. Let see....they got a young new pg in Garrett Temple I know buckhopper knows who he is because he had a 10 day contract up in Sac-Town. I dont think Mason is going to be back so this is how I see some of the roster shaping out.
PG:Parker (starter) Temple (Bench)
SG:Hill (Starter) Ginobilli (Bench-he really loves the bench seriously)
SF:Richard Jefferson (Starter)
PF:Tim Duncan (Starter)
C:Antonio McDyess(Starter)
Now with PF and Center you are rotating Bonner and Blair around in there that is why didnt include them up there but they will be back ups to McDyess and Duncan.
I really think McDyess has one more year or two in him he did a really good job for us.
Also the Spurs have another guard named Gee and also a guard Hairston who are good not sure where we are going to put them could either trade them or keep them D League or just go guard deep.
Tiago Splitter PF is also supposed to be here next year. I am really excited about his kid.
Also Besides Mason not being back probly I think the Mahimi experiment is over. I hate to say it I love Mahimi but he isnt panning out.
Another play the spurs have is another young pg they drafter last year who is 19 and in the french league Nando de Colo he seems to be a promising player as well.
The Spurs even though they draft low which suits them fine are able to pull rabbits out of their hats.
I really think the spurs did well this year I would have like to have seen at least one win against the Suns but the Suns played out of their minds and the Spurs played hard and that is all I can expect of them.
So I say this I give them my applause and standing ovation for making this a great season and for not giving up when they could have just shut down and become a lottery team.
I cant wait for next seaon
And yes I do watch sports way to much and I have even been told I need to get a gig on the radio to talk sports.

I mean a 50 win 7th seed is nothing to sneeze at but beating your division rivals when they have homecourt and supposedly the better team pound for pound is awsome. So them not losing in the first round a + and then there is the matter of actually winning 50 games that is another + because no one thought they could do it after awhile. Now lets see what else ohh yeah the spurs are going to be a force next year. Why do you ask well I am glad you asked. They now got the 20th pick in the draft that is 6 to 8 slots higher than they normally draft and anyone who watches the Spurs knows they find that diamond in the rough. Let see....they got a young new pg in Garrett Temple I know buckhopper knows who he is because he had a 10 day contract up in Sac-Town. I dont think Mason is going to be back so this is how I see some of the roster shaping out.PG:Parker (starter) Temple (Bench)
SG:Hill (Starter) Ginobilli (Bench-he really loves the bench seriously)
SF:Richard Jefferson (Starter)
PF:Tim Duncan (Starter)
C:Antonio McDyess(Starter)
Now with PF and Center you are rotating Bonner and Blair around in there that is why didnt include them up there but they will be back ups to McDyess and Duncan.
I really think McDyess has one more year or two in him he did a really good job for us.
Also the Spurs have another guard named Gee and also a guard Hairston who are good not sure where we are going to put them could either trade them or keep them D League or just go guard deep.
Tiago Splitter PF is also supposed to be here next year. I am really excited about his kid.
Also Besides Mason not being back probly I think the Mahimi experiment is over. I hate to say it I love Mahimi but he isnt panning out.
Another play the spurs have is another young pg they drafter last year who is 19 and in the french league Nando de Colo he seems to be a promising player as well.
The Spurs even though they draft low which suits them fine are able to pull rabbits out of their hats.
I really think the spurs did well this year I would have like to have seen at least one win against the Suns but the Suns played out of their minds and the Spurs played hard and that is all I can expect of them.
So I say this I give them my applause and standing ovation for making this a great season and for not giving up when they could have just shut down and become a lottery team.
I cant wait for next seaon
And yes I do watch sports way to much and I have even been told I need to get a gig on the radio to talk sports.

Posted 15 years agoYes as many of yall well know today was my birthday. I spent it in wanderlust. I worked most of the day and on 3 hrs of sleep I decided I needed to drive more. I wound up at one of my haunts the Alamo Drafthouse. Not knowing why I drove there I was like here hungry I guess movie. So saw a movie had a couple of pints. Of course it turned into 3 as the people who sat next to me not knowing it was my birthday I guess I looked a bit depressed. Decided I needed a drink so they brought me a pint. I had 3 pints of an exceptionally strong beer called Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA. Yes that is the name not very well know but strong and delicious. One of the few pales I will drink. Well it took my mind off family for awhile and I will them tomorrow and I am hoping for the best. Also let see....

