I've spent the last week at my girlfriend's grandparents place. All I had for entertainment was a book and the TV, no internet there but, I had fun with them. The ride up there was a long one and blocked by traffic that was afraid of snow...3 hours to get 10 miles, how rediculous.
Watched a lot of detective shows and read a lot more than I normally do. The simplicity was very enjoyable. One thing I will say is that it was COLD there! It even snowed for a little while. Saw wild horses, rabbits, and plenty of birds, I only heard the wild dogs though.
The day after new years (today) we headed back home and instantly went for the internet.

Well, it's been christmas for 50 minutes now. I think I'm the only one awake in my house and I honestly have not felt ANY holiday spirit...doesn't help that this whole "politically correctness" BS has sapped the spirit right out of our holidays....-_-'"

Every day I feel alone, everyone I know either doesn't know about the fandom or they are against it. I've discovered my interest around my freshmen year in highschool and have been a closet fur until two years after graduation! I feel I have no body to talk to, my girlfriend accepts my being a furry but she isn't one and she'll mess with me about it, which is fine. I just feel like I have know one I know who has this common interest and I've decided to try the one thing I dislike, being social online.

I don't know if this goes public or not but if anyone sees this, please leave a reply, I'd like to meet someone who shares this interest and isn't looking for anything beyond a simple friendship....wow, reading this just sounds really cheesey.

On a side note, I've been thinking about writing a story about my fursona and his struggle with humanity...I just haven't the foggiest idea how to start it, nor do I know if this type of story is horribly over played or not.
