Why do you watch me?
Posted 12 years agoI have quite a few watchers but I feel almost 99% of them are pretty much dead. So, if you are one of my active viewers... why do you watch me? What drove you to watch me and what do you like about my art? I'd like to know, I need a bit of a distraction from the rather painful wake-up call this morning.

Posted 12 years agoDue to what I woke up to this morning from my mom. Everyone knows my cat Cali, well... she passed away... sometime last night because my mom found her dead on the sidewalk outside this morning. And it just hurts a lot worse this time for me, I've lost pets before... went through many deaths including a miscarriage by Cali where here kittens were born a few weeks too early (Which killed me inside and out) and now this one... she died while she was pregnant.
We've been trying to get her fixed for the longest of times but Cali wasn't a 'normal' cat in the sense that she constantly had phantom heats where we could not catch her to do anything about it. When we wanted to take her in to get her spayed when we had the money she was pregnant.
I'll miss her, she was my special girl that I saved... but now we have to let her go. We have her daughter Muffin (Whom you all should have seen) and her son Sassy here... I just hope I don't lose them too like I have so many others... I doubt most of my watchers here would care though... so yeah...

You don't have to do this in return or post a journal offering sketches yourself, I'm just seeing how many of my watchers are actually ACTIVE enough and want to post anything for me. Posted 12 years agoJust got a second note on FA here about someone wanting 'help' with art and asking me to add them to their skype. Ah hah nope... I recall a journal by 
about how these people are generally spam bots so yeah, not adding you darling. I just ignore the notes and delete them as they are not worth my time at all. And well my Skype is personal friends online business yo, I don't give it out or add anyone I do not bloody know.
Anyway onto Commission Ideas. I see a lot of different things on here and I'm wondering what people on here might want to see from ME as an artist. And the suggestion cropped up about Adult Theme'd artwork. Here's the problem for me with Adult Theme'd artwork, I can damn well draw it but I'm more comfortable if it is with my own characters if it involves sexual/sex themes. I figured I'd throw down a list of things that I could possible offer as commission ideas for anyone who might be interested in them or if you want to give me suggestions. I know FA is a place where people can capitalize on the Adult Content for commissions but I want to make sure that I am comfortable WITH adult content before I open up for full blown screwing action XD Note, I don't do a lot of Fetish themes, I might do a few but yeah Fetishes and Me don't often go together.
* Pin-Ups - Something I could more than likely do, a simple tasteful or erotic nude pin-up of a single character.
* Stripper Pole Theme'd Art - If there's something I really AM interested in at this moment it's Strippers and such. So a lot of the artwork of Chaos is my inspiration. If anyone would like Stripper Theme'd art I'm more than willing to jump to this one :)
* YCH - I see them all the time, perhaps just drawing a simple sketch of something adult-rated and letting someone decide if they want their character there could help.
* Pay What You Want - I see some of my fellow artists doing these, pay what you want commissions and such. They seem to be quite popular.

Whelp Yeah...
Posted 12 years agoLooks like things aren't going to be getting better for me, to start things off anyone who hasn't heard yet I was pretty much 'screwed over' by my current school where I was supposed to get a check sometime last week and it's been over 14 Business days so I've had to since void that check and request for a new one. THEN I have to deal with the ordeal and revelation that by December we are more than likely going to lose the house.
Given the fact that I cannot get a job, commissions for me are scarce (Even when I'm open for them) and making money in general for me is hard I guess this is pretty much going to be the well last of the year for me. August we will likely be moving in with my grandmother's so that means my general time online will be scarce due to her very piss poor internet connection (Even though she uses the same internet as us her's is rubbish) and well yeah.
I'm pretty much just being hit left and right by these things and it's sent my stress and my depression through the roof. So yeah, if by some miracle I'm still around by next year then great... if not, well I guess I'll see you guys whenever I can and if I can really. Thanks for being great, loyal watchers and putting up with my nonsense and crap. It's been fun guys.Time for an Update
Posted 12 years agoI've been pretty private with a lot of things as of late because I didn't want to worry or upset anyone but I need to just let something out and give my watchers and friends on here and in other places an update of what might be happening sometime soon. For the most part if I fall off the face of the earth and become well gone, it's going to be because of the reasons here.
I started my school back in May of 2012, and it's been great for me. Up until recently, for the most part I have used the extra loan money I've been getting to help keep myself and my mother a float for these past months and recently that has in many ways screwed me over. Money I was supposed to have back in June has not come in and well without that, that means no money to pay bills or anything like that. To make matters even more of a pain, my moms back has gotten worse and the fight to get her on Disability has pretty much come back with the same old 'you are capable of work despite your condition'.