Posted 15 years agoAllright all just so ya know I am going to be on and off for a bits. I am slightly depressed at the momment. I usually dont do emo journals or journals remotely like this. Well I am not really up on my birthday anymore. Well for those who dont know on May 5th last year I lost one of the few people I could count on in my family that I could talk to and was always there with a smile and always understanding no matter what I told them. My grandfather on my dads side died on May 5th. Then to make matters worse my 30th birthday on May 8th was when they buried him. Not to make the matters worse was that a few family memebers were actually fighting in front of me I was litereally next to them. Cussing at each other at the Wake. Now that the fighting is still going on to the fact that both of the two that were fighting so that they dont go and see my grandmother or make excuses not to see her. She is heartbroken over this and it getting to the point I am going to intervene and sit them down and I am going to make them listen. So with family in fighting and my birthday being the anniversary of my grandfathers funeral now it is extremely hard on me. I may be here but may not. I know I am on FA if I am on here I may not respond I am just down right now. I feel like when I have company I dont want it but when dont have it I need it. It just weird right now. So if do talk just understand I may leave after awhile. I am just mixed up right now I am trying to stay cheery not sure what to do. I am working my birthday to keep my mind off of things. Work seems to put me at ease sometimes because I dont have to think. Well I am here and there....might stop by his grave to just talk to him well not really but just talk even if it to no one it probly will make me feel better. Well anyways let me just say I am still here and there and every where I will try and pop on as much as possible.

FBA:current writing the FBA HoF up currently as well as a storyline for Lapin St and Underwood College two college rivals.
NBA:Allright the Spurs beat the Kings now that got that out fo the way. For all you doubters out there that said the Spurs sucked or dismissed them. Look at the Standings the spurs are still in it and can also make the 2 seed it is very possible. the two seed right now in the west is at 51 games won and the spurs are at 48 there is still alot of basketball to be played and the spurs record shown against east teams two they would be the 3rd seed in the east. Not saying much but the west is so tight right now alot of the east teams if they were western conference teams wouldnt make it into the playoffs. So the Spurs are quietly getting it done with no one thinking they have a chance.
Now just some random musing. I do like to write but to shy to post my writings here I was wondering if people would like to see what I have written. Could clean up a few stories and post them if yall would be interested. I recently found an old story I wrote along time ago called Aegis could post that one up after cleaning it up a bit. It is just a thought.
Also if couldnt tell I am big into Sports not just basketball all sports if they keep score I am watching I cant help but watch. So if anyone wants to talk sports with me just poke me and I will usually answer. Also if like to know my teams just ask. I still need to get my fursona drawn in different sports jerseys and outfits.
Also an apology if I seem off and on work has been keeping me very busy lately so havent been on as much. I know it is bad but I am not ignoring yall I am still here I do check my messages sometimes I am just to tired to reply most days I get home and go straight to bed or get on my comp to check my classes. Great what I need more problems
Posted 15 years agoAllright all for those of you who do read my journals should know I never really gripe to much about anything. I just blog what is going on if it is important. Well still no word on the NAVY about reinstituting my GI Bill. That is the military hurry up and then wait going to call them tomorrow again as I am to tired to at the momment but felt I needed to make this journal. Well my car right now the driver door wont open from the inside have to dukes of hazard it or just roll down the window and open the door from outside. Next my car needs a micro air filter for the cabin no problems there just need to get it done. Also need a tune up that aside those are the least of my worries. When I say least I mean least as I just took my car in for the oil change and because my thermostat was acting funny bouncing all over the place. I know what most will say it is just stuck or I need a new one. Good guess but was wrong they told me I had a leak in my coolant system. I was like a hose no problem couple hundred bucks at most. Well no it much worse it turns out I have a leak in my head gasket which to repair is almost a grand. It is 960 dollars I dont have that kind of money would if I could get my GI Bill that an extra 300 a month for me. Damn things when they hit they hit...*sighs* not sure what I will do they advised me not to drive much...damn I have a job where it requires me to drive. And to watch it they were kind enough to even give me a gallon of coolant for my car just so I was prepared to watch it. Great more things to worry about. Ohh well I am off to sleep maybe 6 and half hours of sleep will do me some good. Maybe not sure...as I not sure what to do at the momment.

