No, it can't be....can it?
Why! I think it is!!!
Hey guys! Toto here, and yes, this is a journal. Hazar! Something i haven't actually done in a little over a year...dear god o.o
But yes, this is my amazing return to the written word...i hope. Lol
So, on to business. I would love your opinion.
About a year or so ago i was writing a book entitled 'Maho No Koko' and those of you whom remember it, remember i put it on a permanent haidas...sadly, i couldn't write it any more....
GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! As time passed, my writing finger grew itchy and tireless and thus, my brain child was born. A re-write...a darker version of a book i had written, with some very major key points changed.
My question to you is people, i want to write this into a series of books. The first one being free to read and i am hoping to get it published and what not...the sequels though, only being revealed when i want them to be. ^^
But how many books is too much?
Can you kill an idea like this?
Would love to hear how many parts you guys would like. ^^ my ideal is between 3 and 5

Posted 13 years agoI have been thinking over what i wrote in my last journal and realized it was all,...blach and started thinking, maybe i should list some things i can do... (LIGHT BULB) So, here's the shorter version of things that I would like to be happening soon, each in descending order from my most preferred (not saying i don't like all of the options, just some are better then others.
1) I would really like to collab with an artist and begin an epic comic series, maybe do a page a week? I would write and 'Script' to comic and the artist would do the actual comic. I have many ideas for this and possibly even multiple comics. So, if you are interested note me or comment below with the title or subject as COMIC and link me to your artwork. ^^ and explain why you would want to do this. Or even why you would like a project like this or whatever.
2) I WILL be starting a new writing project soon! And this time it will be amazing and awesome and OH MY GOD! Those of you who don't know, i had a rough year and a bit since MAHO NO KOKO (See here-> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6923429/) Started. I moved in with my sister who wasn't the best housemate...she has just fallen pregnant and was engaged, i lost jobs, got promised jobs if i moved, i moved, the jobs fell through, worked shitty jobs for shitty hours and that's the basic jist (As well as my computer crapping it's pants every 4 months >_<) So yeah, again, multiple ideas means multiple stories! So either comment below or inbox me with the title or subject as Project and link me to your ref sheet and some things about your character and why you wanna be in the next big Labrador book...thing
3) One thing i have told myself would be possible a landslide is free commissions. But over time i have grown warm to the idea. I am going to open 6-10 free short story slots and...well, write them! :D Again, comment below or inbox me with the title or subject as Free and link me to a ref, tell me your fave genre and some things about your character and i'll go from there
4) Lastly...a raffle....Nuff said? Don't know what the prize is yet but anyway, yeah, a raffle. Hahahahaha

Posted 13 years agoSo, i have been debating whether or not to post this journal for awhile, and i do think that its over due, so you know what, fuck it, here it goes! Before you continue reading, this journal may come off self considered and slight selfish, and i am sorry about that. But if you don't like it, tough! >_<

Recently i have been wondering why no one wants to commission me...i believe its because i am not good enough and in recent times i have had some issues with posting things, as well as the fact that writing commissions are for a very select audience and that most people would rather art then a story, and that i do agree with...my partner, the wonderful
tiikerienhitsuji thinks its because i am not that well known...that seems easy to actually understand.
I was getting popular at one stage with my story series Maho No Koko. (See http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6923429/) But since almost a 6 months ago now, that story had to stop, due to my living and working arrangements, though now i have a stable (ish) living and working arrangements though the story is on Haidas, almost indefinitely at this point. But seeing as people were reading and enjoying things of that nature (Nature of the new chapter every....whenever) i am going to start doing another one in the near future.
Secondly, an idea that came from my partner was to buddy up with an artist and do some comic book work...this would be an awesome way t get my name out there....though, in saying that. A lot of artists who do comic work don't need an author. I have tried in the last few weeks offering my help to artists who wrote comics that have become popular and none of them do collaboration work...and lets face it, with the way the Australian economy is going, the cost of living here is extremely high, i cant afford to PAY an artist to turn my works into comics. Which sucks...so, here comes my first idea....
Would any artist who has read this far like to join me in a collaboration comic? o_o
If so, either leave a comment below or note me?

Maho No Koko has been put on Haidas in-diffidently.
Recently, as most people will know, my laptop i was using for the projects has recently, in light of other terms, shit itself and i had to factory restore it several times, wiping all data from it, including notes, refs and other things in relation to Maho.
As well as moving from place to place in only a space of a few months, my life has not had a chance to sit still so i can work on the major project. Other budding factors like unemployment and my series of mental issues haven't helped the matter.
Its only a matter of time before i start to rummage through old journals, notes and other things to find the refs i need and the information i desire.
Just thought i'd let you all know.

Soo, im going to be on a furry radio called ACTfur on air...well, at least i hope so. My audition taped kinda sucked cause i did not have any emails to help solve peoples problems.
Basically, my thing i wanted to do for ACTfur was to do a radio version of one of those advice coloms. The Advice comes from three of my OC (origanl Characters...) They are.....
Mamma Gumbo
Age: 50
Species: Racoon.
Apperence: Typical racoon with a white tipped tail with black and brown stripes up it. Grey chest and white belly with a grey head and brown face. Her eyes are luminecent green. She has white smooth hair.
Background: Jamacain.
Profession: Witch Doctor
Married? :Widowed
Shaniqua Brown.
Age: Ooooo gurl! Why should i be telly your skinny white ass,......ok ok...im 29 gurl.
Speices: ooooo gurl! Im a big ol' bear gurl

Having alooooooot of issues right now...money wise....
Having problems with work and were im living cause....well, its both hell..I'll be moving out and hopefully moving to melbourne soon. So yays for dat! I had to fight work to get 4 shifts this week so i could afford to live....
So, if you are awaiting payment from me, FEAR NOT! I will pay! BUT!! Sadly, due to the issues I am currently having with my paypal, bank, loans and shiz, it may be a weeee bit longer then i had hoped for.