And now there is the matter that, because of a lot of this. We are likely going to lose our house and have to move in with my grandmother. And while I absolutely adore my grandmother, living with her will likely end up slowly killing me. She's a HEAVY smoker, and my lungs cannot take that like they used to. Whenever I am down at her house and get a good wuff of her smoke in my face it makes it hard for me to breath and such. But we will likely have to move into her house to prevent the loss of our own. I'm just worried that because of this, we will have to let all of our animals go to the Shelter and well the shelter here is pretty much like a death sentence to animals.
I've been getting worse with my depression as well, a lot of people... heck no one beyond the really close friends that I trust enough to speak to know that I suffer from a rather bad depression. And it gets worse each day with the constant nagging from my mom and with the whole nagging basically seeming like my mom is blaming me for everything that has happened to us. I can't get a job for some god forsaken reason. I get calls, I follow up and the like but I always get the "We'll call you Back." Response and never hear from anyone again. I would take another course in my school but we don't have the funds for gas to go up there twice a day, it's a 1 hour commute to my school and then another hour back and with gas prices and an unreliable vehicle that makes it hard on us. The reason I'm getting there right now is because I'm carpooling with one of the most awesome guys I know in my class.
I just wish there was more that I can do for my family but, without a job and everything weighing down on me to the point where my depression is hindering my ability to work on my school work (Don't worry I still get it done but I just take longer to do so) I just don't know what to do anymore. Commissions don't work, I don't have a big enough audience for them to be at all successful that or my art is just that shitty that people don't want to waste their time on me lol... yeah I know shouldn't be saying stuff like that but that's really how I feel at times.
Anyway, to sum it all up. Sometime next month I might just end up disappearing off the face of the planet because I'll be living with my grandmother. And needless to say her internet connection is rubbish and shitty so my time online will be limited or just not at all. I'm hoping things turn around for us but at this rate I doubt it will.Bit of an Update From Me
Posted 12 years agoFor those wondering how well I am doing... it's been rather off and on. And to start the beginning of this week has been rather rocky for me.
To start with, on Monday Night (Tuesday Morning) From about 1:30AM - 3AM my cat Cali went into a premature labor. She was 3-4 weeks too soon with the birth and well... I'm certain most can guess the results. This wasn't normal for her given she has had litters in the past (This is due to her having what we call 'phantom heats' in which she will go into a heat unexpectedly before we can get her to the vet to have her spayed) and it's unusual and extremely rare that she seeks our comfort or help. She gave birth to the first kitten and that one was born stillborn, very small and way too early. Underdeveloped eyes, etc. the second was born alive but died about a few minutes after because it was very much like the first in terms of underdevelopment.
It was painful for me to watch and see something, ANYTHING just die before my eyes. And it's never easy to see a life as fragile as that be taken so soon. There's no real reason why it might have happened and yes I know these things will happen but it doesn't stop the pain or hurt that comes from it especially when you are there to bear witness to it.
To top it off I got a phone call Tuesday Morning from my NEW Financial Aide adviser from my school that summed up everything to me in a nutshell. First off, my original financial aide adviser no longer worked there and her last day was sometime in May and I never got notice about this. Second, my money that should have been in this month was not there and I had to wait another 1-2 weeks before I got it, thus making me unable to pay my Cable bill.
Thankfully, a dear friend of mine is going to pay for the internet (And will be repaid for her kindness as soon as my money gets in) So I won't be going offline but yeah. It's a big hassle right now filled with stress and pain...
HOWEVER! Said dear friend will be coming to visit me tomorrow and stay with me until the 6th of July. She's spending my summer break from school with me so that's a very welcome thing I need right now.
Anyway, for those wondering about me. Stress and more stress keeps piling up but there is some light in all that stress.Quick Pokemon Bust Emergency Commissions
Posted 12 years agoSo my financial aide system decided to fuck me over this month and I need to attempt to earn roughly $150 before next Friday or I am going to go poof, it'd be great if I could earn the full $250 to pay both months that I owe but let's not try that far. Since a lot of my commissions don't seem to be going anywhere I decided to do something new since a lot of my friends are big Pokemon fans and such.
So I am doing a very quick round robin sort of thing for really cheap prices! What you are getting is a Bust/Headshot of your character that can be used as an icon of sorts if you so desire. These can be either sketches or fully digital flat colored images of your pokemon characters. Please know that I have a semi-realistic style and that is likely how they will be drawn in
Any help is appreciated, feel free to post links to this journal elsewhere if you wish. Though at this rate I doubt I'm going to make enough money to keep my internet which means I'll have to spend another $100 just to get it turned back on when I do get my money. I'll cross post the beginning here but the details will be on my DA Journal instead.