I know I have been scarce it just because things have come up. Well for one one of my jobs has been withholding a check from me. I kept telling them and this is not the first time they have either. Usually there excuse is ohh we are just holding it. That is a load of you know...I wont say. Well anyways they showed up really quick to give me my check today as they didnt expect my call last night. I called the office and basically stated they bring my check to me at my store otherwise I would contact the Texas Labor Commission, Better Business Bureau, The Department of Verterans Affairs (I am a Veteran of the US NAVY) as well as contact the legal advice to see what course I need to take. As do have access to the Target lawyers and can get legal advice for free. I do pay for that benifit. Now they where not happy but showed up promptly with my check so yay I gots some money again. I really hate when this happens but I guess they didnt want to see if I would do it or not and they are lucky because I was ready to do it I had the numbers all ready. Just a matter of who I wanted to call first. Then I have school and my other job so basically I been running ragged. I did get a little time to myself and did see Alice and Wonderland I forwent sleep for that one. So basically a bit twitchy today. Good thing the truck wont be that big tonight for Target. Now I am sorry if been putting people off it just been a real hell week not as bad as my first week at boot camp but still pretty bad. Well anyways I am going to be late for work gotta go.

Posted 15 years agoFor those of you who know about the FBA then here is a journal for yall.
Okay recently at this past furry fiesta I took on another team to my list. I am now not only doing the stuff for the Baltimore Spirits but I have taken on the Idaho Mounties as well. Not sure why there are Mounties in Idaho I always thought that was a Canadian thing but I am working on them anyway. I have did some major overhauls on the roster so far.
I have also been getting a lot of questions on to why I benched Rodger Umaechi who is obviously the best player on the team and one of the top 10 small forwards in the game. Well here is my reason and the team and the coaches and owner have all talked about it. They need help and they need it now. With only 12 wins thus far this season they needed a shake up.
Well the reasoning for starting Thurl Sparhawk over Umaechi was this. Thurl is a young small forward like Umaechi. Right now the team is showcasing the young small foward. Showcasing means playing him so other teams can see what he can do in hopes they might show interest and trade for him getting the mounties the help they need now. Since Rodger will not be leaving the team in the forseeable future it will also give the young thurl maybe a good position to play more in the league as he does show promise. Plus I remeber the San Antonio Spurs doing this many times with Ginobilli who is arguable one of the best players on the team but they started someone over him to give that spark off the bench. The spurs won championships this way having a starter caliber player of the bench admittedly they had parker and duncan which this team doesnt really have a parker or duncan type player. So that raised another reason why? Well here is your answer the reason why is because it doesnt matter who starts but who finishes the game and now Rodger will still get his minutes but this gives Thurl sometime to show what he can do as well. I would hate to part with him but he is a promising player and we need something now. So doing what I can for them to get them going.
Right now the team is in some trade talks with Biloxi not saying which players yet but they are. Also the Artics might be interested in a trade. So hopefully can get something that will help us out.
The Spirits have something up their sleeves there are rumors going around that the spirits are interested in bringing in another player. Though the ownership has kept quiet only saying that it is true they are intested but that it will all be reveiled at All Star Weekend Deadline. For they want the announcement of the player to come at the all star weekend. So thus far the Spirits are keeping pretty hush hush about it.
Now lets see I am not sure if I left anything out right now but if I do remeber something I will be sure to add it soon.

Well here is your answer the reason why is because it doesnt matter who starts but who finishes the game and now Rodger will still get his minutes but this gives Thurl sometime to show what he can do as well. I would hate to part with him but he is a promising player and we need something now. So doing what I can for them to get them going.
Right now the team is in some trade talks with Biloxi not saying which players yet but they are. Also the Artics might be interested in a trade. So hopefully can get something that will help us out.
The Spirits have something up their sleeves there are rumors going around that the spirits are interested in bringing in another player. Though the ownership has kept quiet only saying that it is true they are intested but that it will all be reveiled at All Star Weekend Deadline. For they want the announcement of the player to come at the all star weekend. So thus far the Spirits are keeping pretty hush hush about it.
Now lets see I am not sure if I left anything out right now but if I do remeber something I will be sure to add it soon.

Here is my report though as many of you know my going to furry fiesta was a well kept secret not many knew I was going except a few people who needed a ride up. I stayed with