Posted 14 years agoSo i have had alor of people ask me when the next chapter of Maho No Koko is comming out and what the delay has been.
Last few weeks my job has been making me do double shifts for about 5-7days a week.
Christmas took over
And new years is comming up and im going to mid fur.
So...next chapter i am hoping for anyday now where i can sit down and just let the words flow like wine.

Posted 14 years agoI am a very nice person...I try my best and hardest when it comes to dealing with people...and most writer furs who are out there will know being accused of not being a real writer hurts....
Especailly when it comes to grammer and spelling....
I'll clear something up here.
My eye sight is crap....VERY VERY BAD....glasses give me headaches, so most of the time, i squint my eyes....and barley see shit. My school carrer wasnt taht good at all...and i have tried to teach myself to write and all that stuff....but when someone says that your your predending to be a writer? Thats just cruel.
I accept critisim. I accept it. when given nicely.
This post has hit me very hard, that i feel like closing this whole story and ending all my comps and not posting a comp ever again.
Yes. Writers are ment to be creative people and come up with characters. BUT why not critise artists too? They too are creative, but they auction spots off alot...they hold compotitions over who wants to be where doing what in a picture. So why critise writers instead of artists? Hmmmm? (not having a go, making an observation)
And for anyone wondering why i am asking people for spots in my stories is simply this....I like watching peoples reaction when they see an aspect of there character come to life (If done right) on a page, interacting and moving around and watvhing themselves evolve. Its called the 'Never ending story' effct brought on by the book itself in which Basteian (or however you spell the bloddy thing) is apart of the story and he watches HIMSELF evolve.
When something negative is emailed to me, even if it is abusive, i treat it with respect becase that is SOMEONES opinon. Not everyones..BUT....when you post a nothing but negative response to my post PUBLICLY HUMILIATING ME!!! Thats when i get pissed. And i will let you know...
It isn;t fair to abuse someone because YOU dont understand. If you have an issue with me or my work, (note for anyone in the furture....) An inbox will get you a long way....if you post it publicly? You will get nothing but blocked.
As for my plot holes and things? They may not make sense now...BUT if you wait and read, you'll see what i mean.... grrr.....
I would gladly post the reply he sent me on here....but no...i am bigger then that....If you do wish to read it and understand WHY i am so very upset. PLease note me. BUT i do this in confidence, praying that you will respect that i trust you and not show it to anyone else....if i find out you have told this fur or you have spread it, I will be most upset....
And asking for a sympathetic ear on facebook is like trying to ask a shark not to eat you will ur juglar has sprung a leak and your having s fit in the water...All you get told is t HTFU....and learn to take some... I have taken some for most of my life, But I will not accpet it when someone tells me to accept it and stop bitching because you dont know how to take it and that if you look though it he's trying to help....if this guy was just 'trying to help..' he would have worded this differenlty....But no...he didnt....He was just trying to look big and tough

(not having a go, making an observation)
And for anyone wondering why i am asking people for spots in my stories is simply this....I like watching peoples reaction when they see an aspect of there character come to life (If done right) on a page, interacting and moving around and watvhing themselves evolve. Its called the 'Never ending story' effct brought on by the book itself in which Basteian (or however you spell the bloddy thing) is apart of the story and he watches HIMSELF evolve.
When something negative is emailed to me, even if it is abusive, i treat it with respect becase that is SOMEONES opinon. Not everyones..BUT....when you post a nothing but negative response to my post PUBLICLY HUMILIATING ME!!! Thats when i get pissed. And i will let you know...
It isn;t fair to abuse someone because YOU dont understand. If you have an issue with me or my work, (note for anyone in the furture....) An inbox will get you a long way....if you post it publicly? You will get nothing but blocked.
As for my plot holes and things? They may not make sense now...BUT if you wait and read, you'll see what i mean.... grrr.....
I would gladly post the reply he sent me on here....but no...i am bigger then that....If you do wish to read it and understand WHY i am so very upset. PLease note me. BUT i do this in confidence, praying that you will respect that i trust you and not show it to anyone else....if i find out you have told this fur or you have spread it, I will be most upset....
And asking for a sympathetic ear on facebook is like trying to ask a shark not to eat you will ur juglar has sprung a leak and your having s fit in the water...All you get told is t HTFU....and learn to take some... I have taken some for most of my life, But I will not accpet it when someone tells me to accept it and stop bitching because you dont know how to take it and that if you look though it he's trying to help....if this guy was just 'trying to help..' he would have worded this differenlty....But no...he didnt....He was just trying to look big and tough

WHY DO I NEED YOU SOO MUCH!!!!
Sooo...as christmas fast approaches, my hours have been increased... *whimper* and no my feet ache like hell. From the normal 3-4hr shifts for abou 5 days a week, one shift per day....my boss has decided that because i am a great bartender. *Cough Cough* more like no one else wants to do it, My hours have incresed, still the normal 3-4 hr shifts, but doing two shifts a day for 6 days a week...that equals 12 shifts a week, at $16 an hour....hell, im rich!
BUT!
Maho No Koko will be taking its time now, not thinking that i would be getting more shifts then i am, i will be doing this in my down time which is the hour break between shifts, when i get home at about 10 or 11 o'clock at night and on my ONE free day off...

People say 'Think of the money' Which I am...but that means my wonerful story will be ALOT slower then i had hoped....but, it will get done, whether it be one chapter a week, fortnight or month. You will get your fix of my amazing work!!! *holds for applause, only hears crickets.' Thankyou for that wonderful round on indifference.