"I am debating a few things, I am completely out of sketch paper so I cannot exactly take on my normal commissions that I usually work with. But, I've been hit hard this time around and do not know fully what I am going to do in order to keep Cable and the Internet for this month seeing as my Financial Aide won't come in until MARCH and not just March but MID-MARCH.
So, since I cannot actually draw anything I'm going to offer something else. This would be flat colored 'references' for certain species of mine. While I will hold a limit on one the other will be unlimited and will likely be open for long enough until I can get a sketch pad so that I can resume normal commissions. This is also going to help me beat the freaking coloring block that I have right now @_@
What you will be getting is a full bodied, flat colored 'reference sheet' style image that you can turn into a character for yourself. You will not be able to claim the species as your own or the artwork."

Posted 13 years agoI actually just downloaded a game recently onto my Ipad and well let's just say I feel like a rabid fangirl because of it. I've played this game and it's just freaking AMAZING! I can certainly recommend anyone who has an Ipad download it when they can because the designs are just oh my god!
The game is called Dragon Slayer, and it's a Dragon based fighting game where you fight dragons. There are boss dragons and a TON of designs! If you want an idea for what some of the dragons look like I have a Stash Folder dedicated to all my screenshots from the game.

This guy is still my damn favorite of all the dragons I've fought thus far... He's the 5th boss dragon you fight and I keep fighting him because just... UNST that gorgeous freaking design! I think out of all the dragon types, these particular ones are my favorites, next would be the wyverns and then the Lizard based dragons are last. They all have bitching designs though >>

Posted 13 years agoI honestly feel like just giving up on any hopes of getting money in this house. The thing is, the hopes that I had for KEEPING my internet and Cable today were just poofed out and gone. Why? Because Brown Mackie doesn't do things normal and well @_@ the first 753$ I am SUPPOSED to get will not come in until July rather than June. Which means that I cannot pay on my cable and I won't be able to get the new computer I want.
If I cannot pay on my cable, it will be shut off after or by the 20th of this month (Because we didn't get a full payment on it last month) and that will add an extra 250$ on it to get it turned BACK on. And I NEED my internet to be capable of doing my school work because well most of the ways to turn in my work are online @_@
So yeah, I'm basically screwed over royally, needing at least 150$ (Or the full 200$ for the cable bill) but I don't want to take on commissions because I really don't want to make anyone wait for mass amounts of time for artwork. The Blog Itself
This is a small blog for everyone to share their experiences with Roleplaying through the years, it is meant to give examples and provide links that could help budding roleplayers to grow. It's like a mini-collection of ideas, etc. for everyone to just look at and read. Now, as a warning this is a very opinion related blog. If you do not like someones opinion ON it please do not get upset with us. Everyone has their own opinions and some speak them greater than others do.
I also have links to my other blogs, my TDC blog contains information about all creatures related to my Headworld for The Devil's Creed. Posted 13 years agoWell we're back to square one again with everything. Don't have enough money to pay on Cable/Internet so I don't know how much longer I have to remain online. Just know that if I suddenly disappear from everywhere that I am usually on (Skype, Messengers, FA, here and the DA Chat's I'm in) it's because my net was cut off due to a lack of payment.
I am no longer getting food stamps, and whatever hopes that we had from the supposed 'job' that my mom was getting were thrown out the window today. I'll admit, we missed so many red flags with this open promise but it was desperation that likely made us miss them. Because, we're both without a job and our source of Income is not a solid enough foundation to work with and with my Food Stamps being cut we were looking for any means of bringing something into the house.
To explain this supposed job sent us two fake money orders to cash today. Thankfully, the Post Office caught them and informed us of this information and even showed us how to tell them apart from the real ones in the future. The post office also has the Envelope and we will be taking them MORE information tomorrow about this. Who knows, maybe we can do something about this since it's a rather large Federal Offense... but for now we will let the Post Office do it's thing since this likely stirred up the Hornet's Nest here with them and well >> Federal is a VERY aggressive thing when it comes to stuff like this.Ahhh I love the System...
Posted 13 years agoSo... I get myself situated, getting ready to go into College and all that. I went to inform my Case Worker in SRS (Social Rehab Services) about the change, and well I just got a lovely call about it. So, basically... because I am in College now I am no longer qualified to get food stamps. Now... you may be saying "Wait what?" Well let me get into details of what my Case Worker told me over the phone.
Basically, because I am in College now and I am attending it I am now disqualified from Food Stamps because of these simple facts... one, I don't have a child dependent in the household (Basically I'm not like most of these other people who go out popping babies out left and right just to get benefits from the system) and two... because I am not working for at least 20 hours a week on Minimum wage.
