Posted 11 years agoWhy does everyone assume the Nice Guy is a manipulative scumbag who hates women because they won't return their affections? Does anyone stop to think that not all men think alike? That some men might actually be looking for a loving relationship and not just sex, and are crushed when they get rejected? It's probably not a good idea to react in anger but maybe some men just don't know how else to express their emotions.
It honestly hurts when I see people of both genders just assuming that. I was the "nice guy" when I was in high school, but I wanted a relationship. I wanted to have someone who would hold my hand in the hallway, kiss me goodbye when I went home at the end of the day, someone that I could share my life with. Yet all my attempts failed, and it hurt, and it made me angry, but mostly it mad me feel worthless. That's not a good combination.
Honestly, women can't expect men to just ignore the fact that they got rejected. Are we not supposed to have emotions? Honestly, that's how it feels sometimes, and I'm tired of it.
When is it all just going to stop?

Contest: Create Your Own Alien Species
Posted 15 years agoOK, here's the thing. For future fics about my fictional Altarian race, I need some other alien races for them to interact with. So, I'm holding a contest.
It's pretty simple. Just come up with your own alien race for the stories. Be sure to include the following in your entries.
Species name
Species homeworld
Species government (official name, type, etc)
Physical description of species
Notes on species culture (language, religion, cuisine, etc.)
Notes on species history
I'll pick the winner based on originality and creativity. The prize is to have your species featured in a future story.
Enjoy and be creative! ^^

Hateful Atheists in the Furry Fandom
Posted 15 years agoBring up any religious topic on the FA forums and the militant atheists come out. And it's not just the standard "there is no god lol" stuff you usually hear. I've seen posts where folks have said religion should be wiped out and removed from society.
Yeah, like that's gonna go well. Didn't we already have something like that? Oh yeah, the Holocaust.
I'm really getting tired of the hate. It pains me that people can show such ill will to entire groups of people simply because they believe in God, or oppose the sexual license that all too often pervades certain sectors of the furry fandom.
It's so unfortunate, wouldn't you agree.

Big breasted bimbos and what not.
I mean come on, is that the only thing people are capable of drawing nowadays? Females who are all boobs and no character? Since when did art consist of nothing but drawings of porn starlets?
I mean, my female characters would be considered "well endowed" by our standards, but you know something? They're not just eye candy, they're CHARACTERS, with PERSONALITY and DEPTH to them. That's my complaint; people creating eye candy for people to oogle over. To be honest, it makes me sick sometimes.
Folks, please, from the bottom of my heart; stop drawing bimbos and mimbos (male bimbos, for those of you who don't watch Seinfeld) and start putting character in your OCs and your artword. Contrary to what Avenue Q says, the internet is NOT just for porn.

Are People Just Immune to Evil?
Posted 16 years agoLet me tell you a story. Picture it, four days ago...
Someone we thought was a friend of ours recruited some of his buddies and his underage girlfriend for a special mission. Their mission, which they didn't need to choose to accept, was simple; troll everyone on a certain forum because they hate them. So for the next four days, all kinds of offensive tripe and crap where posted on the forum's chat box and on some posts, and it only ended when we finally blocked and banned them from other forums.
But that's not the important thing. The important thing is some of their other buddies who didnt' participate had nothing to say about it, and even thought it was funny!
What they did was a clearly evil act. What could be more evil than hurting other people like that? Yet some people thought it was ok. Are people just immune to evil? Have we lost all our morals? Do our fellow human beings mean nothing to us now? Apparently so.
Anyone else think this is horrible?

Commission Me
Posted 16 years agoHere's the scoop; I'm a bit strapped for cash at the moment, and I haven't been able to find a job, with the economy the way it is, so to get an income going, I've decided to offer commissions until I can find a decent job.
It works like this; I cannot draw for the life of me, so I will be offering written stories instead. I also figured it would be a departure from the usual types of commissions you see here ;).
To request a commission, simply send me a note with the following form filled out.
Type of Request: Put the type of story you want me to write for you here
Title: Put the title you want your story to have here
Characters Featured: List all the characters you want featured in the story here
Plot Outline: Give me a basic description of the plot here
I will accept up to five commissions at one time.
RULES
1. NO pornographic or erotic requests.
2. NO excessively violent requests. (think "Saw" type things)
3. NO requests with themes that attack anyone ethnic, racial, religious or cultural group.
4. NO requests featuring partisan political content.
6. NO requests featuring other morally objectionable content. (excessive profanity, drug use, promotion of illegal activities, etc.)
7. Only ONE request per commissioner.
8. I reserve the right to refuse a commission request.
