Christmas/New Years/Discoveries...
Posted 14 years agoChristmas was...meh. Wasn't fantastic but I don't care much for the holiday anyway. I spent it at my Aunt's house and just kinda derped around, drawing with my niece and listening to music. I got a large box of Ceylon tea, some art stuff, 1600 microsoft points for xBox, and some ponies. (Cupcakes and talking pinklestia.) What did you guys do/get?
The New Year is coming soon! This one better be better than this year, 'cause this year sucked...
...What am I forgetting? OH! Resolutions. Right. Hm...I'll do those later! Not sure what I wanna accomplish other than losin' some weight (we all know these resolutions go...) and graduating.
In other news...
I learned a few things about myself since Christmas and I'm looking for some advice or information.
I discovered recently that I have very deep feelings for someone. I love someone. This someone is in fact female. Which is a slightly new feeling to me, but I'm not at all bothered by it!
I had a small series of problems with one solution. That solution is: Do nothing. There's nothing I CAN do and I've accepted it.
The feelings are mutual. However...She's a Jehovah's Witness. She's in a relationship that she's not supposed to be in anyway, due to her religion's restrictions on marriage and relationships. As you know, I'm an atheist so obviously there's a problem from the start. Then we have the fact that many religions do not encourage homosexuality, even forbid it entirely. So it was a problem, but we talked about it and we've agreed to simply stay good friends and just continue the way we were. Which I'm totally happy about! So why am I all spazzy about this?
Well...I learned that it is possible for me to have emotional feelings for the same sex. I can love a girl, she just...has to be really special...

Well...I've known this for a very long time, but I don't know if there's a word for it:
When I have emotional, lovey-dovey feelings for someone...I cannot, no matter what, look at them sexually. I see them, their soul, who they are. Not their body. I don't care what they look like, and my brain basically says "Nope! Romance and sexual romance are different! Gtfo, genitals!" Which I'm okay with! But, is there a word for this? So I know how to explain it better? So, if anyone knows, please tell me!

Whoa, long time no see, FA.
Posted 14 years agoHaven't been on here in a long time, huh? I was thinking of switching to my other account, RavenLancaster, but I'll set that aside for when I finally have it prepped and ready. (Probably gonna pop over to that one in June.)
In other news, I've been working on my artwork and have improved a bit...still trying, though. Long way to go. Updates will happen eventually.
Here are some things that have happened since my last login:
-I was assimilated into the herd and became a Brony.
-I became a Whovian.
-I became a Homestuck fan.
-I obtained a pet rat named Bentley.
-I obtained an xBox 360 and Skyrim, which I started today (Gamertag: neuroticFennec)
-I bought myself an iPhone 4
-I was mugged on the bus for said iPhone
-Said mugging lead to homeschooling
-Grades are awesome due to this.
-I have a job and make a fair bit of money (working for my parents.)
-I had my appendix out.
-I realized I may very well be schizophrenic.
-I started a new fursuit, which looks MUCH better than the first one I tried to make.
Not in any particular order, of course.
Needless to say, lots of shit happened plus more that I probably forgot.
I'm currently derping about with my xbox and wishing my internet would stop being a colossal prick.

Day one, we had to leave right after registering because a friend had to be home by 9. We then went to Friendly's and dropped everyone off. The whole time, Mom chewed Kai out about stupid shit...
Day two. DIDN'T. EVEN. GO. Mom said she would be back by 3 and didn't return until like 9. Where was she? MASSA-FUCKIN'-CHUSETTS. I yelled at her the duration of the day/night because she let down my best friend, who wanted to attend Vic Mignogna's autograph session. The whole goal of the con was for him to meet Vic and get his autograph. That got fucked over, we went at midnight and the only thing to do was watch There Will Be Brawl and Afro Samurai.
And now, day 3, the finale, it's 9 AM and Vic's faith panel has begun. At 10 his Star Trek panel will start. I want to at least get there and attend that so maybe I can snag him afterward when people exit the room. But mom won't wake the hell up and Kai's not online so I have no way of going.
Basically...the convention had no redeeming POSITIVE QUALITIES whatsoever. The only good thing to happen this weekend was he spent the night and we stayed up giggling like idiots at stupid things and trying to decipher what Dew was saying in his sleep.
Sorry this thing sucked so bad, Kai. I wanted it to be a fun weekend for you.
