Posted 12 years agoI have a hard time telling people that they're annoying me, so I do a lot of little hints to get the point across. Most of the time people will figure it out since I'm not the hardest book to read... but every now and then people just don't get it or I forget about it and move on.
When you message me every time you log into Facebook and I'm not responding, that's probably because you've never said anything more than "Hi." For the last 38 messages. Whether I was online or not, even after sending you a nice couple sentence reply the first few times. Stop it.
A lot of people in this fandom are starting to ruin it for me. I'm just here for a good time and to meet great people, which I've done for the most part... but DAMN do a lot of you ha e some very annoying habits. And yes, I know I do too, but this is my journal to complain in or be happy.

Actually before I go on anymore... I'm not looking for feedback or excuses on this. This is me just ranting and venting.

Why do you need another secure account to post your naughty stupid stuff? Just secure your first twitter and post whatever the fuck you want on it. You feel like you can't share something with everyone, only a select few? Then maybe you're not as close as you think you are, or maybe you just need to find something else to POST ON THE INTERNET FOR EVRRYONE TO SEE. You just use it for sexual related stuff you say? Maybe you should just protect your first account then like I already said, or perhaps just not talk about your sexual exploits and fantasies to the select few internet people you want, if you can't share it with everyone then maybe you shouldn't be sharing it at all.
Maybe I'm just not understanding the concept all the way or something I don't know. I feel like if I share something on the internet, then it should be something that anyone who follows me on any social media site can read and either be okay with or stop following me.

FFWWAA 2013 -The Report
Posted 12 years agoOH MAH GERD Y'ALL!! I have never had such a FANTASTIC time at a con in my life!! SOOO many awesome people!! I think I had a smile on my face for the entirety of the con!
Of course with all the running around I was doing in suit every afternoon, I didn't get to hang out with all the people as much as I had wanted too, but that's why we have so many of these things! Lesson learned, eat first - suit later x3
A GIANT thank you to EVERYONE who stopped by and said hi and took pictures with me at the bar in the afternoons. I don't think I've ever been so social while drinking before. It started out to help me forget about work to be honest, and ended up being about seeing everyone I had drank the night before with! You guys were all awesome and deffinately a big part of the memories I'll have from there.

Just chilling out here, wishing time was flying a little faster. Can't wait to get back and jump right back into old habbits and find new ways to have fun and new friends again :)
Big things coming up: I -WILL- go to MFM this coming year, I don't care what I have to do to make that happen, and I'm planning to go to FWA so if anyone is going to either of those please let me know and maybe we can work something out to room together or just meet up or JUST TALK ABOUT HOW EXCITED WE ARE THAT THEY'RE COMING UP!!

Posted 13 years agoHey everyone, just wanted to update people on what's the happs in my neck of the world right now.
I finally got to my deployment location. GREETINGS FROM AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION IN SOUTHWEST ASIA! Anyway, in the 5 or so days I've been here I've already been way too near a mortar shot and seen some idiot army guy discharge his weapon on accident in the chow hall.
So ... yep. It's okay here I guess. The 6 days a week work starts after my 16 days with no days off apparently. Blarg. I'm still so jet lagged from the flights to just get here that I don't know if I'll ever get fully rested again. So yeah I just wanted to kind of update anyone that cared and let you all know that I'm still alive over here and things are nothing like the media will ever be able to show you all.
Hope everyone is well and can't wait to get back home and go to some CONS real soon. FWA AND MFM next year!! I've been away from MFM for far too long :( Hope to see all you furiends I've missed for so long again.

My furry button has been pushed and broken in the on position. I'm buying my plane tickets today, have a room spot reserved and my hopes high for a fun couple of days. Just got a few things to touch up and prepare with Shaw before then and can't get my leave approved until next month but verbal agreements have been made for that so far. Looking good for some time away from the island and a last HUZZAH before I get deployed.
Looking towards going overseas at the end of the year. Can't really say the dates for sure or anything but August-October~ish. So I'd be back to Hawaii around... March...ish.
Well... that's about it really.. lost my phone at work so if you've tried to call recently that's why I haven't called back. Will advise on that situation later.
Hope everyone out there is doing great and having a wonderfully fine time in general. :D

MFM - Wishing I could...
Posted 14 years agoSo with this military thing pretty much removing my freedoms and running my life, I'm not gonna make it to the one weekend trip a year I look forward to the most. :'( I'm really disappointed about this... but .. I'll make it up to myself. I'm planning to go to AC and MFM next year after I save up my money and leave and just GO.
Until then... Work work work... and beach fun... then more work... Even though I'm here in this "paradise" I don't get the real interaction I want in my life... that interaction with my friends I've spent so much time building relationships with and the furries I meet and wish I could actually hang out with, they are deffinately some of the coolest people I know. But, this is what must be done to make money to do the things I want, and in the process I guess I get to do something important for my country.
Safe travels to everyone going to the con, and Hoo-ah to all the serving military out there. Have fun everyone, and keep in touch, I LUVS YOU ALL!! <3