I ran into a bunch of you at the con and had barely enough money to survive I mea I was down to like 5 dollars on saturday. Ramen noodles are a life saver. I did get a few comissions while I was there. I picked up a few badges and also some good artwork that I got a good deal on. It is not on par with the amount I usually get but I was strapped for cash this con. Though did have fun I went to a Mavs game with Buckhopper and Jtigerclaw the mavs won damn it. I was even wearing my I support two teams the spurs and the whoever beats the mavericks. I also ran into and hung out on sunday with 
siberfox and 
tsukidarkstar my bwother and his daddy. We kicked back and watched vids. Though one thing to report did have some rum with buckhopper and Jtigerclaw and I prayed to the porcelin gods afterwords. I guess it was because I was only living off of Ramen then and couldnt stomach the alcohol I had like 3 glasses. I also helped out raith666 as much as I could as well. He needed some huggles and I am hoping I helped him out.
Now on the way back from the con I know something goes wrong at every con I go to. This con my trunk wouldnt unlock the key wouldnt go all the way in. So we had a dilema as I had to stop in Austin and wait for a friend of arialunaris to come and help get it open as he was a locksmith. Now poppa conner did get it in the end it took us 3 hrs to get the trunk open. What it entailed was us taking apart completely of the back seat of my car entirely. I mean we had the seats on the ground outside as I crawled into the trunk and popped it via the emergence button. Then we put it back together. Now that was fun and I do owe poppa conner for helping us out and bringing the tools for the job. There are many more people I saw like

The spirits are going to have a new player Leo Tang....we are going to be waiving Cody Types it will improve the team greatly and I am wishing Cody Types good luck in his future.
Also those of you who know the inside thing about buckhopper in a kilt joke...there is four page comic being drawn in my sketchbook about him wearing a kilt. Buckhopper is not a happy bunny *giggles* but it cant be helped it just to cute to see him in a kilt.
Well all that is all the zanyness I have for you I am going to upload the pics I got and then maybe head off for some rest.

Sorrwies havent been on as of late but wanna wish yall a merry christmas, happy holidays and a happy new year.
Between family and work I havent been able to get on furaffinity in about a month. Came back and had like 1268 submissions, 14 new watchers, 12 notes, and not going to say how many journal entries there were. But as you can see I have lots to go through and sort. I am not ignoring anyone just work and school have kept me busy as well as family. I hope everyone is not to upset with my absence but needed to deal with things. The holiday season is always a busy time of year for me with my two jobs and school and family all biding for my time. So I am going to get something to eat then I am going to pop on till I have to go to work so should be on at the latest by 9pm central standard time. For those who keep up with the Spirits games for the FBA the spirits are currently 9-9 we started 5-3 then went 3-5. In last two games are 1-1 so are winning only 50 percent of games. We also have a game tonight and tomorrow which will end 3 games in 3 days. Hopefully will be up and chatting with ya soon. My messangers are on at the momment but like I said stepping away to get some food. I have yahoo set to inivis and will turn it online as soon as I get back which is soon I hope. Well anyways just status update on me for now I an exhausted and tired and work tonight but other than that my holidays are going great so far. Hope to talk to yall soon.

Posted 16 years agoOkay all I am still trying to get over this myself and it does seem surreal. I am a huge Cowboys Fan and have been since I was a kid. Now they have been disappointing me to no extent recently and show me glimspes of what they could be but never are and yesterday was one of those types of days.
The unbeaten saints well now should say they have been beaten. The Cowboys walked out of the Super Dome in New Orleans with a Win over the 13-0 saints. Doing something that no team has does before them so far this season and hand the Saints a loss and nontheless in their home stadium at the Super Dome. Now I am not sure if should be elated shocked or surprised.
I am a realist when it comes to the cowboys and I seriously didnt think they had a chance against the Saints. Neither did my Saints fan friend but when the game was done and the score showed Cowboys 24 and Saints 17 I still couldnt believe it so much so I had to text my friend. I also had to keep checking the website to make sure.
So with it confirmed what happened to the Saints? And how will they respond?
Go Cowboys and I hope things will get better soon.
Lets finally get out of the first round of the playoffs this year.
But for now beat the Redskins and the Eagles so we can get into the playoffs

TobuThanksgiving and Black Friday
Posted 16 years agoJust the updates *giggles*. Well spent Turkeyday with my grandmother and dad my brother and his wife and my nephew where a no show so watched the cowboys game with grandma and dad. It was a small Thanksgiving to say the least. Now with my mom after standing outside a store since midnight was 12th in line. I was late this year due to taking a nap usually first or second in line and out there at 10 pm. Well I got through another black friday met some new people it was fun. Got my victory coffee from starbucks I know I know the evil empire but when doing black friday in rome must drink like the romans and have evil consumerism added to it. Got to my moms house around 6 am and slept till 10 pm now got to do a friday thanksgiving with my mom, stepdad, nephew, his friend max. After that going to play games and hang out till me and my mom go to the Mannheim Steamroller concernt at 8 pm. I have another busy day *nods nods* and now since my nephew tugging on my ears to play a cheap generic plugin knockoff of guitar hero he is only 6. And it camp rock guitar game not sure what I am going to do so will talk to you all later.

