Yep due to my ever changing home situation I am now temporarily living with my mate until I am allowed here no further or at least till my friend finds a house >.< whichever comes first..


SO anyway! This means I will be able to stream a little more often now! ^^ Expect me to be streaming at all kinds of times throughout each day I will try to stream at least once a day! I will be working on my iron artist commissions the majority of the time. Hope to see you all in stream! :3

So someone close to me is offering to buy me a new drawing program for my birthday but I have a small issue x.x I have no idea what to get. I currently use SAI and GIMP (I use SAI the most) and keep in mind I REALLY REALLY dislike Photoshop because its really big and complicated and it just doesn't work the same as SAI. My main issue with it is that I can never figure out how to preset the buttons for my pen with the program. I can easily do it with SAI it helps me draw so when I make a mistake I can quickly undo my last pen stroke. Basically my pen buttons are set to undo and redo to help my drawing process along since my tablet takes up my entire keyboard so I cant just simply use my keyboard shortcuts.

I am open to any suggestions (including Photoshop) I'm looking for a program that more based on producing digital art rather than photo manipulation. Something preferably under 100$ maybe?

Gah I'm just frustrated. I just wanna throw in the towel and accept defeat. I can't compete with this damn popularity contest anymore... But how can I give up when I have a goal I need to meet soon >.< Getting a job is impossible for me at the moment and art is just bringing in little to no money at this point. However I can't give up so easily I need to do something if I want to move in with Ichi into our own place. I will have an AD up here on FA again soon hopefully that will help me out a bit. Ok so I had recently posted a journal inviting for all who have received art from me to comment with some feedback on my work. So as a kick starter I went around and asked some people who have recently received art and or have multiple pieces from me and I thank those who I went to and did it without question you all are awesome. Some however have been hesitant and or have completely disregarded my request completely. Not sure why this is when I'm asking a very simple task of some of you. I don't need a perfectly written description putting me up on some high pedestal. Just need some public feedback. This is important to me in the idea that this is a public feedback system for newer commissioners to see what kind of work I do and what it is like to have business with me. If its just because you werent happy with my the work you know it's ok for you to say so? Aren't you supposed to be getting what you paid for? I have no problem making tweaks and fixing things to the commissioners standers. It's what every good business person should do. I have had a small handful of people completely keep quiet during the process of the piece until it's completion or they wont say anything at all and just act like the piece never existed not even post it or say "thank you". I understand the idea of hurting my feelings or getting into an argument with me but as my profile clearly states I am an easy going person and if I was confronted by an unhappy commissioner I would make sure to fix everything that I could to make them happy because thats what good business is all about. Always make sure the customer is happy and the customer is always right.... Not getting any kind of feedback after the completion of a piece upsets me because I don't know how they feel about it even if they repost it or not. It hurts me when people don't say anything then I can't do anything to fix it and make sure they like it. I want to be a good artist and I need to know if I am a good artist thats why I asked for the feedback. this isnt just for the public but its for me too so I know that I am doing a good job.

So again if you have ever commissioned me or traded or even received a gift from me.. some feedback would be highly appreciated.

WOOOOOT yep FINALLY out of high school! :D Had an awesome graduation so happy I'm finally done with the school bullshit for now. xD AND I GOT MY COMP FIXED!!!

Welp turns out its either my LCD screen and or the backlight is broken which sucks cuz now i have to fork up the money to replace it but its all good! I can still work and stream like i planned by connecting my comp to a tv :p

Well first off sorry that i got everyones hope up about working this week....

For whatever fucking reason my computer isnt working all of a sudden. It was working fine this morning when i wrote the other journal (actually used my comp to write that journal) and when i went to go open it up later today my comp turns on but my screen isnt lighting up... I dont think the backlight is broken, I used a light to look at my screen and its just black..

I have no clue how or why this is happening but it royaly pisses me off since i was really happy to get some work done this week but i dont think its gonna happen at this rate..

I have a mobile device to use to check fa and stuff and i will continue to try and get my comp to work again however im doubtful since i have the worst fucking luck in the world.. I will keep you all updated on the situation as i make progress on it...

Yep all settled in for now and ready to work! I will be spending the next 6 days (except Friday) working on my current commissions clearing out the list to make room for more commissions! I will most likely hold a stream at least once everyday so it gives a chance for my commissioners to watch their pieces get worked on, and I would like to get back in touch with you all since I have been so distant and quiet to my friends. Since now I have about roughly 3 months to start making money and put it towards me and Ichi moving in together, I need to get started as soon as I can and if I can give myself enough time I will maybe start a small Iron Artist challenge! I also have a few ideas I have been tossing around in my head for some nice quick commission ideas. I will probably take on more commissions this time than I ever have before since I need to build up the funds.

ALSO! I have been looking into different ways going about my commission system and prices. I want to create something more financially accurate for when someone commissions me. What I had in mind was starting to base the price of my commissions off of how many hours I work on a single piece. In a nutshell: Someone comes to me for a commission and will start off with a sort of small down payment and will not be required to pay off the rest of the art until it is complete so that I can calculate how many hours were put into that piece. This method seems more fair to both me and the customer so that I'm not over or under pricing my art and the customer is getting exactly what they are paying for! :) I sure do hope this works out! I will be reposing a new TOS explaining this method and such. I would love to hear your opinions about this and I'm open to suggestions too! ^^

Well I knew this wasint going to last long >.< turns out that my friend (whom I'm living with currently) her brother got kicked out of his place and is taking back the room in which I'm staying in. So it's time for me to leave and move again... I just wish I could have stayed a little longer and gotten myself a job and some money saved up to move into my own place but now it's nearly impossible. However my new living situation will give me lots of more time to work on art and take on more commissions! :P I plan to absolutely save all of the money I can get and put it towards me and Ichi getting our own place together! :3 I can't wait for that<3 To spend a lifetime with the one person who means the most to me :)

I move out this weekend and Friday is my last day of school. I look forward to finally being able to work on art diligently again! ^^ I hope to start producing pieces much quicker and of better quality! :3 Also this gives me time to practice and work on my own stuff too!

