I am so excited for this!

One week felt too short to do anything. I'm already back to my dorm in La Jolla, classes start tomorrow and I'm actually looking forward to it.

Since my last journal I've been super busy with school, but now I'm back in the Bay Area for a week for spring break. ^^ Don't have anything planned tho, maybe I'll just catch up on some of the shows I've fallen behind on :P

FC was amazing! I got to spend 6 days with my mate  hypnoflow and see  kordixtiger for the first time since FC 2011. Also meet some new friends and lots of old friends that I also haven't seen in ages, including  frostbight,  kayskah  belledraco,  qblion, vidan, leomagna, joykill, and many more people. It's nice to be attending the whole con again. I had to miss FC unleashed and unsheathed podcast the last 2 years because I have to leave for the train station around 5-6 ish on Sunday. If I weren't so busy right now I'd probably get PCD after such a wonderful time there.

Ever since getting back from the con, however, my time is completely swallowed up by school work. Immediately after getting back to my dorm on Tuesday morning, I read to catch up on a week's worth of reading for 3 of my classes before going to class, then attend a project meeting and then stay up till 2 am finishing an assignment that's due on Wednesday. The whole day on Wednesday was I was in class and more project meeting and reading at night. Thursday morning was more reading and then class and then went to work on project with a teammate till 9. Had to stay up till 2 again working on an assignment that's due today (Friday) and took an online reading quiz that's also due today. Today, I went to class in the morning and then come back to dorm to work till 8pm before finishing that assignment. Only now do I have the time to take a break and write this journal. I'll also try to upload some of the commission sketches flow and I got tonight since I'll be busy most of the weekend and next week as 2 more assignments are posted and I have 2 midterms coming up next week.

Today is the first day into my second week of school and I got into most of my wait-listed classes. I have a feeling that this quarter will be pretty busy for me. I have to be on top of my game especially right now as I'll be missing two days of classes for FC. It's fortunate that this is only the second week and that FC takes place during MLK weekend. Still I'll have a couple assignment and reading quizzes due during the con, in addition of a project check point and two assignments due as soon as I get back. This means that I'll probably have to spend quite some times studying and working at the con. :( Still, I'm excited to be going for the duration of the whole con again since 2012 and seeing friends I haven't seen since last year. I turned 25 yesterday. The day started out kinda blend. No celebration this year with family: mom went to work and sis went to practice for a performance she has to do at church for today, and I had to fly back to SD for school. Once arriving at SAN, though,  hypnoflow was there to pick me up with a small cake and a lit candle. We went to a couple comic stores and book stores in San Diego and La Jolla and had a delicious dinner at a Sichuan restaurant. Before dropping me off at my dorm we stop by the gliderport at Torrey Pines, which was really romantic with just the two of us at the sea cliff at night. When we got to my dorm no with back yet so I get to show him my room before he has to go back to LA. It was the first of my birthday that we were able to be together and it was great! <3

My last journal was from a year ago and doesn't even have any content! I think I'll make writing on here more often one of my new year's resolutions. Anyway, happy new year! :3