Posted 16 years agoAllright I have a set of 3 logos for the spirits. Allright I know this will make a few people go mmmm and some people go wtf? Okay I am currently doing a Furry Basketball Association thing with buckhopper and many other people it just buckhopper started this all and it kind of growing. I am currently doing the storyline and decisions for a team called the Baltimore Spirits. Now one of the players on the spirits 
RNCoyote was kind of enough to draft up some possible logos for the team I would like to see which one the people like best. Now all gotta do is wrap up the team history as well as the team owner and I will be done *smiles*. But for now this is about which logo people like best.
Here is the link to all 3 of them. Remeber these were done up by RNCoyote I would like to know where he gets his info on sports because he is more knowledgeable than I am and I get news fast but not as fast as he does *giggles*.

Posted 16 years agoAs some of you may or may not know. This bunny is now the GM of the Baltimore Spirits in the Furry Basketball League and on Nov. 1 was our draft. I had the 9th overall pick as well as the 33rd overall pick. Now it was an exciting draft and I as I always do sought to make the Spirits a better team. I started with a trade before the drafter sending Zuri Chacha a back up powerforward on my team to the Stanislaus Thrust for their Back up Center Billy Joe James. Then at the draft I wasnt down a good center fell into my lap named Samuel Roberts being the best player on the board I took him as the play I really was looking if took them would be way to high to take them at 9. So I waited called a few gms to see if they were interested in a trade for their pick. The opportunity knocked when the Dakota Bikers with the 20th overall pick chose to do a draft trade with my team. Picking who I wanted then immediately trading them to my team. The trade was not just for the picks but for a pair of players as well. I traded Samuel Roberts Rookie Center and Stephanie Beck Starting Point Guard to the Dakota Bikers in exchange for Silvia Windcreek the rookie guard and starting point guard Andy Kitsu. I was really looking at Silvia Windcreek I like what shi could do for my team being a big guard. Though I was too early and her clone Nicollette Rospierre wouldnt be there when my second pick at 33rd would be there. So I felt the trade was excellent move for me. We swapped point guards and I got the guard I covetted and I feel that she will do well in the FBA. Now it has been a long time since the Baltimore Spirits had a championship team but I am planning on changing that and turning it around. Got some young players now and some accomplished vets. Also if any other good possible trades that come up that will make us better come up I will take them. I am committed to putting together a winning season. I am getting carried away I forgot to mention who I took 33rd and the wait is well worth it. I took a young forward/guard from Texas named Rebel Coyote. I know he is going to spark some controversary but I watched this kid play and I have also met him serveral times in person and I know what he can bring to the team so lets welcome our team. Both new and old for this year I am predicitng some exciting things to happen and who knows we might make it to the finals.

Posted 16 years agoHi everyone just decided to drop people a line. I know been scarce online this week but that been due to that I got sick. I am still sick so have not been getting on much just to do school work and check my mail. I am not avoiding anyone it just I cant concentrate on anythings. I have also been going to work alot as well...I cant call in due to I need the money. Apparently my school decided to take money out now and they charged my account putting me in the negative for 750 dollars. My check will cover about 500 of that but I wont have the rest of it till I get my VA GI Bill check. Which will be at the beginning of the month. Well good thing that is soon otherwise I would be hurting. I will have some money due to my tips from dominos but that will be what I use. Well just wanted to update people so they wouldnt worry so much about me being sick and missing. Well I will try and get better soon I am just finishing my soup and then it off to bed for some more rest. Well anyways hope to talk to yall soon.

Posted 16 years agoAllright well my new computer technically came in yesterday but no one was home so Fedex took it back to there store. So I went back to my moms house where it was to be shipped last night after work. Well technically this morning but that is beside the point as morning is my night and vice versa. Well anyways I finally got it all hooked up and online. Though now that leaves me little time I now need to get all files transfered over from my laptop to this comp that I want. That might take sometime but hey at least I got net. I need to remeber my password for ICQ other than that yahoo should be fine for now. It is a Dell Insperion 537s slim tower that I purchased not much but it runs 2.00 gigs of mem and is a dual core vs my laptop or 384 mb of mem and pentium 4 celeron processor so shouldnt have the problems of freezing as much. Well my mind might freeze and get distracted by other things but I really cant upgrade my memory in real life. Well anyways I am excited about my new comp and getting all my stuff updated now. But anyways I will probly be on tommorrow as I need to go to work in 5 minutes. So please be patient with this bunny. I promise to be on soon and responding again to all your comments and submissions should be way faster now. I am happy ohh soo happy. *lol* Well anyways I gotta hop off for now.