So things have been up and down but I'm still hanging in there. HA!

Woo got 2 yes, count it 2 weeks left of school! ;) I walk and get my diploma May 30th I'M SO HAPPY OMG YESSSSSSSS

I am just so done with school xD and it feels so good to know that I only have to do it for 10 more days just 2 weeks! Ah once I get out I hope to have more than enough free time to work on art (unless I get a job which I'm still trying to get) and save up money for me and Ichi to move in together! ^^ Hopefully if I can keep my commissions moving fairly well It shouldn't take us long (especially if I get a job). I am so excited to move and also to get my personal skills back up and thankfully I will have more time to stream too! :3 This summer is going to be an exciting one I can feel it! So much room for potential just gotta keep going and strive to make my life better than it ever has been! :)

Yeah apparently just applying and calling people doesn't work anymore. I should go in and actually talk to someone but thats difficult when the place is about 5 miles away and my only means of transportation is a bicycle and i don't want to have to bike my way all the way up to a potential job/getting denied. I have applied to at least 12 different places I have called them all and none even considered slightly bringing me in for a possible interview its just bullshit... I'm in at over 100$ in debt because of an unexpected medical bill as well as my phone bill (which the debt continues to pile up every month) I'm also supposed to be saving up money to move into my own place so if I can't find a job..idk and art is my only means of income right now and it sucks to try and find the time to draw on my computer because I'm too busy with school and other personal obligations. However it is easier for me to find time to work on traditional art. I would like to take on some traditional commissions to help try to save up money if anyone is interested.

Traditional work will be cheaper than digital and I can mail out the original art so you will have it!

I will post something about my traditional work and prices later if enough people are interested.

And I guess if anyone desired I can take on at least 1 more digital piece to add to my list.

I know my progress on art has been very slow and I want to apologize, all of you have been very patient and I thank you for it. I'm still working on getting a job (might actually have one soon I hope) I have 5 weeks of school left so I'm also busy trying to keep my grades up still and I'm doing well. Since I have been back from FWA I came down with a nasty cold and I have been working on getting better and its looking like work will pick back up this weekend. I will try my best to pump out art as best as I can and theres no telling if I will be able to continue to stay with my friend after school is over till I can get out on my own. I feel like I have been walking on thin ice lately even though her parents have assured me theres nothing to stress about >.< I need to get a job soon so I can save up money ASAP.

WOW! What an amazing convention! :D It's so much bigger compared to Megaplex, I got to meet so many amazing furs also got to admire some of my favorite popufurs hehe. Despite the fact neither me or got to finish our suits we just didn't have enough time. BUT! They will be finished soon enough! :P

Friday: Me and Zam arrive in Atlanta around 4-5ish got settled in the room (which was on the 63rd floor OMG!) and then wandered around the con. We went through the artist alley first (I have like a million business cards lol and tons of new artists to watch). Then we wandered into floor wars which was pretty awesome then we wen on a booze run hehe (I don't drink xP ) Zammy was pretty tired from driving so he ended up staying in the room while me and made our way down to the rave. The rave was super awesome and I killed it with my rave gloves and memorized many furs who were hehe "having a good time" and eventually around the middle of the rave I ran into an amazingly attractive girl AKA I complimented her and I was rewarded with a kiss ;D and our new friendship blossomed from there, she is an awesome person and artist! I highly advise you check her out! :) Also got to meet the ever so awesome and his mate! (super cool people) So at the end of the rave me Grom and Feathers make our way back to our room and woke up Zammy we all chilled and had a good time! ^^


Saturday: Woke up super late lol and met up with zammy who was already wandering around the con and we made our way to the dealers den. I got to meet my favorite fursuit artist who is AWESOME! I also got to meet the ever so awesome and many many more awesome artists who i need to start watching. Watched the fursuit parade through the dealers den lol then we hit up a few panels met back up with feathers. Me and Zammy went swimming in the awesome pool of awesomeness hehe. Then we watched the fursuit dance competition which was fucking amazing! I eventually want to get into that x3 And soon after that Zammy bunked out of going to the rave again so I went and joined up with Feathers and Grom and we danced for a few hours even though the music sucked balls. So we made our way back up to the room woke up Zam again lol we all chatted and had a good time!<3


Sunday: Me Zam and Fethers all go to waffle house for some brunch and then head back to the hotel to pack up our things and leave :P

The whole experience was amazing I wish I could go back and do it again. I most defiantly for sure wanna go again next year it was just too much fun<3

I'll just call it a loss and not open a commission stream then.

I already have shit I'm supposed to be working on so I'll finish those up. I'm not going to be taking on any more custom commissions for a while even though I need the money. I might post a YCH auction here and there but that's it.

I guess this will also give me time to work on my own stuff so yea.