Now... I've been trying to get a JOB for these past 2 years... that is the reason why I got onto Food Stamps to begin with. So that I can at LEAST be bringing in food for the house... but... now? Nope, can't do that you're in school now and don't have a screaming child and you're not working. So we're going to just cut you off and throw you to the street while all the other people who ABUSE the system can have everything they want.
The good news? Well I'm keeping my internet and Cable, the bad news? Now I'm not going to be able to bring FOOD into this house because of SRS screwing me over for shitty and bullshit reasons.This girls going to College
Posted 13 years agoOrientation is the 25th at 8:45am, then Classes start on the 29th
I go for three days a week, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and it's from 8:30AM to 12:30PM. And on some days I might not even have to go to the school itself and can stay home to do my work online~
Took the Compass today... let's just say I have some mixed results my scores were good and decent but... dear god I feel so horrible for my writing test. I got a 72 in Reading which was high, a 22 in Writing which was LOW and then a 44 in Math which is an improvement. Why did I get so low in the writing? BECAUSE I WANTED TO THROW THE COMPUTER OH MY GOD! Basically with the writing portion of the test you are given a essay to read through and it is littered with bad grammar, spelling, etc. and you are to correct it. The problem is... I am a writer, I write stories... these things literally broke my mind with how badly I wanted to just retype the entire things. There was 2 of them, and you have to click on each area to highlight it and you are given 5 choices. As I read it I was correcting it in my mind and well needless to say my mind and the computer were not linked together...
EITHER WAY! I am in school now, Grants paid for close to half of my first year of courses (Which was $12,924 for the year broken down into three terms, Grants paying for $5,775), I take ONE Course a month meaning that I'm not going to be hammered down with a bunch of things at once and I get 12 credits per quarter. Every 3 months I get a week to 10 day break in between so I can rest and the like. I'm doing something with my life and finally doing something that I ENJOY. But apparently my aunt doesn't think highly of that.
Apparently my aunt was bitching and preaching her ass off about things, about my choice in college, she was going on about how I should have taken courses at the college HERE and was bitching about how it's a 'waste of money' and a waste of 'gas' to go back and forth. Well you know what? SHE CAN FUCK OFF! Just literally... she can take whatever horse she's sitting on and shove it up her fucking ass since she's already got a high horse sticking up it anyway. I am doing something that I personally enjoy, not something that she wants me to do. It's not my fucking fault she has a degree in something and is a LAZY mother fucking bitch who doesn't want to raise her children and doesn't want to fucking work. Hell the woman refuses to get MARRIED because oh hey, she's getting all these benefits from the military and is leeching off the fucking Tax Payers money. Posted 13 years agoWell while looking into somethings for helping the family I got a call from Brown Mackie College and well the offer was too good to pass up. Dominick (The man I spoke to) was quite encouraging and said I would fit in very well with a few of their courses so... why not right? I've got nothing much to lose and more to gain by taking such a step in my life and it's better to do so now than later.
The course I got the most interest out of (And was suggested to take) is the C.A.D.D class or Computer Aided Design and Drafting Technology class. It's a 1 or 2 year course but I'd rather take the 2 year course to get the full benefits of it (And so I am not overwhelmed in the beginning of the course) and I would be going to school on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30am - 12:30pm. I will be taking 1 course a month and will be taking 23 courses. Of which include things like Multiview Drawing, Technical Drawing, 3-Dimensional Graphics, Detail Drawing and even Solid Modeling. Things that CERTAINLY interest me.
I will be going back in on Friday to take my Compass Test and also will be tending to Student Financial Services afterwards. So, well hey I might be finally making something of my life. With luck I can get my hands on a Scholarship, there seems to be a MASS amount of them so when I go in on Friday I'll be asking which Scholarships I should look into.Well... I guess that's it then...
Posted 13 years agoUnless me and my mom get more money, or figure out if the 75$ we got wasn't from Child Support or not I will be going offline completely as of the 20th of this month. Because Cable/Internet come together and to keep the Cable/Internet we need at least 125$ a month that we are NOT making it will be shut off because we cannot pay it. Meaning, that I will likely be going offline for god knows how long until I either find a job or find something that can earn that 125$ a month that we need to pay.
I guess... clinging onto a small fraction of money a month has just finally gone out and that my father has finally 'paid off' what was needed for Child Support... *sighs* I don't know anymore... I feel like I'm a massive disappointment since I've not been able to get a Job in over TWO years. And 99% of the applications I fill out are ONLINE applications...
I can always see about going to my grandmothers to use her internet but... that would result in my dealing with Bitch Aunt and I'd rather not do that... *sighs* I guess this will be a good-bye for now after the 20th...
I'm going to attempt to get everything I need done BEFORE then but, if I don't my apologies for being a shitty person.