Firstly - Everyone should be watching their daily dose of Friday video cause who hasn't laughed enough at that!
and secondly - I go to little rock to wait on my flight to Hawaii today :O
I'm finally getting a little bit nervous about it I guess. I think it's more, I'm not really ready to leave home and I don't reallllly know what's gonna be going on once I get down there so I'm anxious and nervous and sad and kinda going a little wacko right now. Already packed up and good to go though, so... just waiting for travel time to come around, probably see if I can find some people to catch lunch with me one last time.
Also I'll be out of computer contact for the most part once I get down there for a good month. My phone will still be working so please hit me up on that :D If you don't have my number and want it just send me a note aaaaaand i guess I'll talk to you all in about a month once I'm all settled in again. *furry luvs* <3

Posted 14 years agoThe Shaw has returned to the internets! Sort of anyway, I'm stuck surfing on my phone, but at least I can still check mostly everything from it anyway.
So anyhow, basic was loads of fun with the yelling and marching and waking up early and the hurrying up to eat the small portions of food oh it was all kinds of awesome. But now I'm at tech school where I sweep and mop and dust the dorms while I wait to start class, also good times.
But I mostly just wanted everyone here to know that didn't yet that I was back. I'm in Virginia right now and will be for about another 2 months before I get to go home for 2 weeks and then get stationed (tentatively) in Hawaii for 2 years. Ohhh the agony! Lol.

Posted 15 years agoFirst off, apologies for the terribly whiny and depressing past few journals. I was jus taken way off guard by what happened, but I don't have the time to be fruit over it. Just picked myself up and carried on about with my preparations..
Which brings me to the purpose for this
I leave for little rock in about 2 hours. Air Force bound indeed. One last night in Arkansas until the completion of my technical training then ill be back for 2 weeks before my first base assignment. I really appreciate all the support and love I've gotten from you all and I can't wait until I get through with everything an have Internet again to tell everyone how it went and where I am and then to SEE everyone at MFM again this year, which I'm told it will be impOssible for me to miss by a few of you. So wish me luck guys and girls... I'm gone, see you when Im bigger, fitter, and richer :P <3

Posted 15 years agoSpent the holiday in north part of the state since my dad whined and begged me to for a month. Had a good meal though and got to catch up with my sister which pretty much made the trip worth it. Also got to know my sisters boyfriend a bit more, he's a lot easier to get to know after he's had a couple drinks.
Anyway, an overall "meh" of a weekend after you count in the part where the girl I have this nice giant crush on told me she also liked someone else now, because apparently she liked him 2 years ago but they quit talking and now he's all flirty with her again -_-' makes me a little bit upset but whatever.. no need to worry about girl problems right? Just keep my head up and focused on the air force....
SO my birthday is coming up on Sunday, so far I'm planning on doing nothing at all because I got no friends nearby :/ it'll be the greatest birthday ever
So anyway I hope everyone had a good week and has a great weekend.

... i dunno i hate being a deadweight - which is exactly what I feel like right now, I can't wait for Jan 17 to roll around, my whole life is pretty much gonna change that day.
Sooooo... anyway... I think I'm gonna try to get up to the CAFA meet this weekend. I need some time out of my rut in life. Plus I need to spend time with the awesome people up there. :3 i've been saying I'd make it up forever so I should make true on that.

Posted 15 years agoSo my mind set's changed quite a bit since that last journal so I won't be making one of those again hopefully for a long long time ^^; sorry bout my short emo streak!! haha
Anyways, I'm starting in on a vlog that I'm gonna make every day or every other day about my preparations for basic, which may now be the middle of november apparently - just keeping my ears open for that important phone call. Posted 15 years agoI just feel the need to write some things down. read them or don't, doesn't really matter to me.
Was talking with a girl tonight that knew exactly what she wanted to do in life and what she needed to do to get to that point. She's well on her way to it too. This made me wonder what my point in life is to which... i wasn't really sure of an answer. Sure some people figure out what they want to do in life early on and some follow through with and some don't, views and goals change as life goes on I suppose. But as for myself, I haven't had a goal in life since I got my Eagle Scout when i was 13. "But you joined the Air Force, that must have been a-" no no, that was never a goal in my life to join the military. I've never truly wanted to join the armed forces, it just didn't seem like something I would want to do but here I am doing it anyway. I dropped out of college. I know I say I didn't have the money and that's part of it, but college has always been hard for me. I can't force myself to do schoolwork at home no matter how hard I try, I've always either done EXTREMELY well on tests or EXTREMELY poorly... i'm not good at tests and stuff mkay? "But you made a 93 on the ASVAB..." you mean the multiple choice test meant for 11th graders? yes...yes i did...
Anyway...
I've noticed myself picking up a lot of habbits from my mom that I didn't realize I've gotten from her. We both spend money we don't have, cling to things that make us feel good and repeat ourselves when we don't think people have heard what we said or nobody responded to what we said even though we KNOW they heard.
I just got really tired... I'm a go to bed and finish tihs another day.. i feel better about ... EVERYTHING already though
